I want to preface in saying I've worked with and around HyVee for more than 25 years in the CPG business and they've always treated me well and have been a top notch organization.It brings me no pleasure to give the Decorah, IA location 2 stars, however after their floral department dropped the ball on delivering a bouquet of flower to my 76 year old mother for Mother's Day, I have no choice. They should feel grateful they scored 2 stars.After my order didn't arrive as scheduled, I called the next day and was told their "Team" was working on it. I called back again at the end of the day and was told they couldn't full fill my order.It took 2 days for them to figure out they couldn't full fill my order? They couldn't pick up the phone and call me to let me know they couldn't full fill my order? A little communication would have been nice so I could have made other arrangements.Very disappointing Hy-Vee! What has happened to the top notch organization, I've been a custom to working with?

Very nice new store. Employees are do very helpful, had two special requests at the butcher dept, and they took care of me with a warm smile. They also have checkers in a couple of check out lanes, which is great. The only complaint I have is they don't carry their cinnamon crispees which are wonderful in this store.

Great store and excellent customer service. I know some people are upset about the fact that this location doesn't carry everything that the "other" Hyvee locations do. I wouldn't say I'm upset about that, but I do wish they carried more unique products instead of everything Walmart already carries. And while I love the huge alcohol section, I do wish that space was dedicated to a bigger meat/fish department. Shout out to the current fish/meat guys for getting us in some delicious fresh whole salmon fillets!

They don't have the selection that most of the Hy-Vee stores I have shopped in. Prices on non sale items are more expensive than other places in town. They do have a large liquor section, but I would have preferred a bakery. It is clean and they started having more staffed checkouts.

I was super excited to get the new HyVee here in Decorah and I have some thoughts. I do miss a helpful smile in every aisle, but it is a smaller store so maybe they don't have enough staff for rhat! I like the self checkout and I am always grateful that the bags at each station are open so I don't have to fumble with that. I wish they had more name brands and less HyVee brads, but financially I get why they don't. I love the Spirits section of the store and I hope they expand on that with activities once we are able to have indoor gatherings. I wish they had a bigger meat and fresh seafood section. All that said, it's clean and efficient and I frequent it regularly!

Where do I start; Produce bar codes don't scan. 80% of time sale items not available. Spend $100's there not a single gas point. Always a problem at check out even manager rings up items twice in error. If you are going to have a substitution item at least put a sign up so we know. I could go on all day about how starbucks is consistently lousy,/inaccurate watered down, doesn't taste like any coffee in it or absolutely no flavoring. Needs more training or stop calling it starbucks.

Wine and spirits section is too large. It could be divided in thirds to make room for a bakery and deli. Haven't found anything there that Walmart doesn't have. It's a beautiful store but I'm not sold on it.

Nice workers, was greated throughout the store. And love they have a Starbucks inside too so I cold get a latte after I was done shopping. Also a meat department too.

We always like shopping at Hy-Bee as they always have what we need or want at a very reasonable price. Oh and always helpful to lead us to any items we cannot find. Our favorite store!

Unfortunately I was expecting an organic foods section, a Chinese food Cafe, bakery, flowers... more that the other larger city Hy-Vees offer, I was very disappointed that this store has none of that. This hy-vee does have a nice liquor store, and a Starbucks though... so I suppose it's one step up from their sister store, Dollar Fresh. I will also add, I prefer cashiers to help with the checkout process over self-serve checkouts, like this store has.

Beautiful store layout and design. Bright and welcoming. Updated technology and equipment. This will be a wonderful place to shop, with an amazing selection of groceries and alcoholic beverages.

It would not allow negative stars or I would have selected. Pathetic. I know each place has “growing pains “ when they first open. This was pathetic. I was so excited to have Hyvee hit Decorah. I have LOVED shopping with Hy-vee while in Madison, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and other towns I visit. I entered the wine and spirits and was pleased..... only to be severely let down when I wandered the aisles of the grocery side. Things I expected but did not find include, flowers and plants, bakery and deli counter. Decorah is a very culturally diverse community. I expected to find items that would reflect this. It did not. I’m over it. I am now trying to decide if my disgust is enough to keep me out of all Hy-vee stores.

While having a coffee shop inside was a nice perk I think it would be great if they actually had a deli department and bakery rather than just a wall of it .

Worst grocery store I've ever been in one and looking for three things they had none of the three I was looking for so I decided to look for ham it was located in three different spots of the store the left side the right side and the middle every single thing I looked for nothing is an order it's just a mishmash mess there was a couple things like I seem cool whip it was a very good price I think $0.88 or something the only thing I bought out of the whole store every other price was Sky High the meat counter all the meat look dried out don't think I'll be back

It might be smaller then some hy-vees I have been into but I think the store is nice and clean. I can find everything I need in there. I think they offer quite a bit.
