When I am in the area, I always like to stock up on their fresh vegetables and fruits as well as some of the best meat cuts in the meat section. The staff is always courteous and very knowledgeable on supplying the customer with the best options for meats — this is good for the Fareway Brand — thank’s Beaverdale Fareway for setting high standards for customer service.

First time going into this Fareway. It is a small place but it has about almost everything you would need. I went to the meat counter and was helped by an employee right the way. You can do some grocery shopping while going out around the beaverdale area. The store is nice and clean and employees were friendly.

Place is awesome! Only gripe is the check out is wonky. But I did get what I wanted quickly from the meat counter, got some more pellets for the smoker, they actually have a selection.

So great to have this store central in the neighborhood. Prices are a little higher for the convenience, produce is decent. Surprisingly good selection for how small the store is. Half the store is alcohol and meat which seems excessive and it would be more useful and practical to use that space for other groceries. The wine and beer selection isn't particularly good, though there are better liquors than I had expected.

We go out of our way to visit / order from the Beaverdale Fareway Meat Market! This is one of few places in the Des Moines Metro where you can find Boar's Head Lunchmeat (freshly cut). It lasts much longer than other grocer's lunchmeat! The pick-up service is amazing every time. Staff is all super friendly and helpful. Fruits / Veggies never disappoint, and usually less than Hy-Vee. Love this place. We will continue to frequent and recommend to others!

Love the store, loving having it in the neighborhood! Has so many options when you consider the size of it. Good pricing too! I literally stop buy and buy exactly what I need for dinner every day. So awesome. Love the self check out.I just wish the cashiers would ask if customers needed help on the self check out instead of just assisting. Kind of defeats the purpose of self check out if someone else is checking me out.

Great selection of meats. Went in there for some beef chuck and beef fat awhile back. I was told that I would have to come next day for the beef fat to be cut and set to the side for me but since I didn’t need much the butcher cut some up for me! Such a nice experience

I've been in the store several times. I like their fresh fruit section. And the cubed chicken breast is a huge help with cooking.

Went this opening morning and was pleasantly surprised at the selection! It's essentially a mini fareway with their full service meat counter. I love that you can get any veggies, cheese, bread, other groceries you may need for dinner there as well. It seems that sort of selection was what we were promised with the Fast and Fresh and it did not deliver. I hope they keep up the nice variety.

Awesome addition to Beaverdale. Deli made me a delicious roast beef sandwich. Great selection of fresh meats and so much more. Nice deli with delicious options. Also grocery items. More than I expected.Extremely nice people. Welcome to the neighborhood!!

We made a visit to thus meat market to see the difference from a Fareway store meat counter.They did have different cuts of meat, plus they also have Boars Head deli meat. Along with bar b que meat. They have a great selection of meats for those who love to grill and smoke meats.The store part reminds my of a corner grocery store.Staff was friendly and store was clean. Parking is plenty once you figure how to get to the parking lot. Prices are higher than your neighborhood Fareway Store.

Beautiful small fairway, but can you make it move obvious to racially profile me. I was followed by an older white lady through out my visit. It was my first time there and last I didn't even have a big purse or any purse for her to think I would hide or steal something. Cashier was unhappy to see us as she looked us up and down probably making sure old lady didn't miss something The sad part is not did I only notice but also my kids who were shopping with me tonite.That's why I will remain a hyvee shopper they are more friendly and kind to their customers ALL customers.

Hoover Post prom wants to recognize Fareway meat market for their generous donation of gift cards for our student raffle at our Post Prom event last Saturday. Okay I want to love this joint but I think this site was designed for 40-something yuppies who suddenly have friends dropping by.Also, it's billed as a meat market and while they had a couple high end cuts I really expected more. I don't know. Just wasn't blown away.It's pry the most expensive Fareway, tho.

I was really looking forward to having another choice when it came to buying fresh meat. Opening day prices were reasonable. Not so anymore! Most items in the store are over priced. Makes you think you are shopping at the other high prices stores in the neighborhood. Cash registers at store are messed up. Will think twice about going back. :(

Fareway you completely hit a home run with this store! The way the store sits on the lot to design of the building. From the parking lot into the main entrance I literally was in awe. The way the store is laid out is convenient and practical. The isles are well lit and wide enough to accommodate shoppers. Did I mention there full service meat counter. Followed up by a deli counter. Which we had to try the hickory smoked pulled pork and deviled egg potatoesalad. Fareway well done!Happy in Beaverdale!🤔🤗🙂👍👍

Its nice having a little grocery in the area, the meat counter staff were amazing and the selection of bbq and hot sauce is amazing. However the huge down is the staff member that continued to follow me and stick her nose up. I felt like i was a bother and didnt belong....maybe try asking if someone needs help instead of assuming ill intent... : / will probably not return due to the hawk
