So I had just finished a purchased at Dollar General but when I first went in, there was only one other car in the parking lot, and that man had walked in about 10 seconds before I did, and he looked normal like not homeless , I was in my pajamas in an oversized working vest, and I probably looked homeless but when I first got in the store I had asked if they had a restroom I was told in a rude way. And so I went grab the cart, Got a whole two minutes into shopping over the loudspeaker the store I hear an associate come on and say they’re recording for shoplifters, and they repeated that a few times~ And it was not a recording. It was literally one of the associates saying it over the loudspeaker. About half an hour later, I get all my stuff in my cart and almost to the checkout at the front of the store. I had noticed they DO have restrooms. They weren’t employees only it was public restrooms and they weren’t out of order so long story short because of the way I looked and me asking right away to use the restroom, young girl at the counter with brown hair assumed I was homeless and was rude to me. Not only would they not let me use the restroom, but they didn’t have anybody really in the store when they were making those announcements except for me and another person. And let’s just say I’m pissed and I’ll never shop at the Dollar General again.

Store was clean and orderly but tight aisles. The cashier was rude as I had a few items I had to put back because I didnt have enough money. She lectured me like I was a misbehaving child in front of other customers loudly as to embarrass me further than I already was even after I apologized profusely to both her and the customers behind me. I even offered to return the items as they hadnt been scanned yet and she made a production of stoping from the register to snatch my cart and go to where Idk. It was humiliating.

I shop at this dollar General all the time because it's convenient and they have most everything I need, it's not very often I go in there and they don't have what I came in for, I can't even think of a time when it happened lately. They have everything from an antenna to oil for my car and food or clothing, also I like to keep the little business open. I just ran in for a coffee drink today.

It was a lot nicer than most the dollar general's I've been to, shelves stocked there wasn't a bunch of stuff all over the floor, employees weren't the friendliest but maybe they was just ready to be off..

I really get all my cleaning products here, but the parking lot is tiny and I have a very hard time getting my truck in & out. The entrance/exit only made for one vehicle to come thru at a time. Staff is very friendly. I'll keep coming back 😊

Sorry but i used to work here years ago. I know what its like to do the truck n havs all your stockout. But let me tell u this place haa gone down down down. Have you ever thought of just hiring people juat stock. No running reg. No cleaning or facing thing. Yes they do aomw cleaning up after themselfs but i think it would look and have a bigger maoney making days..

This store had a lot of cleaning supplies and that's what I wanted. It was a good Dollar General and stocked up with Supplies. There wasn't a lot of people in the store at the time which was a plus. The staff was fairly nice

I like the prices and selection, but this particular store is falling apart. They remodeled the inside even though the building is crumbling. The parking lot is a joke. Cramped and filthy all the time. Always a ton of garbage blowing around parking lot. Inside the store, carts full of merchandise to be displayed are stuck in the aisles, and you can't pass through. Need to do stocking after hours or when they can complete it.

Its a good place for paper products but for soda pop you never know what they going to charge the price is different every week and you usually got to buy 2 or 3 2liters to get thier best price . i like to get some pop sometimes but thier selection is limited and thier deals on pop you got to buy several too get good price and i dont have much money and i dont like the price being different every time

This store on Rockingham Rd. is the worst one I've EVER been in. It is almost impossible to move around with a cart. Boxes piled everywhere and the place is absolutely filthy! If I could give no stars, I would.

The store is little messy but prices are way cheaper than say Walgreens. Feminine products, body wash, and lotions are at least $3 cheaper than Walgreens, which makes a difference for something you absolutely need.

Store was a mess and very unorganized when i first moved in across the street. But new manager was getting it cleaned up well! Love how friendly the employees are!

the only clean dollar general in the quadcities in in Bettendorf down on state st. chris yhe manager doesnt play its never a mess the worst dollar general stores are on rockingham on locust st.davenport by savemore foods ,next Bettendorf on spruce hills drive but they have gotten just a hair better the one on east kimberly is to small they need a new building but when you cant find good managers its hard but chris on bett. state st. should be manager of the year every year its never a mess also she deserves a raise and manager of the year or every year i should know i used to work for her shes wounderful. you go girl.cindy S.

Every time I shop here the food is out of date. They are obviously trying to make money off of expired food because its happened way more than once. I wont be shopping at any of these stores and warning everybody

The new manager has done a wonderful job cleaning this place up. It was such a mess before but now it has to be the cleanest DG around here.

Very poor customer service and was asked to leave the store after being accused of being on a shoplifting poster in the back. When asked to see the picture the employee could not produce it. Will NEVER shop here or any other Dollar General again!

They are always closed for different reason during normal business hours. There parking lot is nasty. They are always out of stuff and there is never enough staff for help or checkout.
