Very welcoming security officer at the entrance, making the store feel like a safe place to shop. The shelves were full and the displays charming. Felt like my home town Hy Vee.

Went there for breakfast and waited 40 minutes for our food. As we were leaving we noticed the tables and floor on the bigger dining room were all filthy from the day before. Then we looked across from the "restaurant" where they make sushi...Crab meat, ginger, and other food items were left out with no cover or anything and not chilled. Grabbed some groceries after and said good morning to cashier, nothing. Said good morning to the person bagging, nothing. Said thank you to both, nothing. This used to be the best hyvee but it's really gone down hill lately. Starbucks is still great though and everyone who works there is so nice.

This post comes about a week and a half late and I truly don’t like leaving Hy-Vee bad feedback but I think 3 stars is where they’re at with me right now but if they don’t do this again to me and the other patrons I will come back and leave them 5 stars in the future. So I generally only come in to recycle my cans and bottles on Sunday. Well I drove all the way there bc this is my favorite Hy-Bee in Davenport. I live closer to the one on Locust but I like to do my recycling ♻️ at the one on Kimberly bc the location of the recycling center there is out of the way from the fest of the public shoppers. So I drive out there Suoer Bowl Sunday only to find a sign in place of the hall going down to recycle saying that it’s closed that day due to the Super Bowl. So I take it in stride while disappointed I had to drive there then go to the one on Locust which cost me more of my money not to mention having to lug all those cans and bottles in and out of my truck also the Locust location has a poorly placed recycling facility I went ahead and did it. Fast forward to the following Sunday after that I drive all the way there yet again only to find another sign in my way to do my recycling this time saying that the recycling center was closed for the second Sunday in a row due to someone calling I sick. Which I find to be a poor excuse bc everywhere else in the store employees were working. So again I go to the Locust location disappointed. Then finally last Sunday I went back once again to the good old Kimberley location and finally it was open and one of my favorite workers was there. A young man in his early to mid twenties I’m guessing with longish hair and glasses. He’s very professional and does his job very well while dealing with multiple customers. Don’t know his name unfortunately or I’d give him more credit. I’ll be back there this Sunday evening again though and hopefully there won’t be a sign in my hallway blocking me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pharmacy is horrible. The send your scrip to a fulfillment center every time. Store prices are high and quality has gone down hill. Most of the experienced managers are gone and a bunch of kids trying to run it. Matt the store manager is doing a horable job. Should love to have our nice hyvee back.

3-2021...This store is under a compete renovation. They have already added made to order Habachi Grill and a maid to order gourmet pizza place, MIA. A Starbucks will be added soon. Love the dining upgrades that have been made so far.

Usually stop at Hy Vee for Breakfast, cause its a Good Start to the Day. Friendly Staff, I like well done potatoes , like crispy. The normal potaoes don't come like. This. But the Cooks seem to get that Crisp just right. On the Grill. Thanks. Foe keeping the day Motivated. From a Full Belly.

If they can offer discounts to "card holders" they can price everything that way. Don't act like they are taking a LOSS if they gave the same discount to everyone. Corporate HyVee has posted their highest profits ever.Figure it out.Shareholders demand that WE pay the price for their cut.

I use the pharmacy and their Customer Service Desk on the regular! They are both wonderful to use! The folks are always nice, friendly, personable, and professional! They seem to always go that extra mile to get the job done for me! And I greatly appreciate that!

Hy-Vee is on par with Walmart food wise. Not in quantity but in charm. It can support a decent food balance and I'm happy about that.. gonna miss it when there's not one around wherever I go

NEVER workers to help w anything... if you're lucky enuf to get help you'll end up w Scott who is too busy to actually but will send you on a mission instead of just helping... back to Walmart I go. Its sad how much this location has gone down hill p

My favorite Quad Cities Hy-vee! Best staff around. The store is always clean and well stocked! I frequent the Hy-Chi and Starbucks inside.

If I didn’t have to bag every item without having to press a button, or have to wait for an employee because a machine decides I can’t just put my things in the cart. I would shop here a lot more. Very annoying

Can’t do self checkout without an employee breathing down your neck and thinking you are stealing. Very uncomfortable setting. Would never do this to a customer who is just trying to get in and get out. Do better Hy-Vee

I'm glad that Hy-Vee exists. It's a good company. However they're so over priced it's pretty ridiculous that they sustain their business. Cart full at Aldi = 85 bucks. Hy-Vee = 235. Aldi doesn't have everything so then Walmart for the remainder. Still way cheaper.Chinese food is ok. Especially when the dinner for 4 is on sale.

We recently used this Hy-Vee location for our wedding flowers. We booked these last minute, about two weeks out. They did a great job on the boutonnieres, corsages and bouquets. Thank you again for making this happen last minute.

Love this store. You don't have to self check, but you can if you wish. Cashiers are always fast and friendly. If you need assistance finding something, you will be helped by a friendly and professional person.

It was a wonderful shopping experience! First I took a full cart of empty Mt Dew cans and bottles into the Liquor Store end of Hy-Vee (on the west side of Hy-Vee on E. Kimberly) to redeem. Then I went to the store to purchase some food and was disappointed when the chicken leg quarters were sold out. But with a quick visit to the Meat Department, I was able to go to the cashier to pay for my purchases and also receive a raincheck for the chicken leg quarters. The Hy-Vee staff is so very helpful and I am always greeted throughout the store with a smile. 😃 It made my day!

Store was very nice and very clean. Prices have gone up a LOT due to inflation. Large store with great selection and variety. Lots of pre-made hot food available to go and also has eat-in restaurant. Bathroom was very nice and clean. Biggest disappointment was the need to have an armed security guard on duty at the check out lanes.

Been shopping at this store for over 25 years. I have never been more disappointed than I am now since the the remodel. All the good cashiers I went to are gone and fewer cashier attended registers are not a way to to obtain " A smile in every isle" as far as I and others are concerned. You've gone to hiring young KIDS that could careless about customer service and making sure the customer will come back. Their only looking at the almighty paycheck and sorry folks, they are over paid now for the little effort they provide. The pharmacy??? That's a whole other story in itself. I have.never had more problems getting my prescriptions as I do now. Bring the previous manger back. He knew his customers and they trusted him, I do not trust at all the new manager. Been lied to way 2 any times. Am seriously considering changing stores.

HyVee itself is a great place just not this one…when your being forced to show you receipt and a customer standing in front of your cart accusing you of not paying for your meat && embarrassing you in front of EVERYONE! Without an apology after wrongfully accusing you and management never following up. Mmm && can’t forget the time I bought chicken and there was hundreds of hairs all over it && when I brought it to the managers attention. I was told that’s what I can expect when I eat meat…CLEARLY AGAINST MEAT! Just yeah if it’s on the west end just know you’re getting bottom of the barell EVERY TIME!
