I do love a Jersey Mike’s sub. I was thrilled to have a location open up near me (WDM, IA). I have been several times and have been disappointed with how long it takes through the drive through. It has improved from my experience earlier this year of waiting over 20 minutes as the only car in the line. Today, however, my sub came loaded with Mayo, but nothing else. Very disappointed.

I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with the soft drink. The soft drink machine was out of syrup and did not stop running. The girl from the counter simply told me to push back the metal part behind the dispenser which ended up with me getting my hand soaked. I was with a co worker who had ordered at the same time as me and he finished his food while I was still waiting. It took 30mins for my regular sandwich to be done. When I open it, there were onions slices that were so hard that I couldn’t bite through or break them when they slid out of the sandwich. A sandwich that is ALWAYS made with chopped onions…. I also asked for jalapeños that were not there. I didn’t complain at time the time because I had 15mins to eat and be back to work nor did I have the confidence that they would make it correctly. It is yet another establishment where you tip before getting your food made only to have it come out poorly made and wrong by high schoolers who would much rather stand around in the back cackling than actually do their job.

It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Everytime I’ve gone to this location it’s been a 20+ minute wait in the drive through. Only star is for the gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sandwiches are made on a separate line to eliminate cross contamination

Ordered 2 wraps no lettuce. Both had lettuce. Tried to pick out most of it, but one wrap had lots!! $10 is a lot to spend on something when your order isn't correct and it goes in the garbage. If it wasn't across town I would have driven back, but ordering something with only meat and cheese shouldn't be hard to remember

I was so excited to get Jersey Mikes after having it in Colorado multiple times. I went through the drive thru and asked for a sec to look at the menu. I could hear the worker sigh, like I was inconveniencing him. After about 30-45 seconds I began to order but nobody replied. I waited another minute or two and then heard a different worker respond with “now we’ll need a sec.” I thought this was odd, but oh well I know food service can get busy. I waited 2-3 minutes then finally I was able to order. I pulled to the window and sat for a minute waiting for someone to open it. I got my drink, paid, and had my sandwich shoved to me without a word said. No greeting or have a nice day. I was the only car in the drive through the whole time at 11:00 am. I understand being busy, but it is never okay to be rude to a customer. I will not be returning.

I came in with about 10 minutes left. I had a simple order I pay with the card you know to not make it difficult to redo account with cash. I did not get greeted when I walked into the store. I did not get greeted email when they turned around to ask me what I wanted. I could tell that they didn't want me there at that time. I work in customer service in half of 15 years. Same place there if you don't want to be there till 9:00 ask to get off at 8:00. But that was a poor display of customer service but the sandwich was good.

We walked in about 15 minutes before the store was closing and ordered for 5 people. The 3 people working were wonderful! They laughed and joked with us and had such great attitudes. It was so refreshing to see such smiling faces and friendly people.I hope they get recognized for their great service. Thanks again for making our late night meal great!

2nd time here. First time food was mediocre at best. Thought I'd give it another try... 20 minutes waiting in the drive thru is absurd!! Just 2 cars ahead of me and ten minutes to go from ordering to the window, I'm thinking I'll get my food soon. But no, another 10 minutes elapses until I get my food. No one at the window during this time for me to speak to. No explanation or apologies for the delay... that's just bad customer service. Apologies for my rudeness shown to the worker but I was very hangry at this point! Food is still meh.

Busy store, but for good reason. The staff here is delightful. Positive attitudes make this sandwich shop a wonderful place to get a great sandwich. We can never get enough from here and will be back when we are in town.Parking: Parking out front is tight but there is a lot to the west that has plenty of room.

Soggy and sloppy. Worst location, Merle Hay location is 1000 times better. Went to this location twice because I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but both times the sandwiches were haphazardly thrown together, soggy and squished. I also wanted and ice water one of the times and they tried to charge me like $3 for it. I canceled the water. I'm sad this location is so sloppy and gross because it's really close to my job, but I won't be wasting $20 on a soggy, disappointing sandwich again.

This is perhaps the worst location of Jersey Mike’s or really any sandwich shop I have ever been to. I was doordashing and sandwich was 15 minutes late. Employees were unhelpful and rude. This location needs serious help and needs to get their act together. Go to the other West Des Moines location or honestly somewhere else entirely. It’s a shame the service was so bad because their sandwiches are actually quite good.

When showing up I expect to order anything off of the menu, but when I showed up, within business hours, I was told "their stove isn't working so they cannot do hot sandwiches." I am disgusted. If their stove isn't working there should be signs saying that. But there were not, which leads me to believe that their employees are just lazy. They did not want to have to clean anything past closing, which can lead to loss of business. I understand that there is an employee shortage, but at least hire ones that will STAY OPEN UNTIL THE NUMBERS MATCH ON THE DOOR.

My husband just picked up lunch for us. His sandwich was fine. My #1 should be BLT. Unfortunately, they forgot the bacon. This is the third time was have stopped for subs, the second time they messed up our order. We won't be back.

Got a #8 club the bread was hard like day old bacon was almost nonexistent rest of ingredients was very light. Had same sub at a different location and the sub was great
