Some staff is nice but most have a bad attitude. Last trip I watched the cashier get mad and passive aggressive because a woman didn’t speak english and didn’t understand her directions for card payment. This trip I watched the manager yell at 3 employees on the sales floor (very loudly) which I thought was unprofessional.Secondly, the “return policy” is possibly the most inconvenient thing I’ve ever seen. Bought a makeup item from a location 25 minutes away and was told I had to go back there to get a refund because it “would mess up inventory if they didn’t carry the product”, even though they had the exact same item on the shelves at this location.Only had one positive interaction with employees in the last 3 visits… hence the 2 stars.

Manager on duty was really rude and couldn't help me at all. I place an order online for photos, they had been paid for and processed and when I showed up they said they couldn't print them due to nudity. The pictures were of me with my shirt off wearing underwear, no nudity. Then I was tossed back between them and corporate when I called to ask for a refund. The manager kept telling me to call corporate and it was not his problem, even though corporate connected me to the store.

I purchased an item from a Walgreens 2 days ago, it stopped working. I then stop at another Walgreens (the closest one to me at the time/this location) to exchange the item WITH my receipt. Only for them to tell me it is their “policy” that they do not accept items from another location when the back of the receipt says other wise. I then drive 4 minutes to the next closest Walgreens and was able to make my exchange with NO issues.

Odd experience. I went in the store at 6:00PM on March 9, 2024, hours before their published closing time, and was told I had to leave and wasn't allowed to be in the store. I was given no explanation. I believe they have been short staffed recently, but I hope this is errant and not indicative of future service at my local Walgreens.

Pharmacy system is terrible. Constant glitches and errors, but the staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

No fault of the people running the pharmacy, as this is an issue with Walgreens automatic phones in general. The company is saving time on the backs of the consumer. It takes me so much longer to refill a prescription than it did when I could simply talk to someone. There is so much extra "stuff" I have to listen to and it won't stop talking when I've said No multiple times. It's maddening! Then if I do make a mistake and say I'd have another prescription, I get in a loop that I can't get out of so my original prescription doesn't get ordered and I have to start over. At Least, if you want US doing the work for you, make it a little easier.....I'll probably change pharmacies because of it.

Every time I go to this wallgreens they don’t have baskets to put your items in. I get a fraction of what I normally would because I have to carry everything with my hands.

Walgreens needs to address the pharmacy here. Nothing at all against the staff - likely there is not enough of them. Their hours are no longer consistent (closed yesterday and then 2 hours late today) and they are not able to manage even the simplest renewals. For a drugstore next to a college where many rely on them, it's really unacceptable. And their automated phone service is a disaster.

Tried to get my sons perscription refilled. For 3 weeks they told me they ordered more. Then they said they called his doctor to transfer to another Walgreens but instead they just closed the order and told me nothing until i called for an update. Last time i refilled it took 3 weeks. Im now working with another Walgreens to get my child his medication.

Having my own difficulties in my shoulders and back, I ask at the cashier if someone would bring up and put in my car a case of spring water. The woman answering my request was elderly, portly and needed a cart to walk around. Normally in order to do any job you have to be able to lift 15 pounds. I am unable to do that, thats why I'm not working. I'm sure that it was impossible for her to do that as well but no one thought about getting someone who is capable. We awkwardly stood around until a nice customer offered to help me. Walgreens should not depend on customer to provide a service.

As a Drake student, this is the most convenient pharmacy to go to, as it is walking distance. However, I dread the monthly refill of my prescription as the pharmacy staff consistently take 15-25 minutes for a simple pick up. I have been left standing at the register with no one acknowledging me for 5-10 minutes at a time. The staff appears unorganized and inattentive to customers. Even when there have been 3 staff members present I have been left waiting alone. Only thing keeping me there is convienence, otherwise I highly suggest CVS.

Several of the Pharmacists know me and my medicines on sight. They confirm by birthday and address, but they are already holding my medicine. Almost all have suffered from my mood swings and they still greet me with a smile. Just plain old good people!

Place is kind of dirty. Stuff is always out of stock for extended periods. Pharmacy is really slow. Often a line in front. Overpriced frozen pizza. But cheap to okay priced booze.

Average Walgreens you know they have pretty much everything you need groceries medicine pharmacy soft drinks cigarettes very convenient places to stop and get everything you need in one go

Pharmacy is terrible. Everywhere is understaffed right now but they seriously lack communication with customers. I waited an hour just to be told I need to show my insurance card for my prescription to be filled and then has to wait another 45 minutes.

Called pharmacy at 10:30 am today. Was on hold for 10+ minutes with a repeating message that there was 1 caller ahead of me. Finally disconnected and called store to see if the pharmacy was open. I was connected to a line that rang for 5+ minutes before I have up and disconnected.. Transferring my rx to CVS.

I come here all the time because I’m a Drake student. You will meet some of the sketchiest people possible at the location, and you will always be guaranteed a 10 minute wait to check.

Store and pharmacy has no internet & is closed. We are answering phone calls & recommend transferring Rxs to nearest Walgreens at this time.

tried to get some information from the 'manager' when she came in from smoking outside the front door she only shook her head as she walked away from me like she had more important things to do than listen to my question about the pharmacy and problems with the phone lines As CVS pharmacy tried 7 times unsuccessfully to get my wife's my wife's prescription transferred
