We have used the HyVee Pharmacy on 51st Street in West Des Moines for years. The staff has always met or exceeded our expectations.

I would give them worse than a star if I could. Be prepared to wait a long long long long long long long long long time in line. Did I say long time? Be prepared to wait a long long long long long time. There is no reason to wait a long long long long long long long time in line. Maybe the pharmacist thinks of it as job security. If you have to wait a long time in line then they will have a job. Plan on taking my medicine and go somewhere else. If you have all the time in the world and don't mind waiting a long long long long long long long long time in line then go here. If you value your time then DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have always been very polite, super informative, and very helpful with any questions I've had. They are willing to take the time to search the other Hy-Vee pharmacies, or research other options if they are out of a certain medication. I really appreciate having them right across the street.
