I’ve been a maxinsta since they opened over 20 years age, Can always find interesting things here from clothes to shoes, food to pet supplies and bedding to kitchen wares. Most of their stock is past season or overstock but I always find something I need/like. It’s not often I leave without finding something. It’s usually a pretty busy place. I’m glad there a three stores nearby. Each store has a little bit different items.its never the same thing twice. If you see something you like, buy it. Odds are it won’t be there when you come back.

I gave it 4 stars because it was two days before Christmas and obviously, the lines were going to be long.The store looked like it had taken a beating with some broken items in it. I work retail, though, and know how disrespectful and entitled the crowds can be. Prices are pretty good, some quality is questionsble but i'd love to come back after the holiday. Their unique selections make up for a lot!

I’ve been coming to TJ Maxx since I was fairly young and always enjoyed coming. However recently I’ve felt their selection is lacking and their prices have really increased. Which I can somewhat get past as it appears to be the new norm. However what I cannot get past is the absolutely rude service that one person in particular provides. You have Lupe always at the front working the register and she is by far the rudest person. Shes always has a horrible look on her face, she ignores customers is NEVER friendly when she has to actually do her job and interact with customer. I would highly suggest you find someone new to be up front as her manners are lacking and really makes you not want to come back to the location.

After leaving another TJ Maxx location in tears after dealing with the worst customer service I’ve dealt with, I came back to the store (this one) I originally made the purchase from 2 weeks ago and explained the issue of trying to return new items with receipt, which brought tears to my eyes at how hurtful that situation had been at other location. The manager here was beyond kind, caring and compassionate and said she’d get it taken care of personally, and did, even though it took some work! I could have hugged her I was so thankful for her kindness she exemplified.

University Ave. Store is horribly understaffed/mismanaged.The staff they do have all screw around too much. Checkers need to CHAT LESS - CHECKOUT MORE!Returns and purchases are done in the same line, which is RIDICULOUS!Poorly managed store. It’s a joke.

No one at the check outs about 40 ppl in line. Wont be stopping here again. Was very upset and walked out leaving all our items. Bad staffing and management for this to happen.

Tj Maxx was fun, but they have drastically reduced the amount of make up and facial moisturizers that they sell. Also, the clothing was more toward young aged high school kids. Pretty different in the past few months. Hope it's changes back.

Love the prices of items that are offered here. Cleanliness of the store is a huge turn off though. Walking through the isles, I was disappointed (and disgusted) to see a half eaten item from the shelf sitting there as well as an opened half drank beverage. Sad to see people take advantage of places and steal. It's not uncommon to purchase something for personal use that has been opened and partially used by shoppers. I purchased an Olay facial lotion and got home to find that the box had already been opened and half of the lotion was missing from the container. I reported it to the store at the time of the discovery, but was not compensated in anyway. I will be sure to check things over more thoroughly prior to purchasing again.

I don't go hear to often but I do when I want to buy an expensive item at a great price. It could be cologne or pans.I have also found college gear at incredibly low prices. I would definately check it out to find discount deals.

Went to TJ's yesterday, they always have pretty good buys if you have the time and patience to stop and look. Found some wonderful clearance items, snacks that I've never tried of course had to buy. Love trying different things and they normally have a variety. The only downfall is they sometimes take so long for you to pay for your purchases.

Right now, all their clearance racks are marked with a yellow balloon-- some great end-of-season items still available.Love this place and their deals! Always find something that's a bargain and they have some great quality items.

Went in hoping to purchase my fav shampoo and conditioner, Biolage. Total bummer, they were sold out. Never had that happen before. I'll keep checking back though. They usually have great deals on most everything.

It's definitely a store that always keeps you guessing. They don't always have the same brands, but whatever you're looking for, you'll likely find something Similar to it at TJMaxx for a reasonable price. It's not a very fancy place, but they do have some dress clothes there. I went shopping there with my grandmother and we got some very nice dresses that were much more budget-friendly than the clothes we saw at the mall.

I asked cashier 1114 to look at a different store for a size jacket, in the process of calling the stores the other Hispanic employee stopped her and told her in front of me to stop, that I had to call on my own bc they had a big line and I had to do it on my own, I asked 1114 if I needed the tag information when making the call, she said she could write down the info 4 me, and the Hispanic said ... no just say the light yellow jacket.. so I asked 1114 to write it down for me, and she did nicely and professional, I just hope the hispanic wasn't the manager bc whe was up front but never at a cashier with customers, and for her to give bad orders or bad customer service to another employee or customer. Also a couple people broke merchandise twice and no employee came to clean it, very unsafe for employees or customers.

You can browse for hours, just get lost on all the selection of goods. Prices are typical of a discounted store. I felt some items could be more heavily discounted. Some items were broken beyond repair. Overall, I liked it. Jewelry dept was the only place they helped, customer service could be better.

Very clean and organized. A pretty big selection compared to other TJMaxxes that I've been to. Big selection of beauty/hair stuff and it all looked very clean and not tested by customers. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful, and it was just a really pleasent experience. The prices were super cheap too, even less than what I was expecting for new things like this. So much high quality athletic stuff, too.

Very, very disappointed in today's trip. There are legitimately almost no men's jeans here! I literally saw about 10 pair TOTAL. That's it. That's just craziness. Nobody can think to get more in? Also, there were only 3 sizes to choose from. I have no idea why this is, it's just sad.

Typically offers clearance selection. Multiple cashiers make for minimal wait times. Fitting room available and allows multiple items.
