Feb.22 2023 (1:45pm)Took both my dogs in today as usual. A femal cashier, gave my littlest one in the cart a treat and asked if she could give my German Shepherd one too. I said she need to kneel down and let him approach as he had some issues with strangers. He went right over and was completely fine. I was so happy that my dog had a positive experience and that a employee took the time to repect my dogs behavioral issues and help me socialize him. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but that meant a lot to me and thougt I should share. Thank you so much.Sensitive Skin and Stomach is up to $89 for a 36# bag now. What's funny is on the label, is Science Diet tries too hide the fact of the inflation price with with an ad gimmick "New Mega-Size Bag". Which is ridiculous considering they used to sell something like 42# (+/-) bags. But that is more on Science Diet than Bomgaars.Best place to buy bags of cracked corn. Only $10 for a 50# bag.6/26/23Went into today and things were rearranged. Not sure if they are doing this with the whole store or not, but what they've done so far is an improvement.

This place is really great. I buy tools there. Power tools and hand tools. They have had really good sales on Dewalt tools recently. They've had storwide discount sales that were pretty good. The selection of hand tools is not that wide of a selection, but the stuff they carry is quality name brands. The sales are good too. The prices on their clothing items aren't very low like the sales on the tools. But they have some nice clothing stuff. They have a wide variety of farm equipment.Yahuah bless you all!!

Never spending my hard earned money here again they steal money if you return something without a receipt! I bought a pair of insulated pants that did not fit. I whent back. They didn't have the size so bought a pair more fitted to my size. (A little cheaper). She typed up the return and it generated lowest sale price of 37 dollars and change I paid 55 and change. Refused to make it right so they basically stole almost 20 dollars from me. It's these little transactions that cause these stores to go put of business. Guess I'll shop online and spend my money anywhere else but there. Done with bomgaars!

They need to fix their Sunday hours on their own Google listing. Drove from Adel to this store to find that they're not open at 8am on Sundays as their listing says.

The place it's self is great most of the staff friendly, but today I encountered Maria I saw pricing on a pair of children's boots as 1 price they rang up definitely I asked why, and another employee and I went back to see we saw and I understood, but Maria decided I didn't understand well enough and to drive it home decided to say "it's like when you buy bigger clothes they're more expensive you should know" I can only assume a comment meant to dig at my size as I'm a bigger person, so I took the boots and left as I was leaving with boots I paid for she then tried to accuse me of steeling the boots. And got mad when another employee corrected her.

Love this place. Just has a little bit of everything. A wonderful place to wander around and check out all the cool things. Of course this is from a man's perspective. Ended up buying a Stihl chainsaw for some limbs that I lost in a storm the previous night. Great service great price. Had everything I needed and several things I didn't know I needed until I saw them. That is the best part.

Bomgaars is my husband's favorite store. It doesn't matter which town. They have a wonderful selection of everything you could want for your home or your ranch or your house. He likes to buy work clothes here. The staff is always helpful. And if you watch for their sales they're awesome.

Great store. I get all my chicken feed and work clothes here. They have a huge selection of Dewalt tools here. They also carry keen shoes and my dogs are welcome here. One of my favorite places.

They have a great selection of tools and other yard and garden products. I get frustrated by other stores limited supplies of products. When I can't find a good selection I go there. It's out of my way but there are times when a product is popular and you can't find it anywhere. I find it there.

Called in looking for a specific style of shoe,the young man I talk to was clueless to what I was looking for.I stopped in walked thru entire shoe department looking for shoe style...The shoe department in this store looked like the Ukraine, looks like a bomb was dropped and no clean up efforts. I found one pair out of the thousands of pairs of shoes but it just wasn't what I was looking for.

Disappointed..... I love going to Bomgaars to see and buy tools I don't need 😁. Especially DeWalt. Their selection is usually the best in town.I hadn't been to this store in awhile but decided to stop and see what was new. I left very disappointed. I found the store to be very disorganized, product out of place and a lot of empty shelves.

Good inventory. one of my pickup truck windows came off the track and a lady clerk came out and held the window up while I taped it so it wouldn't fall back down. This is in 10 degree weather and I did not feel like driving around looking for a glass company with a window down as cold as it was. Very helpful.

They offer a variety of pet foods and supplies for domestic and farm animals. Bomgaars offers many tools and materials for many projects. They always have discounted products and sales going. I've noticed them being busier recently, but you don't have to wait long to check out.

Want to kick someone out due to them closing. Didn’t even have the respect of an employee to ask if I could please hurry up and bring my things I was buying to the front of the store for check out. Straight told me I had to leave because they were closed now. So respect to a potential customer could have made it so much easier versus telling me I had to leave and I couldn’t buy anything. So rude.

We don’t shop here often but was in yesterday to exchange 3 pairs of pants for a different size and got some pretty bad customer service... first of all I called before I went because I wasn’t sure I had my receipt and wanted to know the return policy. The young lady who answered told me I didn’t even need a receipt to exchange. Ended up having my receipt anyways so no worries. Fast forward to going into the store picking out my exchange, waited in line for about 3-4 people. Got up to the register told my story and was asked to let the man behind me go first.... now I work in customer service and I would NEVER do this, I would simply ask for backup. Then finally going to exchange and the woman at the register told me I do need a receipt (I had one) and that no one there would’ve told me that... I informed her what time I called and confirmed the phone number I called. She asked for an ID which was not a big deal but would’ve been nice to be informed that when I previously called and asked the return policy. I then had a line behind me, she asked for backup... then she answered the phone while in the middle of my transaction, now this woman was not unpleasant but I sure as hell was not pleased and she did not give any sympathy just kept stating the policy and that no one told me that. Now this is not the worst thing that could’ve happened but upset me enough that I will not be back to buy 3 pairs of $25 jeans... would much rather spend my money somewhere else. But hopefully this can be used as training to tell your employees how to treat customers how they would want to be treated. (And maybe go over the return policy with all of them.)
