Second time recently that we have taken the kids there after a special event and were told they were out of half of the flavors we ordered. Also, when I start my order, I always let them know how many things I will be orderingThe girl tonight said is that all after everything I ordered. Eight is not that hard to count.

Love the fact that they have planted wildflower, butterfly attractors along the drive thru, way to go and great use of green space. The drive thru is quick and efficient also.😄

One of the more costly DQ's but the food, more often than not, is pretty good for fast food. Same with the atmosphere, pretty good, the late shift & weekends being high school or college kids mostly so give yourself an extra couple minutes but not bad even then. You definitely can't go wrong with the ice cream treats when you have a craving.

The customer is always wrong, lol. The food and ice cream here is usually good, but the sometimes random hours and "closed on Sunday" can be frustrating, though not as frustrating as some of the staff. We drove through for a quick meal recently, the girl taking the order at drive thru couldn't wait for you to finish speaking before interrupting. Place wasn't overly busy and it wasn't close to closing time as far as I could tell, but again, random hours. Ordered a "chicken strip basket and a medium Coke", that she interrupted so I had to repeat the "and a Coke", which she confirmed, then I ordered a cheeseburger basket with a Coke, also interrupted, but repeated the "basket with a Coke," which she confirmed, and a bacon double cheeseburger by itself. Got to the window and a young man took the payment, then shoved a single Coke at us and told us to pull ahead. Tried to tell him there should be another Coke but window slammed shut and he was gone. Couple cars were waiting behind us, so we pulled out of the way. After what seemed like a really long wait, a gal comes out with the food and we explain we are missing a drink. She asks if we ordered one with the chicken strip basket, we say "yes," to which she tells us how she'll have to charge us for it if we want her to bring us one, as the chicken strip basket doesn't come with a drink. We tried to explain we already ordered it, as a separate item, but she just apologized and repeated how we'd have to pay for it because chicken strips don't come with a drink. We've ate here enough over the years we KNOW chicken strip baskets don't come with a drink BUT WE ORDERED ONE. BY ITSELF. The girl argued no matter what we said and we were tired of waiting and explaining by that point and just said, "never mind!" and left. When we opened up the food, we had two fries, two bacon double cheeseburgers, and the chicken basket. With one drink. Close, but not what we ordered, lol. Most of the time, just like this time, they don't repeat your entire order back here, nor do they give you an itemized receipt, so when staff screws up, the customer is wrong, I guess.

They sell my blizzard cake to another and now they don't even bother to give me my change back until requested and act all innocent about it. Ridiculous! Only reason for 2 stars is because it taste good.

Having the shades pulled down for what feels like three years makes us always have to question whether we can go inside to eat.A note on the door saying the dining room is open BUT the drive through may be quicker is not particularly welcoming.The chicken strip basket is advertised to now include onion rings, but it does not appear that the Creston DQ has that option. Food is tasty even though the fries were a bit soggy and Texas toast is now just plain toast.

The main place in crestion to get ice cream. Foods decent enough, but they close down in the winter because the owners can't handle the cold and they erected a huge 10 foot fence around another business that makes the drive though feel claustrophobic. It used to be a pretty open layout in the past but now it's just an eye sore.Parking: Small parking lot but most people go though drive through.

I would have given zero stars, had that been an option. The sign and online it says open until 10 pm. Went to the restaurant at 8:50, and they were already closed. Tried calling them, and imagine that! No answer! Ridiculous!

Mystery Queen in Creston Iowa what is Pleasant they always treat you kindly they always get the food just right they have an awesome lunch special that my child loves. I would continue to go there as long as they stay there the only thing I don't like about it is they close for the winter. I don't know about other people but my family likes ice cream in the winter just as well as the summer.

Showed up about 15 mins untill close on a Monday night. The drive thru was packed full. So I figured it would take forever but I was pleasantly surprised. I was at the window in a blink. The young lady was at the window immediately. She took my money, counted back correct change and gave me my 2 Oreo blizzards lickety spit. Not used to that kind of service at fast food joints anymore. So great job Dairy Queen! Give yourselves a hand.

❤ The Peanut Butter Malt tasted magnificent! Glowing review for the Creston Dairy Queen! Cashier had been professional and polite. The restaurant had been clean and had been well lighted by the large windows. The rock music set the tone for a terrific time. Note: DQ now has a TV for music selection. Nice touch!

Terrible customer service sat in line for iver 20 minutes behind 2 trucks w 5 behind us waiting on food. Order was wrong, no discount, blizzards and pop were dinky compared to DSM. Wont go back!

Went through the drive thru on April 18th about 7pm and was very disappointed. They refused to put chili on a cheeseburger. You have it. You put it on hotdogs all day long. Why can't you put it on a cheeseburger then??! They know what chili cheeseburgers are in Georgia!!

Well me and my daughter just hot a chicken strip basket from here and there was a bug crawling on our food. They were polite and gave is a new one but eewww not sure about even eating it.

I have never been so angry as I was. My blizzard was made incorrectly, or not to my liking. I took it back up and said it did not have the chocolate in it. I asked them to put some chocolate in it. ..a young man named Mason (?) Said we can't take it back. I said, well it isn't made right..can you fix it? He said I can give you some chocolate syrup. This was a BLIZZARD. You can just put chocolate syrup over it. It is a blended item! I asked yo speak with a manager and the kid pointed at another guy and said him and I are in charge so you have to talk to us. At this time, a sweet girl named Madison offered to make me a new one as Mason was giving me my money back. He said, No she has her money...you aren't making her another. That sweet girl made me another one and told him he could take it out of her pay because she would pay for it. I teared up. I had just left my sister in laws funeral and we wanted some ice cream before we hit the road. It was a horrible experience other than that sweet Madison. The other kid should be fired. He literally made me cry.

Complete and utter garbage! I'm sitting in here now waiting for my daughter to finish her cheeseburger. I didn't even take one bite of my sandwich. Not ONE bite and threw it away! What a waist of my money! I defiantly will not be back!
