Very friendly. Ready to help. I have visited several times. It has always been pleasant, even though my pets are getting older. When I tell them the issue diagnosed by the vet, they explain the products they have. It is helpful to make a decision. There is no pressure to buy anything.

Seeing some of these 1 star reviews for grooming does not surprise me in the slightest. Made an appointment to get my puppies first groom here, and was so excited. 2 groomers were working when I took him in, and one of them was extremely rude the entire time. (I didn’t catch her name) Gave us a Dirty look as soon as we walked in, even though we went in super friendly. I had got my puppies rabies vaccine like a week before his appointment and the vet accidentally put the wrong date on ONE PART of his papers (it was the beginning of the new year. Very common mistake to make. The nice groomer even said the same thing.) the date was CORRECT on his tag and on another part of his papers. The groomer who was being unkind literally refused to even glance at his tag with the correct date and just kept repeating “we can’t do it.” I 100% get the vaccine rule, which is why I got his vaccines so he was ready to go for his appointment. Wasn’t a very friendly welcoming environment from the second we walked in and that’s honestly extremely disappointing. I completely understand having bad days, but you shouldn’t take it out on customers. I haven’t been to Petsmart since and would rather shop elsewhere for my pets.

This store was actually clean. The young lady was very helpful and courteous. She helped us pick our baby bearded dragon. I'm experienced, she actually let me hold her and check her out. Other stores won't let you, but if I'm going to buy it, I should be able to hold and examine it. Finally, a good experience at Petsmart.

Nice big clean store with anything you can think of for your pets... unfortunately people can butt in line when buying fish, even though I had waited 10 minutes for the person in front of me who was getting 100 of something. Will just go to Teske's....

Called in advance to check if they had something in stock as I live over 2 hours away. They told me they'd pull it and hold it behind the counter for me. Was waiting on a cart for me when I got there. Thanks

They always have what I need and it's a quick in and out. Bonus there are areas to bath you dog they are always clean with plenty of towles for drying!

Smile speaks for itself! This location has always been clean and stocked with products. All petsmarts are more expensive than Amazon, so never have purchased dog food here. But it sure does make for a fun afternoon for your dog and gets you out of the house when the weather is cold.

I drive across the river to go to this one. It is cleaner, friendlier and more inviting than the Moline location. Elmore PetSmart I never stand waiting for ever for some crickets either. This location is just overall better than another pet store in the area.

Bella, my elderly Beagle, absolutely LOVED going to Petsmart for her “spa days” at the groomer. They treated her so well, and you could absolutely tell that she was taken care of and loved so much by the staff. She always looked so fluffy and pretty after her spa days, both photos down below were after getting groomed. Thank you to the Petsmart groomers for treating her like family during her last 3 years before she passed on.

Tried to make an appointment to get my dogs nails trimmed on the website, but it's walkin only. Drove an hour to this store to read a sign saying we need his vet records. It's our first time doing this so, understandable. Went to the shelter we got him from and got the vet records. He is from Oklahoma and that's where his paperwork is from. "It's not signed by a vet tech" and what are we suppose to do for that? We have never been to Oklahoma, how would I get the vet tech to sign? Absolutely no resolution. Waste of time, FOR A NAIL TRIM

A good place to buy pet supplies, the do allow animals to come along and I was able to find some very interesting looking birds. If you bring a dog they'll give them a doggie biscuit upon checking out. They often have seasonal displays and events for your pets.

Don't buy fish here without putting them in a hospital tank for 2 weeks. Lost a tank full of fish to Ick. They were 5th generation. Added 2 agae eaters, and 6 days later, my fish are all dead.

Deb the pet school instructor is heaven sent. We rescued a Corgi that has had a checkered past and she has helped us turn her in to a perfect Angel!I couldn't recommend her more to anyone who wants thier pet to be happy and well-mannered!Thanks Deb.

I arrived at 6:55am for my 7:00 appointment.2 groomers, one stood with a scowl on her face as I waited to be checked in.Never spoke the entire time. I waited patiently for 14minutes and as the first groomer finished I heard her tell the client I am Anita and I will be your groomer, it will be 3 to 4 hours.When I finally was waited on I questioned if my dog was going to be groomed by her since we requested Anita when I scheduled the appointment. I drove 40 minutes to arrive at 7:00 so my dog was first to be groomed for nothing.I do not believe that Anita was going to groom my dog and there was no way that the miserable woman that did nothing to help us was going to groom my dog.Very disappointed and I left with my dog snd will no longer shop or schedule appointments at PetSmart.

I can’t count how many times my dog has been denied grooming services because the Pet Smart Davenport, IA Grooming staff (specifically Nancy) can’t do their jobs and properly record vaccination records. On top of that, their customer service is terrible! Imagine how horrible they are to our pets if they treat customers so poorly!! Maybe that is the reason my dog is so scared to go to PetSmart! I would recommend finding a different groomer who actually can do their job and be respectful. That is what we are doing.

Today was good. Much better than the last visit. Only issue was not opening additional register to get customers out quicker. When the line is stacked past the first break in the aisle, call someone up. There were several other employees on the floor to help.

The selection and variety of items was great, however the customer service was terrible. You would think when Petco is 6 min down the street then you would try to step it up a bit. For example 10 months ago I bought my dog kennel here at petsmart. The person helping me then said once your puppy is older and not chewing that I could come back and get a dog bed or cushion that would fit inside the kennel. Now my dog is a year old and not 7 weeks like he was at the time, so he is not chewing or anything so thought it would be time to get a bed. Once I was able to find someone to help I told them what kennel I had and the measurements. The person said we don't have one and walked off. Didn't give me the time of day. So I continued to look with no help and asked another person . Same thing except they didn't even stop . So I eventually found exactly what I was looking for but it's on the top shelf and no real clear round tags or order to the beds. So to anyone who has been to petsmart and look at the beds and cushions the racks are decently high. I still could not get anyone to help so I had to litterly climb rack to get the bed I needed. Even while I was dangling in the air air no one would help even though they saw. So I had to drop the bed down from the top shelf . When this happened more then one fell and could have knocked me off. I have never been treated so badly anywhere even when my mom asked someone about a dog harness she was not treated well and the person was very short with her. These are not the only two problems we had. Its really sad because I am a rewards member and get my dogs food there . My mom already said she would not return and even though I have the rewards it is tough to say if I would go back anymore. As you can see in my pictures pretty sure that fits in the kennel just right unless I have bad eyes and can't measure.

UPDATE 2023: Trainer Debbie Young is still fantastic.Trainer Debbie Young is superb, knowledgeable, patient, and accessible. We truly enjoy and learn so much in each class. Petsmart class policies are wonderful, too. We highly recommend taking dog training classes at this location!!

Had been taking Max to Petsmart for 3 year and today he was denied service as he was a little aggressive and I personally got him on anxiety meds to help them. I don’t have any problems bathing him but I will never shop Petsmart again

Great selection of inventory for any animal. Prices are a little higher here, but can find things here that are not at other places. Employees need training on being personable, treating customers like they want us in their store, and have someone out in the store to help find things. It was like being in Walmart trying to get help. I had to ask another customer if she knew where pig ears were at. It is my last place I go to only due to employees not acting like customers are valued there.

Very disappointed with this store. My 4 yrs old son and 6 yrs old daughter was so excited to buy fish as my son is obsessed with ocean creatures and looking an additional pet to put in his aquarium.That day this store is the only open pet store and so we came here for the first time. And the staff who is assisting in the fish section is very rude and denied my super excited kids to sell fish as she said that we will just kill the fish because the one that my son wants needs a 50 gallon tank. And assumed that I will just let the fish die.But their tank are full of dead fish that my son felt sorry for them and kept on telling me that there are dead fish in the tank!Didn't even gave us any options or recommendations on the right fish that we have to buy. Didn't gave us the chance to explain or anything. This kind of staff shouldn't be working in the customer service! Very very rude! I honestly want to scream at here but for the sake of my watching kids, we just left and promised them that we will go back to our favorite store.

My sisters and I went there with our adorable puppy Torvy. It was extremely hard to find Torvy's favorite kind of puppy food until we went to PetSmart. They have a wide selection of animals, animal food, toys, they even have a place to groom your pets. Good job PetSmart!

Almost better than Petco. Found a couple bones the dog liked. I like the discounts I get for getting dog food. And Pop Tart likes going there.
