I’ve taken my Australian Shepard here twice. In the 5 weeks before his second appointment they got a new groomer. I’ve very disappointed in how he was groomed the second time. My boyfriend took him in and asked for his paws, butt, and belly specifically to pay close attention to trim up good. Immediately upon seeing my dog the groomer said he needed a $20 special conditioner. My boyfriend said okay and went on about his day. He dropped him off at 10am and didn’t get a phone call until after 1pm to pick him up. She charged $97. Her work is not worth $97!!!! Don’t take your long haired dogs here! I’ll attach pictures.

Usually never do this but called and tried to get a daycare plan set up. I was told I needed to have my dog come in for an aggression test and shots records. We then set up something for today (4-13-24) at 10am. No one was on site and no one answered the phones. I have been here for over half an hour without any communication from the staff or owners. This is very unprofessional and people should be advised before coming here that appointments are not honored.

We were very disappointed in this boarding business today we went to take our dog there and the owner was not there. We waited for over an hour and he never did show. We almost missed our reservation that we had out of town. This is the second time that this has happened. He is not reliable.

My 5 month old puppy enjoys daycare with the dogs and staff members at this place! He is so happy to start the day and be with this friends. Early morning attendant meets you at the door to take your dog inside, and is very nice and friendly in demeanor! Bob and his staff do an exceptional job keeping multiple dogs at daycare and boarding safe and happy. Price is unbeatable for the quad cities! I really love that the dogs get more play time with the long hours they are open for daycare. My puppy always comes home tired and ready to wind down when we are. They also have a camera to watch your furry family members on, but I have witnessed the staff go above and beyond to care for my puppy, hold him, pick him up, and give him love and attention/let him sleep on their laps. My comfort level after witnessing their compassion got easier each time, and eventually to a point where I trusted them enough to go weeks without checking the camera while I was working!! And that is HUGE for a helicopter mom like me. I am 100% behind my word of satisfaction to recommend Animal Playground as the leading doggie daycare facility in the quad cities (I used/tried multiple). They will arrive and come home happy, safe, well socialized, and tired by the end of each day! Unfortunately we are moving this month to another state, so I am hoping my pups next daycare is as good as Animal Playground (I am very picky!). Thank you Animal Playgound staff for creating an environment that helped my puppy to grow, learn, play, and be a happy pup! We will miss you all!!!

What an amazing place. From out of town and was happy to find a place there to watch and groom my dog while I was out with friends. Reasonable and he was well cared for. He was not happy about being left but when we picked him up he was happy as well as well groomed by Lauren. If you live there you are lucky to have such a wonderful place for your dogs to be groomed and boarded. High standards and I hope they can work us in again if we visit next year.

We have been going there to get our pup groomed for about a year and a half now. We love the groomer she always does a great job. However this time we were met by someone new at the front desk when I walked in the lady looked at the clock and said that we don’t have an apt until 10 (I spoke with them about dropping our dog off early because of work schedules) She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and had no idea what was happening Skofed at me when we asked for his usual puppy cut, she was just rude with the whole encounter. Off to find a new groomer I guess. :(

This place is awesome . My Shi-Tzu has cancer, and at his last visit also had a torn ACL. They took every precaution to make sure he didn't get hurt but still came out looking his adorable self

I took my dog to be groomed by Evelyn. Thinking I'd help her relax I gave her some antianxiety med from the vet. Well apparently it was too much. She couldn't stand up for the groomerSo we have rescheduled. Evelyn could not have been any nicer. She was so understanding and will work with us on my dog's quirks. She is an older dog blind and mostly deaf. Plus she has a gimpy legAbsolutely a first class experience.

These guys might be the best in the QC. They take great care of my dog and shes always tired. Their rates are a little higher, but I feel it's worth it.We've tried other places - my dog has not been injured here nor acted hand shy after coming home. These guys treat my dog like it's their dog which I appreciate.

We usually do our dog grooming at home, but recently had our dog's nails trimmed and were very happy. The staff person was very good with our dog who was a little nervous. We walked in and got service right away. We have heard good things about the grooming service and day care there from several friends.

Called before hand for first time boarding at this place, showed up before closing. People working are super nice! Pups were left for over night. Came back to pick them up super happy and tired which made long drive a lot easier! Price was also really good for overnight! Def recommend it!

One of the best places I've taken my dogs to. The staff are always happy to see my pups every time I'm in town and they love having them there. I have yet to have an issue with my pups getting roughed up by other dogs unlike other places I've boarded them at. The place is a bit out of the way but it's worth it in my book.

My puppy stayed Thursday night thru Sunday morning. She was sunk in the tummy when we I picked her up. She didn’t look like she had been fed. I had left her food with instructions on how much she eats. When I arrived the owner went to get my dog. I witnessed him dragging her by the collar and choking her. She was in the seated position and he’s just dragging her. My pup is leash trained and walks nicely on one. I did leave her leash with them. I was handed her things including her wet bedding. I wasn’t offered a bag for her wet bedding. Owner told me it was wet and needed to be washed.It is normal for dogs to have accidents and dogs do get homesick and refuse to eat. However, it is not normal or humane to drag a dog by its collar choking it. A bag would have been nice for her wet bedding

I can’t say enough great things about this place!! I have taken both my dogs to Lauren for over 2 years now and every time she does an outstanding job!! She is so patient and loving to both of my boys and I know they are in great hands when I drop them off. The owner Bob is always so welcoming and makes sure to help me take my dogs out to my car after they’ve been groomed! I will continue to recommend anyone to this place, it’s great!

Best groomer!!! My dog had huge mattes under his ears...... Like huge. I thought he would have to be shaved here. He was returned to me like nothing happened 😱 I couldn't believe it. He was perfect 😍 they are the best. We have been going here for the past 4 years!! They are the best

not the best experience, the prices that are advertised is not what you will pay. I was told it would he 33 a day turned out to be 38, then on the last day of boarding in which I paid for a day of boarding and a day of daycare because my dog wasn't picked up before noon. so had she stayed over night again it would have been just the day of boarding. modern day crooks. records are not kept properly because I was being charged a full price after already paying a deposit. they requested a day of daycare prior to the board and that was supposed to be 17 according to the website for up to 4 hours and that was 20 dollars and I only left her there 3 hours. my pet would not be returning.

I took my dog Charlie here because I was unhappy with the place I was having cut her hair. I was so happy when she came around the corner and I saw her! She smelt amazing, looked great, everything was done that I had asked. Well priced and all the dogs at the daycare seem very happy! I will be back again!

Love taking my dogs here. Lauren has been grooming my 10 year old Golden Retriever for years and he is always happy and excited to see her! You can truly tell the employees love the dogs and take great care of them. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I cannot say enough good things about animal playground. Their prices are very reasonable and they TRULY care about the dogs. Their facility may not be as fancy as other places in the quad cities, but their staff (especially the owner Bob) are so much more compassionate than other places we have tried. I had such great peace of mind knowing my dogs were being taken care of and loved while I was busy during the day and they always came home tired! It’s also a huge perk that you are able to watch the dogs play on the webcams! I would highly recommend Animal Playground to anyone who is looking for doggie daycare, boarding, and/or grooming!

They are so good with our fur babies. We had our dog groomed. He is old and our baby does not walk well his back legs do not work well. They treated him like he was their baby. He strutted out like he was top dog. They made him feel like a king.

I took my dogs there. I offered to pay extra for them to attend the day care after they were groomed. I was told there would be no extra charge and they would be put in day care after being groomed. They lied. They never put my dogs in the day care. How do I know this? For one, when I picked them up they were put in cages immediately after being groomed: I know this because they still had loose hairs coming off of them. I also know this because my westie is 7 and very very well house broken. The second he hit the sidewalk he pee'd all over. He does not do that, he was not even allowed to use the bathroom all day! Never again.

The price for the month is great. I can bring my dog from the time they open to the time they close for no extra charge as many days as I want with the monthly package! Bobby and losa are super great and friendly! My dog loves coming here she gets so excited everytime it's time to go. If my puppy is happy I'm super happy!

We recently took a trip and left our little Benny at Animal Playground. We were very pleased with the outstanding service and the great groom he received by Melissa. We have been disappointed in other facilities but found Animal Playground to be top notch with a family oriented business.Everyone was very friendly and we will not hesitate to take him back.

A friend left her dogs in their care for five days, after picking her dogs up, one of them had open sores and wounds from them leaving a prong collar on it's neck the entire time the dog was there. I have also heard of other animals not being fed properly and neglected.

Love this place! Couldn't imagine life without them. The staff love my dog just as much as I do. The variety of dogs within the daycare is so amazing, I get such a kick out of the personalities; and yet they play so well with each other. I wouldn't take here anywhere else!

Not a place for small dogs. They lump small dogs with big dogs. Ours is 12 pounds and others were close to 100 pounds. Uhhm, NO!!! Also, a dog tried to bite her while we there. I was told that dog is a puppy. I said that puppy is already twice my dogs size. He also says it works best if all size dogs are together. Im guessing because he can have less staff if all are together. Its a NO from us and if you have a small dog I would stay away too.

Website says boarding rates are $29 a night. I was charged $31 a night. On top of that I was charged and extra night. I dropped my dog off at 1:00 pm on Saturday and I picked him up at 1:30pm on Monday. Last I checked that was 2 nights. Yet I was charge $93. I will be disputing the third night and will never be returning.

💙❤💜❗Bob & staff are gr8! They know my dogs, their needs & their quirks. I always feel welcomed, & Bob takes time 2answer my questions or concerns (I have 4 dogs!).Would recommend without question. And they have a camera system/program so that you can check in anytime 2c how things are going. Grooming is on site as well as obedience classes offered.
