I would give zero stars no option for that. I went into dollar general today. It was my 1st time in it after their so called remodeling and horrible experience. The cashier male tall made me feel very uncomfortable he started laughing out of nowhere. No customer interaction no hi, no how are you doing today, no did you find everything okay. I used to come to this dollar general before the remodeling started I definitely will not go back to that store again I will drive extra distance to go to another store. Definitely not a good outcome for this store. I also sent my husband to dollar general today same store and he also said that he will not go back to that store.

every time i buy from this store i ask whoevers cashing me out how they are and almost always get no answer they just look you like youre crazy lmao. ive worked it, i know customer service sucks but these workers are just rude and off-putting.

The 63rd St Dollar General has really turned around in the last year. The shelves are consistently stocked, the store is clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. In the metro area this is by far the best location.

I came to make a purchase however the cashier has no courtesy nor can he see. Not sure of the quality of employees guess they was looking for a body. Snatching folks money is not professional by any means!

Doors wide open at 11:45 am on a Thursday and being told by staff they are closed! While typing this 5 other people have been told they are closed. Not cool

I was working for them for about a month and a half until my manager shawn tells me I’m off the schedule but I’m not fired, it’s been 3 weeks and no call or nothing I wouldn’t recommend trying to work here he also cut my hours a lot and I wasn’t getting hours like the rest of the people who worked there, I wonder why…. On to the next job

Absolutely love this place. Great stuff for great prices and the staff are very helpful. One of the associates went out of her way to help me even when she was supposed to be going on break. I've never had a bad experience here and never been disappointed in a product. Will always choose this place over other dollar stores.

I love the friendly staff and they are so helpful. I carry what my husband calls a duffle bag this is the only place I go to that the staff doesn't stalk me around while I shop. Any where else they make me feel like a criminal because I have a big purse and follow me like I don't notice. All because of my purse it's not right and I feel they are quick to be judgemental and I feel unwelcomed at other places.

I don't shop there often because you could actually closer to my house but when I do go to that one the people that work there are always so polite that's helpful and I just love going there

I bought a loaf of bread there because Walmart was sold out of their own brand bread and a package of bowls with lids and tree ornament hooks for Christmas tree good prices and clean compared to Family Dollar on Army Post road

If it wS the D G on 9th st. It is a very dirty place & the employees stand around playing with their phones instead of cleaning the place. Clothed all over the floor, floors are dirty. I will not be going back there again.

Considering they locked the doors at 5pm or god knows when (I was there at 5pm, so were 7 other people in the 10 minutes I waited) and their sign says open until 8pm, I would not recommend. Just go to the Hyvee accross the street!

The employees are great. Friendly and very helpful. Store is usually clean unless they have the truck stock is out. Great place to shop.
