My sister and I checked out this thrift store today and we were very pleasantly surprised at the fair prices and the quality of items that are curated for the store. Whoever is in charge there is doing an incredible job. We will definitely be back it’s fun to go Thrifting again when you find a really good spot like this one. Follow their Facebook page they have weekly specials. Great job! Much appreciated cleanliness and organization. Very nice friendly place. They also did an excellent job packing our odd size and breakable items.

The store is deceptively large. It's absolutely massive when you get inside and not an inch of space is wasted. Everything is very organized and neatly marked (one thing which is sorely lacking at a lot of thrift stores), and prices are posted in easy-to-find places as well. The staff run a tight ship. The few we met were very sweet and helpful. Can't beat the prices - or the selection, really! We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely good people. I don’t donate anywhere else. Cheap, great quality items. Their flash sales can’t be beat. This is a NFP that gives your bucks to pay vet bills! No big corporate swindle! It’s a true charity thrift store.

This place does so much good and offers so much care to special needs cats and dogs that I want to support them whenever I can. The thrift shop supports this mission and is a fun and interesting place to visit.

Very large store! Found a lot of great stuff! Prices were very good. Many thrift stores have started charging consignment store prices the past few years. It was a refreshing change! Workers were super nice! My only suggestion to better your store would be to take more time when putting stuff out on the floor. I understand you can’t look at every clothing item and that’s just part of the thrift game. Sometimes you will find items that have holes, stains or minor defects. However, I saw so many men’s shirts and blazers that were extremely gross with a saturated yellow sweat neck and that I don’t think you can overlook. Some long sleeve shirts had major gashes to the point where the sleeve was nearly falling off yet it was still put on the rack for sale. I only add that because overtime that will be a deterrent for many people including myself coming back to a place that will literally put out anything that is donated to them. The Salvation Army used to do that and it was an absolute dealbreaker for me to go there for many years. I leave this only as constructive criticism and hope you take it in the fashion it was intended. It isn’t to put your store down but only to help you. I will definitely be back but over time, if that stuff continues to be put out I probably would go elsewhere.

Easily one of the best thrift stores I've been to. I thought it was going to be small and compact, but I get inside and there's two splits, where the main store is actually downstairs and it's a lot bigger than you think.The prices are fair, the staff is kind and I'm appreciative such a good store exists so close by.

The store has two flights of stairs to access their main areas. When asked if they have an elevator, we were told no, and that because they are a nonprofit they don’t have to abide by the ADA. That, I’m afraid to say, is simply false. The ADA applies to nonprofits, and this specific nonprofit just lost two customers.

I love the ambiance. It's so charming and I feel comfortable shopping there. I always find what I'm looking for. I prefer knowing that my donations and my purchases go to help dogs with special needs.25 years ago, my 15 year-old son wanted to donate service time with the originator, but he was too young at the time to handle the dogs. Sometime after that, she started the thrift store. I have shopped there, ever since.

Best thrift store in DSM. Prices are affordable. So many of these"thrift" stores charge more than Walmart or Target! And it supports a very worthy cause. I will always donate & support the "babies"! Thanx for having such a great place!

Best thrift store ever! Most Nice staff you could ask for. I was there with my husband who nvr been there before, found a great plate set and cute kitchen towels and a scarf! My husband loved it also. And it is really big, my husband said "how can it b so big in this tiny strip mall?" And I said "just wait trust your wife I know much!" The first thing he went for was the old school record player, then coffee makers, lol. Love the variety and the bathrooms are clean which is so important! Love love love it!

I always find treasures here and the prices are beyond comparison. If you don't shop here you're missing out and if you're not a thrifter, please consider donating!!!

This is a decent store with good deals. I would give it five stars if it was atleast a little more organized or had signs to show where things were located. It made it difficult finding things so i was left aimlessly wandering around to find what i was there for.

First of all, it's a thrift store, so get your expectations in line. Alot of it is meh- once again-its a thrift store...but holy hell, if you actually look around...some awesome items. The prices are great. I buy TONS of lularoux pants, a bazillion princess skirts for my 3 year old, toys, kitschy handmade jewelry (been loving the Scrabble) necklaces. This is hands down one of the best thrift stores in DSM

My favorite thift shop. Always find something or lots of things that are great finds. It feels good donating to such a great cause-special needs pets. My money from purchases go to helping care for special needs animals and best of all, they are a no kill shelter. Love this! Their staff is wonderful!

First time going there. Thank you all for saving me money by treating us the way you did. Twenty five minutes before closing your turning off the lights. Fifteen minutes before closing turning of more lights. Thank you for the closing announcement every two minutes since my husband and I didn't hear it the first five times. And no I'm not buying that or anything else today. Please put it back, I don't need to spend money at this store. I will go somewhere that understands the slightest customer service. First and last time.. Thank you.

I will never shop or promote animal lifeline thrift store ever again. They have this old lady, who harassed me twice now! Last Thursday (June 10th, 2021), I went to Animal Lifeline Thrift Store. This elderly woman is a strong Donald Trump supporter, worships the ground he walks on, and strong republican. Well she was at the counter talking and trying to convince people at the register why he's next to godliness. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and the staff did NOTHING to stop her. The manager was actually encouraging her to continue to harass customers and convince them they need to become republicans. It sickened me and I felt unsafe. I will NEVER shop there again.

This store is near the top of my list for thrifting. I shop their collectibles as they are priced realistically and they frequently run 50 percent off sales. I've purchased several kitchen appliances and often find inexpensive kitchen items. I wear plus sizes but a lot of the clothes are faded and out of style...the same goes for the linens. Whatever I do buy, I know it will be going to their animal shelter.

Nice clerk's, lots of craft items and. "Stuff" for cats and dogs. Have a decent selection of sheets, blankets ect... However they hardly ever have towels. At least NOT MANY "nice ones" that I would actually use. LOTS OF shoes and boots. Easy access dressing room. It's small but at least they have a mirror in there so you can see yourself. Only one bad thing is they have stairs to go down so if your in a wheelchair you can't go down stairs or up the stairs. Which is where ALL THE CHRISTMAS STUFF IS. I MEAN THEY HAVE A TON!!!!!!

I really enjoy Animal Lifeline Thrift. About the only thrift store in the metro that understands THRIFT store prices. Friendly staff, store is always pretty clean, keeping in mind this isn't Macy's.

Yes good store for a good cause but their clothes pantry just gives u a bag of clothes and says here won't let u look for clothes and just expect u to fit them it's a waist of time and resources
