I found half and half and some vodka. I already had Kahlua. Although I could have written a check, I used my credit card instead. Temps outside were a bit chilly, so I opted to be fully clothed rather than in my comfy bathrobe. I feel they would have accepted me in a bathrobe and PJs anyway. They seemed friendly enough.

Amazing Tbones, but we were pretty disappointed on the 6oz filet quality. Very friendly staff, they're the best around. That is the main reason why we are loyal Fareway customers.

Produce was fresh and stocked even during a busy day. There is a good sized liquor section with plenty of beer, seltzer, wine, and hard alcohol. Mostly popular name brands alcohols.

The store was clean and well taken care of. But the employees and citizens of the town were strange. They ran into us several times. Walking straight towards us when we were in an aisle and ran into us! My friend almost fell over.

Our daughter really brags this store up. Super friendly and helpful staff. Today my spouse, daughter and grandchildren where there and my spouse said it was a really nice, well ran and managed store. Made several comments on how friendly the staff and customers were.

Excellent service. 20 year old vehicle with rock chip and very sand pitted. 15 minutes and my windshield was done. Can't see the chip and 90% of the pitting has disappeared. I recommend this company for any glass need. Thanks, Cara and the crew in the shop. I am a very happy customer!

Great selection and service. Staff was super friendly and prices were reasonable as well. Great produce selection. Full service checkout and help out with your groceries. In the days of big chains and 'super' big box stores, I'm genuinely impressed!!

We absolutely love shopping at Fareway! The staff is extremely kind and patient especially when you're shopping with small children. We would typically go once or twice a week as a family and within a few months most of the staff knew our kids and would ask about a time when we would go without them. We love the small-town feel the moment you walk in the door as well as the continued expansion of products.

Their meat counter is the highlight of the store. I'm giving them 3 stars because their produce leaves something to be desired. Many times I've bought strawberries only to find that under the top layer of berries there is mold or mushy fruit. I dont buy artichokes there or avocados. One side might be good but the rest is over ripe. It's a shame really.

I had shopped in there for years, and then one day I asked about the plastic shopping bags. The one guy rudely yelled at me that I was supposed to read the sign hanging from the ceiling about saving the earth. I went a few rounds with those rude people and I never went back. I found out how much cheaper other places were than them. The new Hy vee store is awesome. The evidently don't need my business so I will go to Hy vee and other places where people are a lot more friendly BYE!!!!!!

I went to the check out and was treated very rude by the attendant she swung my cart to the side and said I gotta clean it. Just about walked out right thenbut stayed. She ran my card said do you want a receipt or not I said yes she gave it for and I left. Will not go back to the Decorah store. I have news for the HyVee is coming!

Excellent place to shop. The meat department is the best one I have ever been in. All the worker in the store are friendly and very helpful . The fruits and vegetables are fresh .

Whether they have excellent substitutions for things I was wanting, or things I wasn't in there for but surprised me and I just had to buy (shelf full of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout for example), this Fareway is awesome!

It is always fun trip for us to take with motorcycle from La Crosse. The have a good meat counter, and is cheaper than Festivals.

I once had someone call me for a job interview at the store and then I drove from Cresco to it only to be told by one of the managers that they had hired someone else when I got there. That was also the last day I would ever shop at a fareway store.

Two of three packages of the ground meats I purchased this week at Fareway Foods weighed less than the weight I was charged for. One package of ground beef weighed 15 1/2 ounces, a little over a half ounce less than the stated weight of 1.02 pounds. A package of Italian Sausage also weighed in at 15 1/2 ounces vs, the stated weight of .98 pound. I know we're talking nickels and dimes here, but customers should get what they pay for.

Fareway of Decorah has always been THE BEST GROCERY STORE since ive been in Iowa!!! Fresh produce, the dairy dept, and their meat dept is out of this world as i know it. EZ parking, availability of product, fresh beef , poultry, pork!!
