Best Vet in Des Moines . Clean , professional, and personable and most of all my dogs love them . I have 3 dogs , my really old chihuahua need teeth pulled , they pulled 5 and cleaned the rest. Her teeth looked AMAZING!! This is my top pick for a local vet.

Fantastic care. Michelle and all of the staff are incredible. My pup Ringo actually LIKES going to visit, which is saying a lot. But when it really counts and something needs fixing, nobody is better. Just refreshing this review a year later to again highly recommend Animal Care Clinic. Ringo too!!

Loved the vet. Office staff efficient and friendly. Decent diagnosis on an old cat and hopefully some good results. I'd drive three hours out of the way to use this vet when possible.

Staff is very kind. Dr. Jacobi was wonderful with my little peanut. I appreciate her thoroughly explaining everything. She also informed me that my cat is in fact a girl, not a boy 😅

With only one appointment, I found out soooo much more about my cats condition than I have at any other vet clinic I’ve brought him to. Dr. B seems to really know what she’s talking about. I will continue to bring my pets here.

I just moved to the area not too long ago, and had to bring my dog Cornelius in to get an exam, after he came home from boarding with skin irritation and inflammation.I didn’t hesitate and called as soon as they were open, because I always worry when my baby isn’t acting like his usual self.I was so impressed with how quick they were able to fit a new patient in, and they all absolutely loved him like their own! And immediately upon walking in, he was comfortable and bouncing all over.Pricing was very reasonable, and everything was explained thoroughly for his momma to understand.Would definitely recommend!

We lost both of our senior dogs over the last 4 months and during this time Dr. Bollinger couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding. She took the time to return a message I left with her office team while she was on vacation and helped us through a very difficult time in our lives with two aging dogs. I recently switched vets because of a bad experience at a different place in my home town, I saw the great reviews for this clinic and I was like “hey let’s try them”. I was so so so surprised with how great they were. They were so sweet and beyond great to my kitty. They gave me so much information and answered my 5 billion questions. This is my new vet! We have been seeing Dr. Bollinger since my dog was a puppy. She is very thorough and caring, and makes sure all of our questions are answered before we leave. The office is great about being flexible with scheduling and keeping us on track with reminders. They are the best!

Dr. Heyer was wonderful!! She is very easy to talk to and presents all options for your pet. I came here because I was told my pet needed to be euthanized for a condition and no other options were available to him. My pet was not suffering and was acting his happy normal self, so I wanted to seek a second opinion.The team here was wonderful and accommodated me rapidly due the the urgency of my pet’s condition. Doc talked to me for a long period of time and never made the appointment feel rushed. She presented all treatment choices and gave me some palliative care options. I am so very thankful that we get to spend more time with our precious pup!! The staff was very friendly too. No barking dogs in the background. No long waits. Very clean. Very welcoming environment; my dog (who has hated the vet for 17 years, was not phased and felt comfortable). Again - I can’t thank her enough!!

This animal hospital is nothing short of amazing! Our primary clinic was not able to see my dog for 5 days. He had suffered a mouth injury with a fractured tooth at the gum line. This clinic not only got him in that day but performed surgery the next morning We are not even their clients. Simply AMAZING. True dedication to the wellbeing of my Labrador and his anxious mom (me). I cannot praise them enough
