Two weeks ago, we tried to purchase some electronic devices (e.g. headphones and micro usb cables) at this store. The electronics shelf was almost empty, and we could not purchase what we intended.We came back today, hoping the shelves would finally be stocked, but they were even more empty than they were two weeks ago. Then there were cartloads of boxes of product that had not been put on the shelf. Another customer who was ahead of me had the same problem. They wanted to purchase a product, but were told by the Family Dollar associates that they'd have to come back later after they get the shelves stocked.I am not waiting any longer to buy merchandise at this store. I will find another store that has the product I need. You would have gotten $20 more out of me, if you simply kept your shelves stocked. I can't buy what is not on your shelves.

My 4 yr old child really needed to go to the bathroom and we were on a walk and we figured family dollar would have one cause we were closest to it and we went and asked if she can go to the bathroom and they were just standing there and said there's no available bathroom. If I were working somewhere and someone came in with a child literally holding her area and crossing her legs I would allow them to use it. I've worked in customer service for 9 years and idk im just not impressed and will not ship here from the interaction we got.

I had stopped by several different times, several months ago, and found a sign on door stating it was closed for various reasons, I stopped trying to shop there Glad I did the other day, I got inside & it looks wonderful inside, very stocked &organized.

I hadn't been here in over a year because of the rude employees and how unorganized and messy it was. When I went in recently they had organized everything, new staff that were friendly. And the places immaculate condition for the 1st time in YEARS.

Horrible store! Employees are rude!! I went to the 14th st and Douglas location yesterday. I walked in, started looking at stuff in the 1st aisle, a customer came in and asked the cashier if she knew where the hangers were and the cashier simply said "nope"..... The customer said, "ok, I guess I'll find them myself"... I immediately left.. I don't think I've really ever had a good experience at this store but to be so blatantly rude to a customer asking for help!! I will not spend my money at a place like that. I Will not be back! Zero stars!!!

I will never step foot in this place again. Neither will my family or friends. I stopped by after work to get some laundry detergent. No cashier was up front. I waited probably five minutes and was told "she's on her way up here" Someone rang the bell. Waited another five minutes and the lady came to the front of the store to get something, saw me there, and went back to the back of the store. The bell was rang again and i heard her say "you don't need to ring that bell again, i see you!: and she STILL didn't come up to ring me up. I set the laundry detergent down and left. Went to Dollar General and was in and out in two minutes. They will get my money from now on. and my friends and familys.

Jackie is VERY rude!!!!She started hollering at me because my $$ was not loaded to my card.She also called me stupid to another customer not knowing I was still in the store.Once she found out I was on the phone reporting hervto Corporate she started yelling at me to get out of the store and called the police on me.Other Managers I spoke to at 2 other Family Dollar stores say they get numerous complaints about her and are wondering why she is still employed with the company.The store is FILTHY!!!! Instead of being so rude she should have been cleaning and organizing the store since she's the manager.

I’m just trying to figure out why they are supposed to close at 9pm and it’s 7:17 and the man is telling me they are closed because they came in at 7am🤔 since when does an establishment close just because their workers came in early and if they are going to be closing at 7pm then they need to change the time on their door. This is the most ghetto store besides university that I have been in and I will not be coming back here. This is ridiculous

Staff is nice, but I found a old curdled milk jug out of the fridge and gave it to the cashier because it was stinking up the place. They had no idea it was there! Some things are out of order and aren’t put back properly.

The store was very cluttered hadn't been stuff put away yet you couldn't get down the aisles cuz there's too many boxes the lady at the register was texting on her phone so she stopped helping me to do that and then she finished helping me and she was not pleasant at all.

This store is the most unorganized dirty store I've ever seen. There is stuff everywhere you can barely get down isles. If your gonna run a place of business you might make sure it's fully staffed before you open the doors. I say POOR MANAGEMENT! !!

Terrible , This is a very racist comment but true. Store behind Casey's at East 14th and Euclid in Des Moines Iowa.Virtually every time I go there is a car parked illegally in front of store in street. Surprise , the drier is always black. Imagine that¡!!!!!!!¡!!!

Ghetto, I went to buy a five dollar shirt and the cashier didn't even have the sensor thing to remove the sensor . so I couldn't purchase the shirt . I was told to buy the 👕 and go down the street to have the sensor removed

Like every family dollar, this place is garbage.. I've seen trash stacked floor to ceiling in there back room. The dumpster area overflowing with trash, and garbage blowing around their entire property.

Worse customer service I have Gone through told the lady at the calender that the prices incorrect she argued with me on and I asked her to go back and show me and I was incorrect I was looking at the item next to it there's like Tojo's $9.50 then she tells me to get out of her store tells me when I ask who their general manager is get the Out of my store is the name of the supervisor will be contacting corporate office and leaving a review with the better business
