This little restaurant is a hidden gem, definitely worth the stop!Ask Grandma T for a joke! She was so funny & friendly. The entire staff was wonderful.We had an excellent home cooked lunch on our way to Louisiana. Will definitely stop again when we are in this area❤.Vegetarian options: Grandma T made a homemade salad for my mom even though it wasn't on the menu, such a sweet thing to do.Kid-friendliness: Sweet little grandkids in the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors.

So whenever you're hunting for a home cooked meal made from scratch literally and at a reasonable price with an eclectic country theme; look no further than Grandma T's for this. It's very straightforward with the fare and we enjoyed not just the food it's easy to see why they have a huge take out service as well, (we saw at least nine orders go out in a half an hour). The atmosphere is friendly and it has ample seating for all sorts of parties. It's almost like sitting down at your grandma's house for a meal. We had the specials Liver and Onions with mashed potatoes and green beans, and the Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. The liver was fried nicely, and the sauteed onions made it perfect. The mashed potatoes are made from scratch, you'll find small soft chunks of them, among the mashed. The green beans are nicely seasoned as well. A nice place for a quick bite or for a good meal. While we did get the dinner, we also saw they have a great breakfast menu, which we will be adding to this in the future.Parking: This building has been renovated from a gas station, so with all the gas station pumps gone it's more than sufficient.Kid-friendliness: They have a nice kids menu which is a hot dog, grilled cheese, a pancake, chicken nuggets, or a waffle. All have an appropriate amount instead of an adult serving. And for under $7.Wheelchair accessibility: Being located on the ground floor makes it easy for any ADA requirements to be met. As well as the tables are accommodating as well with lots of space to get to them.

This restaurant was a blessing!!! We had traveled to Des Moines IA for my grandmothers funeral and we were on our way back home and had a wreck and totaled our vehicle. This restaurant owner fed us, let our dog come inside (it was raining) and let us sit for 2 1/2 hrs while we waited on our ride to come get us!! They were just all so very amazing!!! Most def recommend this blessing of a restaurant!!!

Delicious breakfast on Saturday when I was headed South, looking forward to another when I was headed North. Google said open Wednesday & I was psyched! Showed up 10am Wed, door locked. Even the sign on the door says open Wed. Sad.

What a charming and filling retreat from February morning's windy chill. Staff warmly welcomed each guest (many by name) and promptly proffered drinks. We dined on Grandma T's breakfast: Biscuits and Gravy, Hash browns, Eggs, and Sausage Patties. Breakfast is served morning, noon, or night. These griddle cooked breakfast items will not fail to delight the tastebuds and quell the rumblings of a hungry stomach. Yum!

Clean restaurant, delicious food, and very friendly and attentive staff!"Down home" cooking and portions are very generous.Grandma T's has daily specials for lunch and dinner plus all day breakfast. In the summer months you can get specials from the smoker. The baked goods are always good and they vary from week to week.Cash only but there is an ATM on site.Some of my favorite dishes have been Chicken Fried Steak, Liver & Onions, Hot Beef mash, Ham & Beans w/cornbread... her tenderloins and her bread pudding are award worthy!Definitely worth the stop!Parking: Small parking lot. Can accommodate 15 + vehiclesKid-friendliness: High chair, coloring books, kid's menu. Grandma loves kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking lot to sidewalk

Driving to St Louis we found this place to stop at. Looked a little questionable from the front but inside was totally different! Looked like your grandmas kitchen inside and food was awesome! Breakfasts were great and very large tenderloins! Service and staff were very friendly and efficient.

Stopped in for breakfast on a recommendation from a friend. It was a wonderful family owned and operated cafe. Grandma T and the rest of the family were very welcoming and the food was fantastic! My husband and I both commented how rare it is to find a gem like this in todays world, so glad to have one so close to home!

Ok folks, now hear this. It took a LOT of little spots to find this perfect one. But let me tell you, Grandma T's is the business. And when I use the word Business I'm taking she throws done in her kitchen. Man oh man OH Man.First off I want to give a shout out to her husband who is an amazing host gives you all the information you need and even gives the great tidbits that make you intrigued to taste dishes you might not have ordered. It's family-owned and I loved every minute of it you truly feel like you're sitting in your family's kitchen for breakfast.Now the food is something to treat yourself to. Her French toast is so light and fluffy it melts in your mouth. The pancakes are to die for! I even ate food off my husband plate and I'm not really a breakfast food person.Definitely take the drive out and enjoy Grandma T's wonderful home cooked, home feeling meals. Thank you all so much for the great breakfast and conversation!

I have had several very gd meals at Grandma Ts, however the day I got my friends to go. There was a table of men that came in and ordered after us. There were only two other tables of customers besides us. Their food came before ours and looked delicious. Ours came and all was over cooked and unappetizing. I was embarrassed. To be fair Grandma wasn't cooking. Wish I had not taken friends there.

Traveling from Indiana, we stopped in at this little mom and pop restaurant for some breakfast. Not the fanciest looking place, but never judge a book by it's cover, the biscuits and gravy were delicious and the service was great. As a small business owner, just wanted to give the great folks at Grandma T's a shout out.

First time there and will be back ! The desserts were real good ! The guy that waited on us super nice and attentive. Want to try their all day breakfast next time. Only downs are only open until 8pm and cash only. We eat late in the summer so curious if open later in summer ?

Stopped in on our way back to south Dakota for breakfast as we love to find home cooked instead of chain restaurants...omg, the food was AMAZING!! Owner and waitress was the sweetest ever, we highly recommend!!
