Great selection of fresh produce and baked goods. Also the best location in town for fresh seafood.It's a smaller footprint store but it still has all the popular offerings. The staff are friendly and helpful.Also, the prices seem competitive especially with the Prime member discount.

I love Whole Foods. They are one of the few major companies that know how to hire the right people. They have such a good staff. And the food selection is great. I've just recently started shopping here for a few things and I'm a big fan. This is the only place I can pay for my items with just my palm so this place is like magic also.... 😁😁

I’ve been going to this Whole Foods for a long time, it is my grocery store of preference and everybody has been nice to me ALWAYS, yet today I went and as I checkout in one of the fast checkout registers the associated was being very nice with the lady ahead of me, to my surprise her behavior changed completely when it was my turn, she didn’t greet me, she didn’t ask me to insert the card, she won’t even acknowledge me, after one minute she finally ask if I had inserted my card, to what I responded that I haven’t because I didn’t know the pin pad was ready, after my payment went through, she pulled the receipts and leave it on top of my bag, I said good night and she didn’t reply. I very nicely put a complaint in customer service and the person that received my complaint was very nice about it, he found it very strange coming from the lady I was referring to. To be honest, I felt very bad, I was on the phone speaking in Spanish, I felt this lady was being racist, that was the vibe that she gave me, she completely ignored me during the interaction. Hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else.

I cannot say enough how me and my fiancée love this place !!!! Prices are definitely higher than the usual you'll find at other grocery stores but the products, produce, seafood and items are so high quality here that's to be expected !I wish I could shop here for the family daily but the wallet won't allow that lol !

Excellent selection and prices. The only thing I don’t like is that my wife comes home and says there’s a male checker that seems annoyed when she has a full cart. That’s just weird.

I enjoyed shopping there, the place and the people are very helpful it's a delight to shop there. I used to shop at Hy-Vee and I feel as if I have wasted my time going to the overpriced unprofessional store Hy-Vee corporate losers. Go ahead and pay some QB and charge us more. What a stupid concept.

I've only shopped here a few times but their prices seem expensive. I've also been disappointed with their pastries. The pastries looked good, but the taste was disappointing. The almond croissants had very little almond filling, and the raspberry almond danishes were dense and chewy. I expected the danishes to be fluffier.

4/23/2024Hot food bar continues to have good things. Not everything is good, but many things are,and a few are great. It's always at very least an excellent salad bar, which aren't common.1/16/24As good as ever. The hot bar jerk chicken was okay, the meatballs in Rossa? sauce were amazing.Great salad and hot food bar. Friendly employees too. On average a bit pricier than other stores but some things are normal or even cheaper than other places.

I would love to see larger shelfs for organic fruits to allow higher quantities of organic tropical produce especially when the produce in season and constantly out of stock; for the whole town of west des moines theres on average 6 organic pomegranates (which are constantly out of stock) and barely any organic mangos (also always out of stock), low supply of overall organic fruits unless its bananas which I can pretty much go anywhere to buy. I love the suppliers fruit quality only found at Whole Foods in DSM so seeing more availability would make my experience shopping here better. Since I’ve began shopping at Whole Foods, certain employees have given reoccurring rude interactions, I have learned who to avoid when asking for assistance in store. Thank you to the people who care for helping others and don’t mind directing customers in the right direction.

$15 worth of bacon wrapped up by someone with makeup exactly as Brandon Lees "The Crow" (not on Halloween) folded and wrapped tightly causing it to break in half, be crumbly and ripped. Please teach The Crow to wrap bacon. Also let them know it's creepy as hell, I probably won't be buying meat from there. Edit. Bacon was good.

I drive all the way from Boone just to get their amazingly fresh Salad Bar, great variety of soups like my favorite Chicken Tortilla, and delicious desserts!! Outside of having super fresh veggies to build your own salad from, we also love the different pasta salads, potato salad, and coleslaw, all made fresh! Of course no meal is complete without a dessert like chocolate chip cannoli or tiramisu, they even have vegan desserts if you want that sort of thing. We stock up a few soups and salads and keep them in the fridge for longer than you'd think, sometimes. They even accept EBT as long as it's cold foods, nothing hot.**TIP** Put your salad dressings in the 1 oz cups with lids, instead of on your salad, and they won't weigh your salad down, since the price is per pound!!**

Hey, it's Whole Foods, what more can said. The produce looked appealing, the specials in meat and seafood departments were good. The store is clean, well stocked and busy. The cashiers are friendly and always ask if you found everything you were looking for and always open to here if you have something share. It's also a great place to drop off Amazon returns too.

This is likely one of the best "bougie" grocery stores in town. Their selection of meats isn't as strong as other locations, but they have a really good local cheese selection at this location.

First time in this Whole Foods since we are new to the area. It's a very nice store, medium size compared to some that we've been in. It was clean. They appear to have plenty of employees. It was very busy. Sunday early afternoon. The parking is a little tricky because the spots are narrow and it is straight in rather than diagonal parking spaces.

I never find what I need at this WF. After 4-5 visits I won't bother making the commute again. My gripes? They never have any bulk coffee beans, their hot pizza is horrendous... for some reason they load up the dough and/or sauce with sugar, produce isn't always fresh and meats are unaffordable. The rest of the store is just stocked with stuff I don't need and it's not always clean so I don't trust their store made soups, etc. I won't visit again.

Vegan options are getting worse and worse, no matter several kind requests otherwise. I noticed this Wholes has removed most vegan options in their “bakery” (it was all prepackaged anyway) & stopped labeling certain things they used to. It’s really discouraging when citizens are trying to spend their money pro-environment, pro-animal welfare & pro-health that this “whole” foods keeps fronting like they’re trying. They keep blaming it on corporate, & that their hands are tied. If you’re vegan, go elsewhere.

I was in a few weeks ago. I purchased a dozen shucked oysters and a can of champagne for lunch at a very reasonable price. They had no issue when I consumed all above in the dining area. This is very special to me as I am a foodie and an alcoholic on the go.
