I have found everything I have been looking for so far. I am new in the city. I found Hy-Vee more convenient than Walmart having the same prices and friendly customer's service. Also, the price that products show is what you pay at the register and no surprises like Walmart often has!

Being from Utah I was so surprised to see how genuinely nice people are in Iowa especially here at HyVee. I cant compliment enough on how amazing the staff was here and the time they took to make my experience personable. Kudos to everyone there. And the meat department explained to me the difference between ground pork and ground ham which is something I had never ever heard of in my life. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Today, August 1st, 2023, I had to go to Customer Service. The treatment from Junior, the cashier, was AWESOME!! He was polite, informative, and greeted us with a smile!! Some cashiers, at other places, could learn from him!! Thank You, Junior!! Keep up the great work!!

Well I have family that works there. And I used to work in the meat dep. I have to say over all. It's a helpful smile in every aisle. Prices are sometimes a little high. But over all great place! Great food in kitchen..say hi to Mark over there! Great cakes and donuts and cookies in the bakery. The meat dept. Used to be wonderful it still is. But it's changed cents I worked there and I think I liked it the way it was better. Lots of friendly people there! Can't forget those cashier's smiles and customer service! If you go there make sure you tell Taylor I said hi!

Good prices compared to faraway recently. Milks are still pricy compared to Walmart by 3-4$. Should consider dropping milk price.

Fast service, clean store, easy to get around!! The staff are always so friendly and are always ready to give you a hand. I highly recommend shopping here if you want a good and relaxing time shopping.

The cashier there is super awesome! I keep going to her line and she's great. I wish I knew her name. If I get it maybe I'll amend this review. But I will have to admit that their selection of meats, veggies and fruit have not been very good for a bit. I'll say maybe it's got something to do with the pandemic, I don't know. But I do know it's just not been so great for few months now.

I travel ALL over IA, NE, MO, MN and I love HyVee! This location was not my favorite. One employee I asked for a price because there wasn't one posted acted like I had inconvenienced him very much and grudgingly went to find out. I even felt that I had to say I was sorry I bothered him. There was a very nice older gentlemen by the yogurt that greeted me and asked me if I needed anything. Then the cashier brought the mood down again and not friendly and seemingly annoyed I told her I had a fuel saver card. Only found one "helpful smile in every aisle".

They have a good selection of products and good prices on some things staff is usually pretty helpful Kari is one of the best managers you'll ever find.... She is always very helpful and very knowledgeable... they are very fortunate to have her... This is an all around good store and I would recommend it to friends and family...

To be honest the last couple of times I had a bad experience. Example they charged me $11.99 a pound for onions. But when I went back to the store and showed them their mistake they were happy to credit me and give me the onions for free

Terrible service. No rainchecks now so it's okay to advertise things to get people in to purchase and not have it on hand. Then add on the fact that they no longer carryout groceries for anyone. That includes handicapped people. It doesn't dawn on anyone that they offer curbside service IF you want to pay for it. They seem to forget that the cashiers are the ones bagging the groceries here and NO ONE is cleaning the carts off anyway as they are at other locations. Btw, those same employees have no problem going outside to retrieve those same carts that haven't been cleaned. Oops. Guess that's okay though!

I am not sure if I should do 2 or 1 star but I went with 2. I have a decent sized family with growing teenagers and live out of town so when I come to the grocery store I tend to stock up. I’m not really sure why the cashiers and baggers tend to care the amount of groceries I have but there have been comments and nonverbal body language that shows me, as the customer, they do not want to help. Not a helpful smile in the checkout isle. I pay for my groceries and I would even bag and take me groceries out myself If it meant I had good service at the checkout. (I actually prefer to take my own groceries out to my car). Now I’m not discrediting all of the staff I have encountered but it seems like I have had just as many negative experiences at the denison Hy-Vee as good ones. I try to dismiss this poor behavior but I feel as I will take my business elsewhere as this behavior is not ok and a huge turnoff. I am not one that gets worked up easily and feel I have pretty good tolerance most of the time. If my child was acting this way to a paying customer I would be disappointed

My Husband and I come here once a month for groceries. We come on a Saturday because we don’t work that day and live pretty far out of town. For the last 4 months we come and we check out around 9:00 AM. There is only ever one person checking out customers and no bag boy. I’m 8 months pregnant and we can never get help w our groceries to our truck and most times my husband has to bag the groceries. Today is the 2nd of February 2021 and it was even worse today. The fuel saver doesn’t matter when it takes this much time and effort for us to pay and get our groceries bagged! I would not recommend even for light trips.We should get a discount for doing your jobs since you don’t have any workers and your turning into Walmart with no check out people. At least Walmart has a self check out. I guess there going to get more of our business.

Store is rather small in comparison to most Hy-Vee. You can tell that the customer service is rather forced. Products are good. Prices are rather high. Produce and meats are generally slim picking.

I've been here many times,they have a great selection to choose from,they also have a pharmacy in house to get your prescriptions filled while you shop. Great place to get your groceries.

Staff always friendly! It tells me alot when employees are among when they greet me. Some even know my name, my kids names, and ask how everyone is doing. I love my Denison Hyvee

Have not been happy in every aisle got outdated Frozen product, old lunchmeat so check the dates because they don't. Pharmisist is not professional but is good at covering up her mistakes by blaming other people
