If you are looking for a place to take your pets you will not find a better place to go! Dr. Forret and all of his staff are so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They helped answer any question I had and never got annoyed if I asked them 100 different questions. The people here are great and they truly care about the people they serve and our furry family members. If you are looking for the best vet you could possibly ask for you have come to the right place. My little pup Lola was not the biggest fan of going to the vet but they always made her comfortable and gave me peace of mind and are a huge reason I got to spend more time with my lil best friend then other vets estimated. Her and I are forever grateful for having them in our corner during her golden years, and when it was finally time to say goodbye they also made that process as comfortable as possible for us both. Thank you Highland Park Animal Hospital for all you did for Lola and I! 🐕🌈

Amazing animal hospital! I take my pitty there and he is a little bit reactive and scared due to past trauma but he is still very well taken care of there! You can tell these people have a deep passion for animals. They're super gentle and kind. The vet technician is amazing!

Let one of their workers still. My brother's dog when he was sick with pancreatic cancer.Told us they were with an adopted family when that was out right lie. Instead of checking facts, they drew their own conclusion.Which resulted in unnecessary pain. They caused my brother. If you want to rescue and help animals that are neglected, make sure they're neglected

Dr.Forret has been our vet for years and he and his staff has help us through the difficult times. He now is taking care of our rescue dog, Canilla. She became ill and he knew immediately what was wrong and set a treatment plan for her.Thank you all for your care and concern.

Dr. Forret and his team are absolutely outstanding! In the midst of my dog having new and scary health issues, they’ve been incredibly thorough, compassionate, and helpful. I never left feeling unheard or that my dog wasn’t cared for. It’s been a challenging year for my dog (cancer, eye problems, and degenerative hips), but they have helped through the entire process. They’ve given the most diligent care to my animal, and have been beyond supportive to me too. The attention to detail and knowledge is unparalleled, and the cost is more than fair. The service and care is the best around; this will be the only place that I take my animals. I cannot speak highly enough of Highland Park Animal Hospital.

Dr. F took wonderful care of Ferentz! He answered all my questions and offered suggestions. So many vets are unwilling to do that with my allergy monster lol. The staff was super sweet as well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone with a high maintenance animal!

Always feel at home with Dr. Forret and his staff. One on one care and they treat each pet as an individual family member. I never feel like a number and everything they do is valuable. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the care they give.

I have been going here for over a decade for my animals, and they have been amazing. They immediately diagnosed a grain allergy in my American Bulldog that had been misdiagnosed at three other hospitals. Their diagnosis made a massive change in her quality of life, with a diet change and treatment removing her rashes and giving her several years of life she would not have had otherwise. I also used to take my cat here. Both have since passed, but thanks to Highland Park Animal Hospital I was able to be there with them as they peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge.This is the only place I trust for even a basic nail trim on my Chihuahua, and will also be the vet for the cats I recently adopted. Even after moving to a new area it is well worth the commute for those who want the best treatment for their pets. The staff is incredibly kind and caring. They help to make visits as stress free as possible, for both me and my fur babies.

It's all about the money and not the pet. I guess if you want people to know. I called about having my pet youthanized because she had cancer and the treatments weren't working anymore and she was in pain. I was using ISU and they couldn't get me in to get it done so I called here since it was close. I just wanted the dignity of her out of her misery and was told since I wasn't a previous customer call somewhere else. No empathy no let's see what we can do. Just we don't want you since you didn't spend money here before. Next vet I called didn't care if I had been there before they just wanted to help. I had no problem spending any amount of money to get it done. They wanted to refund the exam fee but I didn't want them too. They were everything I need done. I even had all my paper work to show what we were working with. Spin it how you want but I was on speaker phone with my family sitting around me and they couldn't believe the service.

Our beloved veterinarian passed away unexpectedly. The care that Dr. Michael Anderson provided was exceptional and I knew that finding a replacement would be difficult. So I chose to try Highland Park Animal Hospital with Dr. Forret. I am very happy with my decision. One of our fur babies is diabetic and was in need of insulin. The Highland Park Animal Hospital got us an appointment right away. I was very pleased with the care given by Dr. Forret and found he cares about animals very much the same way Dr. Michael Anderson did. Granted we have only had one visit with Dr. Forret and his staff but I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
