Building a Walgreens on every corner was a fabulous idea. One can stop and get most items needed to weather a snowy day. Although they are part of a national chain — many cater to the local needs of the community and you can’ t beat the consumer friendly arrangement of essential products.

I just had the worst experience. Went up to grab a gallon of milk. Experienced the worst customer service. The person that was working today .Short brown hair, lip ring…prob young 30s. She was acting extremely rude to the women that worked in photo dept. She was talking bad about the women who was trying to help her figure out of vitamins were by one get one or mix and match. The young “women” was telling the customer how dumb the lady from photo!I simply said after 10 minutes and a long line…if u know how to figure it out go walk around the corner yourself instead of making this women wait (who was elderly) making all of us wait…and talking to customers and telling us how she cant figure out the right answer. she is a disgrace , and if I was a manager I would not let her work customer service! She should be in the back, away from humans! These are the people that have no respect for elderly, and anyone in general. If u are brazen enough to treat a fellow employee like this, then how does she treat customers!

I’ve been coming to this Walgreens, since the store was across the street by Hyvee.With Covid- times are tough, with having enough staff. And people need to realize the pharmacy is a little more complicated with insurance verification/ doctors renewals / meds approvals/ “ Cut them a break “I think for the most part - this team has done a good job getting the needs met.And if I’ve ever had a issues -the staff always make it right in the end!!Keep up the hard work! 💪🏼

There is a clear lack of leadership and ambition at this pharmacy. Each time I go, I have to ask if the prescription has been run though both of my insurances (and the answer is always no!). I can understand being short-staffed, but each time I fill my prescription at the Walgreens on 86th St, my prescription is run though both of my insurances before I arrive. In addition, staff lacks the ambition to send a prior authorization without me asking. No, I do not want to pay $280 for one drug. Take initiative and send the physician a prior authorization and run the drug through both of my insurances, as this is your job! Not returning to this pharmacy.

I usually stop at this Walgreens twice a week. I have a really good relationship with a lot of the staff. But their pharmacy is a joke. I have ALWAYS been respectful to the staff especially because I know they are short staffed. I called to discuss and issue with my prescription and the pharmacist that called me back started talking down to me, when I was asking valid questions. I had to call my prescriber so that way they could give me samples so I didn't go through WITHDRAWAL from being refused my medications due to THEIR mistake. I have NEVER been more disappointed in my visits to this Walgreens. I want to give one star after this absolutely horrible experience but that's not fair to the rest of the staff that is actually very very nice. I definitely will not be using this Walgreens for my prescriptions anymore because the pharmacy staff are disrespectful and rude.

I am a loyal customer at this Walgreens. I spend hundreds of dollars as in there as well as all my family members. Today I went in and made several purchases including cigarettes. Well the cashier didn’t put them in my bag. Normally I get an E receipt. Funny this transaction no E receipt! The manager Amanda who knows me well was HORRIBLE. I will be making a complaint EVERYDAY!

Stopped in on Christmas to get my girlfriend who just gave birth something to make it easier for her. Casey (a shift lead) made my visit so unwelcoming I’m unsure I ever want to do business while he’s working there again. I had some pictures to pick up as well and he made me sound like an absolute nuisance being there. Very poor customer service. No thank you come again either?! Sighed when I asked him for help. You can do better Walgreens!

Horrendous customer service. I scheduled a prescription to be picked up at 5:30 online. The website says the pharmacy is open until 8. I show up to pick it up and a sign on the window says "due to short staff we are closing at 5." How am I supposed to know that? I asked the clerk at the register and she didn't seem to care. How exactly am I supposed to get my medication when you close early unannounced?

I waited 40 minutes for a prescription my client called in for yesterday. I'm an assistant that helps elderly patience run errands. I am Brown and I felt discriminated by the pharmacist at the counter.

This is where we get our prescriptions filled out. The staff has always seemed nice and are helpful with information when something isn't covered with insurance. One of the Pharmacy techs has even remembered my name, not sure if it is because i go there so much, but it really gives that personal touch. Not much else to say, no complaints and good customer service.

I come to this location because it’s the closest, however, after today I won’t be back. The last few times I’ve been here, I’ve left frustrated.I asked if a cosmetologist was in today and was told she was on break. Then two women working cash proceeded to argue, loud enough for me to hear in the cosmetic isle, as to who should help me. When the cashier came over she was absolutely no help at all.Very disappointed and won’t be back to this particular store.

Do NOT get your passport photo here. We went in and had the photos taken, the lady said it would take 30 minutes and she would call me. We have had this done much quicker but gave her the benefit of the doubt and stayed in the store. Two times she took photos and printed them for people right away. And still we waited.Finally, 40 minutes later she looked up and said, "What is your last name again?" And pulled an envelope with our pictures. She never called, and never told us even though we were standing right there the whole time. Never again.

Do not order pictures here! They wouldn’t let me print pictures of my own wedding because I didn’t have the photographers release on hand. Costco is much better.

Stopped in this evening to get one thing. The cashier who was sitting down when I walked in. It’s the same cashier whenever I come to this Walgreens at night. Frankly, I’m perplexed as to how he’s still an employee. He is so rude. He was stating to the customer ahead of me how they’re understaffed. I’m confused as to why he needs to sit down the whole shift...especially when the store is so understaffed. I don’t remember his name however he was working tonight, constantly sitting down, rude, brown hair, middle aged...I’m sure you can think of the employee I’m referring to. I might try to visit the store earlier...but I really don’t want to deal with him anymore.

Cannot recommend the pharmacy at this location at all. Staff was rude and didn’t seem to care about their customers. Purchased some Walgreens brand Claritin D from the counter and the pharmacy tech accepted the prompt on the touch screen regarding the STATE AND FEDERAL LAW that this product is tied to for me without letting me read it at all - that isn’t right. There’s a HyVee across the street and another Walgreens at Mills and 50th - I’d suggest going there for pharmacy needs.

This is my third try to get a prescription renewed . It needs a doctor's authorization. Staff are too busy to answer the phone and online won't accept it. Hyvee here I come.
