Lights are on but no one is home? I came to sell an iPhone and all the lights are on including the open sign but the gates are closed? The business hours don’t match up to google and they don’t follow what’s posted? It’s 1pm, says they open at 11?

I walked in the GameStop I asked the guy what he had for PS4 controller, he said he’s all out let me check, walked in the back room, pulled the box out of used ones and gave me the price of what it would cost for a new one, scammers taking advantage of his inventory! Crude move! And I’ll never come back!

It's getting to the point where they don't open at a decent hour they open whenever they have someone in and they don't come in at a reasonable hour they come in whatever they please and they don't open the door until they're ready there is no opening at 12:00 or 11:00 or 10:00 whatever their hours say it's whenever they want to open their doors is when they're open and whenever they're closed is when they close there is no set schedule anymore apparently they're going off of what they want to do and not the scheduling to set by corporate do not come to this GameStop

It had the worst game selections I've ever seen in any Gamestop. There were 2 ir 3 game system types and zero older games for Xbox. Not much fun while Christmas shopping a few days ago. I'd never go back.

Horrible store went to get pre-order for Final fantasy today drove over an hour and the store wasn't even open so couldn't get the game. They just need to shut this location down. To many issues with late openings and lack of employees.

Great looking store with a lot of nice displays and times of cool stuff. Great trade-in value on my merch. Great service from the guy at the counter, who was patient, friendly and helpful even though I came in just before closing with a moderately complex transaction (I'd never know from his behavior). He was clearly juggling a lot of things, including pre-closing stuff and at least two calls that came in while he was helping me. I would have been kind of a mess, lol.Only complaint is that I had a really hard time getting in touch with this store to check on an item that appeared to be in stock online- whenever I called it was either busy or nobody picked up.When I called another store they let me know about the limited hours here, which are posted on the door (pictured) but not on the googles or the company website.

A good store itself is pretty good and most of the employees are kind, but the manager has been nothing but condescending and rude whenever an issue is presented. Also, their hours seem to change without warning - my husband checked online beforehand to make sure they were open and they were not. This has happened more than once. Again, when asked about it, the manager spoke to him as if he were stupid and told him “it was on their front door” when there is no way we could have known that beforehand as we live a significant drive from the store. Pretty frustrating, especially since this is the only place I believe we have ever experienced this.

I have been at gamestop before for an xbox power brick, and it's worked perfectly. I went again today for a xbox network adapter. The app told me they had it, but, like most stores, they "miscounted." The worker there was working really, really hard to find it. 5 stars for the worker, but only 3 stars because of the miscalculation.

Went to go buy a PS5, accessories and games. However the store was closed with a sign that says they stepped away at 3:53PM and will be back at 4:53PM (random times). Guess you missed out on a decent size sale. Jay’s down the road got the sale instead.

When they’re open it’s a great place to shop with great friendly employees, there have been a couple times where I’ve been out here that it’s been closed during regular hours but that is no different than most places in this economy

I love gamestop. I do. Been going here since this place has been open. From a review a while back i said they didn't game much of dbz tmnt power rangers and all that good stuff if your info that stuff as a youngin. But since then they did step up a little bit. They need more dbz but it seems like there getting there. Staff is always cool and friendly and try to help the best they can. Selling things to them well.....just depends on what it is. If it is newer seems like you get more but retro doesn't feel the same. But like i said this place is a good place to look at and see what they got going on

My husband stopped to purchase a gift for our son today. There was no air conditioning in the store. He was told they have been without ac for about a month. It's over 100 degrees today in Des Moines Ia. Game Stop, could you please treat your employees better than cattle? They don't deserve to work in these conditions. The staff was pleasant and upbeat despite the uncomfortable conditions. Team 5 stars! Corporate get them some fans and portable air conditioners.

Very rude for just asking for a copy of my receipt and was told if I wanted one I would have to get it threw corporate office then suck on the phone for almost two hours just to get a copy of a receipt

The cashier was quick. He also explained the limitations of 2 of my second hand gamesThere was also an associate on the floor answering questions if you needed help. A good shopping experience.

This has got to be the worst GameStop in Iowa. Not only are your hours ridiculous but whatever I do show up at your posted opening hours you're not even open you haven't even shown up yet. You need to keep proper business hours! For God's sakes your business act like it.

Manager was rude. Must be a left winger. Was hung up on wearing a mask in his store. I conceal carry and it's against the law for me to wear a mask. He wanted me to break the law. I left the store and won't be back.
