Would not recommend getting a storm door window replaced here. Very poor workmanship. When I sent pictures to management they denied even doing the work.

Love my local Ace hardware. The employees are always helpful and nice. I like that they recognize me when I come in, I feel like it's my own personal hardware store. They stayed open for me an extra 25 minutes after closing while I picked out the exact paint I wanted and they mixed it up and it was perfect! They never complained or rushed me or treated me any different; and that's unusual in today's society. Love love them!

I needed an ignition key for my RV and when I got there I noticed they had expanded tremendously in their key and lock department. I made mention and they said they had partnered with a locksmith company that went under and it was bought out. He said that it enlarged that department by 70% and it was easy to see that that was true. He made my key quickly and it was even cheaper than other keys I had made there before. I'll go back there again.

At 4:30 I walk in the door and the rude woman yelled we close at 5pm we close at 5pm! It's not like it was 4:55 when I walked in the door. Very rude and unprofessional. She was also very rude to others who needed assistance. She needs retrained in customer service.

They have some stuff but seemed to be out of a lot of stuff and doesn't get restocked that much and the prices are kind of high the staff doesn't quite know all that they have and they're not willing to look in the back to see if they have more the cash register guy was amazing

My husband and I have lived in this neighborhood for many years and we have never gone into this store and gotten anything but "above and beyond" service. It's like a small town hardware store. Not only do we get amazing service, but great conversation with staff and it's so nice not to have to make the drive to one of the bigger stores where it's often hard to find what you're looking for. We're so happy with our neighborhood ACE and all their super duper small town, down home employees!!!!

Can't give 5 stars only because I miss Bill Wheeler(owner) and the "good old days" atmosphere at Highland Park Hardware. But life goes on and George(Ace owner) has worked hard to bring as much of the neighborhood hardware store feel that you could possibly get from a chain store. He's in there working right along side of his employees.They have a good selection of hardware needs and an entire back room for really cool and unique home garden things, a lot of which are made by Highland Park friends and neighbors.Thanx George! I for one appreciate you and all your hard work.

Small store big help. Very helpful people who work there. Right from the moment you walk in. I was able to get the screws I needed. I was also there to ask about a specialty tool that they didn't have and don't carry and total time in store was like 5 minutes. That and this location is close to home.

My favorite hardware store! The store itself has all of the offerings you would expect but there are a few extras that make it special. First, when you walk to the back of the store, you’ll find that there’s a whole OTHER store, which has some of the most amazing finds! Then, there’s some great sales and clearance items and last but definitely not least, most of the employees are so helpful and pleasant!

Ace is the place! Very helpful and friendly staff! Everything you need from grilling to paint and even yard art! Beautiful hand painted telavera pottery, beautiful wind chimes and if you need a spare key .. they got you covered.

Rented a shampoo machine, all the trimmings.. supposed to return it the day of the storm.. they were very accommodating letting me keep it an extra 12 hours AFTER their power returned, which was several days AFTER the storm! My power, luckily, was restored within 10 hours! Just GOOD, HONEST people!

Checked on Google said they were open till 8, ran there really quick arrived at 7:05 the door was locked. I noticed the hours on the door said 7, must be winter hours. A nice lady opened the door and asked if I just needed something quick. I nodded and said just a few bolts, she walked me to them and helped me find what I needed and then rang me up. Kudos to them for opening the door for a small 5 dollar sale.
