I've stayed here a few times and my thoughts have stayed pretty consistent. The Wifi is always attrocious and luckily the most recent time I've stayed the front desk person knew where the router was to try and fix it. If you're going to have wifi, at least make sure it runs properly. The front desk people are never behind the desk, (except the breakfast lady who was fantastic) and you have to call them from the back room. The first room they gave me on checkin didn't even have a bed set up in it. The second room they gave me was nice. They gave my friend a room that smelled strongly of urine and when she asked for a different room they didn't have any of the type she paid for, so she had to have one with a smaller bed. Breakfast is okay but you have to ask for the main dish at the front desk. I don't know if the don't have enough staff or if they just don't clean, but the carpet on the stairs looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The bed was nice.

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly, with good water pressure in the shower, all for a reasonable price. They don't have an elevator, so when we checked in I asked for a room on the 1st floor (I'm 65 with bad knees) and they were glad to rearrange things to get us a 1st floor room. We'll definitely stay here if we pass through again.

My 3 star rating for this 2 star hotel. I'll say its probably the best you'll find in Cresco. Rooms are basic, beds were on the firm side, but i liked the local artwork in the roome. Bathroom: toilet felt about a foot off the floor and leaning forward but the shower was nice and clean. Continental breakfast was slim pickins.

Hotel was clean & normal, but what stood out was the exceptional customer service! Erin, the front desk manager, went above and beyond to help with multiple requests.During my stay I experienced some medical issues and she not only carried my things outside for me but made me feel comfortable even asking such a weird thing of a motel manager. Her attitude was very nice and she helped me getting my receipt and everything after I left in a hurry as well. She was super timely with helping me and I couldn’t be more grateful! I don’t usually stay at super 8 but after this experience I will stay there much more in the future.Thanks!

I’m a very fussy hotel guest. I was visiting family in Cresco, and this hotel seemed like the best choice. The personnel were all great. The room was a bit run down, but it was clean. I didn’t shower there, as I just wanted to hit the road In the morning and get home, so I can’t comment on the water pressure or anything. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable.The room, however, smelled funky. I’m assuming that it was the carpet. It was very unpleasant.I have two little dogs, and maybe they put me in a room reserved for travelers with pets- I don’t know. They also charged me an additional $20, which I didn’t appreciate.I didn’t stay for the breakfast, although it did look decent.I will stay there again, because I have family in Cresco, but I’d definitely ask for a different room.

We have stayed here a few times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms have always been clean and neat. For the price, you can't beat it. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but again, for the price, it works for us.

Clean, bug free, smoke free room. Front desk let us check in early. Reservation was for 2 nights. House keeping woke my husband up after the door said do not disturb. But other than that was not a bad stay at all. I would stay here again if I find myself in the area

The quality of this hotel is really great for the cost. I was skeptical, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. There are a couple large suites, one of which has a Jacuzzi and the other has a sinus living area. If you have special needs or are staying for a longer time, these rooms are a fantastic choice! The hotel is conveniently located, very close to the grocery store, a diner, and playground. The free breakfast is pretty standard fare... not my first choice, but it's convenient and free. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Very nice for a Super 8! The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. I was impressed with the breakfast as most super 8 hotels do not have hot breakfast (eggs & sausage links); the yoplait yogurt and coffee were also good. The recliner wasn't the most comfortable but the bed was nice and for the price I really can't complain!

Just stayed for 4 nights. The personel were very friendly. The room carpet was damp and smelled like stinky feet and everytime the air kicked in it smelled worse. I addressed the issues but nothing was taken care of, we used febreeze to help with the smell. Our door was also stuck and felt like we were waking up everyone. We also stayed a couple years ago and it smelled then also, needs to be updated and replace the carpet.

Hotel staff was amazing! We were in the area kayaking/camping when a big storm rolled through and demolished half of our tents just as we were getting off of the river. We came in soaking wet and the young woman working the overnight shift was so accommodating and got is all situated with rooms and extra towels. The showers were great with enough warm water for all! The rooms were clean and the beds, though only doubles, were way more comfortable than sleeping on an air mattress. She even have a great recommendation for a local pizza joint, Atomic Pizza, which was just what we needed. I wish I could remember her name, she definitely went above and beyond!! Thanks again for the warm welcome 🙂

Clean, safe, basic yet comfortable lodging.Note: We had a tornado hit town while we were there. The front desk clerk called every room to give warning & instructions. When the cloud (funnel) was thought to be closer, the clerk went up the hall knocking on each door & instructing us to get into the bathtub. Good job, lady.

I stayed here as a travel nurse. Very clean Very safe. My kitty and I stayed here. Awesome pet policy. Breakfast bar is good. Ask for the omelettes. Deb was an amazing host. She helped me with all the little bits and ends I didn't prepare for including a freak mid April snow storm. Stay here if you need lodging in cresco. FYI the cresco motel discriminates against cats. Super 8 is all inclusive.

Good value for a last min room. Booked the day of for an event in Decorah that had all the local rooms sold out. Was able to get a room for $80+tax and only a 25 min drive. Room was adequate, although the beds were a bit uncomfortable they did the trick.
