Julie is the best breeder hands down . We brought our girl Nauvee home almost 11 years ago . Two years ago , we went back to purchase another puppy , as It turned out , our Ava has brought new life into our older dog . Both dogs are healthy , strong , loyal and loving . Julie takes her time to match puppy litter to future owner . She breeds for health and good temperament of each litter . Her breeding program is quality . Julie is there for you after the sale . She genuinely cares about each puppy that leaves her home . We will be getting our third puppy from Julie when the time comes . We trust her, our vet confirms the quality of her puppies , both girls are of sound mind , are very loyal and healthy . They are our “ kids “ . We purchased our pup "rex" in July 2021 from a Ruby roo and Rango litter. He is almost 1 and a half and is an awesome family dog. He has wonderful instincts and an amazing temperament. He's very big (115lbs) but so good and gentle with our kids. Exactly what we were looking for in a GSD!

For twelve years I had a special German shepherd dog friend named Lego and every step of the way Julie at Windy Acres was there. When I got him a girl shepherd so he wouldn't be lonely, Julie was there for support as well. I had to put both my dogs to sleep and both times, Julie was my emotional support. For anyone who wants a breeder who will always be there, look no further. My next dog, when I am ready, will be one from windy Acres and I will look forward to going to Cresco to meet this amazing lady and her family. She has a special place in my heart.
