I have used Bosen several times, I recently sent my partner some flowers as I am living in a different state now and they were absolutely beautiful. They are not cheap but worth every penny. I've never actually called them and spoken to anyone but their online services have never failed me.

I ordered $100 bouquet for a Visitation (5:00 yesterday 3/31) and the funeral today which got "delivered @ 4:55 yesterday" I have the mother-in-law clock ringing in my ear to prove the delivery time. So, I went to ask the professionals there this morning before the funeral and asked if they felt this was a $100 bouquet, they did not and offered a "50% discount" and a new bouquet I could take with me to the funeral which I did not except "really?!" a credit of $40 reduced to $60 total. Sorry guys, with Mom in the ear and the family guest list I walked in on Wednesday the "damage" was done before I even got to the visitation, I was not going to carry another one in this morning. However, I did see other "nice" arrangements there from Boesen with no dead flowers in them so I must of purchased must be a "last batch" special. Regardless, if anyone thinks this is a $100 bouquet, well, now a "50%" off bouquet because I complained. I'll shut up.

Bosen did a great job. This weekend for a wedding, the party forgot to get a bouquet to place at the altar. I went to bosen and explained the situation. Michelle walked me around looking at the flowers and options in store. We settled on a simple bouquet. They were able to make it within the hour and have it looking beautiful for the wedding. They are great and I would definitely go back

The flowers that were delivered from someone to me in memory of family member look like they've been sitting in a case and just thrown together and had Browning around the edges and did not look fresh the water was spilled everywhere in the bag that they came in and it was a mess I am sure that the people that sent it we're not planning on it looking that way when I received it very disappointed

If you want flowers delivered between the 8-4 pm time that is stated on Valentine’s Day, avoid Boesen. Today flowers for my wife did not arrive in the allotted timeframe and this has happened once before. It appears Boesen takes on more orders than they are able to deliver and accepts this as part of their practice. This is unacceptable and frustrating for a customer who then spends time haggling with customer service to get money back. Go elsewhere for Valentine’s Day.

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day the Monday prior for delivery that Wednesday. They had a Mother's day special which I ordered not knowing really what it was going to look like. It was absolutely beautiful, well done, and so very much appreciated. I placed my order by calling the flower shop directly, no issues with placing the order, they answered all of my questions, and were very pleasant. Thank you for making this a great experience!

I just had to leave a review to comment on the phenomenal customer service of Boesen. The bouquet I ordered for my girlfriend was received slightly damaged and the package it came in was damp from water spillage, overall just looked like it was weathered. I called Boesen the following day and explained what had happened and they delivered a fresh bouquet no questions asked. I’d definitely come back here again the next time I’m looking for a gift for a loved one.

Will never order flowers from this company again.I Ordered flowers for my grandmother in assisted living. With Covid-19, no one is allowed to visit. Thought delivering flowers from a large company like Boesen would have been trust worthy to get the job done.Ordered online. Had a confirmation email they would be delivered by Mother’s Day. Lisa from the Des Moines store left me a message at 2 PM telling me the order would not be delivered and was cancelled. All the while being charged the full amount.I called back and talked to a someone who said he “thinks” it can be delivered on Monday, the following day. Told me he’d call me back to confirm, was never called back. Was then charged an additional full amount...This same day, I emailed Lisa, with no response from her, asking what the status/delivery date and remedy was going to be made for the 2 charges and lack of delivery. Again, no response.I called Tuesday, 2 days after the delivery was supposed to be made. She informed me it would happen by the end of the day today. I asked what was going to be done to remedy the $$ situation. She said she could give me 50% off for my troubles. Then an additional 50% was charged to my card...I have been charged a total of $201.35.Not happy. Will never order from Boesen again. Will not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

Ordered flowers for a birthday, Boesen confirmed the order which per their website should be considered confirmation of delivery on that day. The flowers were not delivered that day, nor was I contacted. Only the next day was I informed that they needed "additional address information". When I called them back they said they found the information and would make the delivery today. A day late on a birthday delivery isn't good enough.

Ordered a bouquet through 1-800 Flowers on the 14th, scheduled for delivery today (02/18). A bouquet was delivered the same day I placed the order, but it had the wrong selection of flowers (Floral Embrace as listed on 1800's site; my main priority was a bouquet with sunflowers).The card attached to the delivery did say February 18, so that part of the order was definitely relayed. However, what especially rubbed me the wrong way was a notification I received this afternoon, saying the florist had _just_ delivered the bouquet.The flowers themselves were nice, but they were neither what I ordered, nor did they arrive when I ordered them. Part of the issue may have been using a third-party provider to place the order, but it seems like there were still communication issues once the order was submitted through Boesen.

Flowers were just as I ordered but the attention to detail is lacking. I ordered the flowers on 10/18 to be delivered on 10/19 on my girlfriends birthday. I got confirmation that the order was placed and it said right on the confirmation a delivery date of 10/19. The flowers delivered on 10/18 the day before her birthday so a big let down for me to surprise her the day of her birthday. Good product bad execution will not use again.

Boesen is now my florist for life. I've used many different floral delivery companies throughout the years but Boesen's service is the absolute best. Most recently, a dear friend of mine lost her beloved dog to old age. I was not able to visit her but sent some flowers in my absence. Boesen had quick same-day delivery options. They delivered the flowers and were very sweet to my friend in her grief. I'm thankful that a friendly person was there for her when I could not be.

I purchased 2 large planters for my nieces who were grieving the loss of their dad. What I paid for and what they received were not even close! Lisa was not at all helpful. She sent a second one to one of my nieces and it was fuller but still not close to what I paid for. Never using them again! Bosens use to be a gold standard Not anymore

I have ordered Bosen's for gifts to be delivered many times and have been extremely satisfied. The flowers always look great. I ordered a bouquet for my mother's birthday, online and was called to ask if I would like it delivered that same day (which I did, as it was her birthday) and it was delivered before 5pm, even thought they have a 24 hour policy. Every person I have spoken with was through and respectful. I will use Bosen's in the future.

The kind of professional service you expect from such a well-respected local business. I didn't worry about the quality of the arrangements for our fundraising event, even though it was my first time ordering from them. Delivery was smooth and timely.

Great flowers, but lousy customer service.Called Boesen today concerned that my wife's flowers hadn't been delivered as of 2 pm (order placed two weeks prior) and actually had it suggested to me that requesting delivery the day before or after Valentine's Day was smarter given the high volume of deliveries on 2/14. Kind of defeats the purpose.The female associate with whom I spoke, talked OVER me and argued to a minor degree... something I simply cannot stand.Flowers were delivered with the vase overfilled with water, causing spillage all over my wife's office. Fortunately, the arrangement itself does look fantastic.

Might consider ordering from Flowerama! The lady behind the counter designing the arrangements was less than helpful and treated us like it was an inconvenience to help us. Won’t be back. Very disappointed. We do not recommend going here. Go to Flowerama.

Great place! Whether I stop by or call in the staff here is very helpful. I don't know a lot about flowers but they put me at ease and my lady is always complimented on how good the florist did. Often I call them in the morning and they get my flowers delivered that afternoon.Pro Tip - Flowers are half price on Friday so stop in and have them whip you up a bouquet of stems and save some coin (or double the size)!

I've ordered flowers from Boesen's for Mother's Day for the past several years and I have had nothing but STELLAR service and quality from them. I use Boesen for birthdays, get well wishes, and even my daughter's prom corsage and have never been disappointed. Actually, just yesterday I ordered flowers for my step-father who had surgery and they were exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend Boesen the Florist to anyone in the Des Moines area.
