Truck driver here and the receiving department is superbly awesome! Everything from a quick delivery to an awesome greeting is all there. I love coming to Home Depot here! I’m here about one or twice a week at least. Love the people there! “Scott” is one of the amazing people in the shipping department along with “ Mr. M”that I’ve seen for a while now. Home depot Council Bluffs has a table with an employee working at it asking to fill out a card for a chance to win $200 gift card. No obligation no sales list calls or promotions according to the employee. I get a call 1.5 weeks later regarding the gift card and get disconnected. I call back and it won't take my call. I call corporate and they are clueless. I call the store and the supervisor says he will.talk to them in a.m. and call me after. He never calls. I'm assuming I won since there is no promotion or phone calls.

I went into the windows and doors department and had a quick question about my screen door closer, and I was waiting for this guy who was on a cell phone finish his conversation, and after @ 9 minutes, he gets up, still talking on A CELL PHONE, and walks away leaving me there with nobody else around, and I was shocked, he looked at me a couple of times, but never really acknowledged or addressed me. I was the only person in that department at the time, the store was not busy as usual. I've never been treated like that before, in my whole life! I will never shop that store again! I can't say that about the other locations, but this one should just close up shop and retrain these employee's on customer service 101

Unreal. Don’t order a pick up for anything from this location. They won’t have it after confirming it’s ready for pick up. They won’t even have it in the store. And you won’t get a refund for the invisible product for at least a week. Which is still before the product would arrive at the store. If I wanted it shipped - I’d select shipping…???This is my fault for having this happen before and giving them another chance.Don’t even get me started on the horrendous customer service from the clueless people that are working here. Only good experience I’ve ever had here in all my years was in the paint department. Good dude.Do not waste your time, energy or money on this store. No wonder everyone goes to Menards lol

I have never been met with such rude costumer service than i have from the self-checkout of home depot. I think her name was Amy (she had glasses on) but she was so rude and as i was proceeding to checkout i overheard her very loudly talking, obnoxiously cussing and laughing about customers looks and if they had questions once they left she would talk negatively about them she then noticed i was there and proceeded to turn around and act like it never happened. Honestly she needs to be put in the back room away from people if she were to act like this it is unacceptable and disgusting to think that home depot would hire such an embarrassment to the company.

I wish they could be a better facility, but this place totally lacking. I ordered 2 wall switches on line about 2 weeks ago $3.50 total amount. I keep getting emails from a company that has no idea what they are doing. I would drive a hundred miles to any other store just so I do not go into this joke of a company.

website sucks. mobile app even worse. hope you have all the time in the world to TRY and place an order. its gonna be a career move.Do not try to deal with customer service they are very unwilling to help. Had to exchange a non working milwaukee jacket.he flipped open a book stating they do not do milwaukee warranty work and refused to help me. The 800 number told me a very different thing. Stay away from this store horrible people.

I hope this reaches the Manger for Josh, a sales associate at the CB location!! I am late to enter this through their survey but Josh deserves recognition!!!My husband visited the CB location on on 8/27/23. He went to purchase a grill that was currently on sale. He showed up at 430pm and went right to a sales associate and asked for assistance on getting a grill down and purchased. The associate radioed a coworker and my husband waited for over 30 minutes and no one showed up to help him. Yes, he should have said something but he decided to leave without the grill. We planned to do a store pick up for the following day but that didn’t happen. We decided to go to the store the following weekend, 9/2/23 and purchase the grill since we were in town.I asked for assistance, and quickly Josh came to assist. Unfortunately, we had noticed the grill was no longer on sale which was a bummer but we were still going to purchase. We started talking with Josh and he was very quick to respond and let us know he would honor the sale price and he was more than apologetic on our last visit. He helped us to the register, and helped load the car for us with our other purchases. He was so happy to help us, and make sure we got the best customer service possible to try and make up for the past visit.We were very pleased with his service and how fast he was to make a custom happy!!Please give Josh many kudos and use him as an example for future employees 😌😌

First off, I will concede that Home Depot is my top home improvement store. I prefer the brands they carry on tools (Milwaukee and Klein). I have never had an issue in the 4 stores in Omaha. However, the Council Bluffs store has continued to disappoint and frustrate me. Example 1. 3 weeks ago, a co-worker and I left a job site from downtown Omaha to get a few miscellaneous parts to finish a job. While paying at the self checkout, we noticed a group of 5 or 6 employees looking out front window. Minutes later we discovered that they were witnessing my boss's truck being broke into. 1230 PM, in a spot towards the front, someone smashed his rear window in his truck and stole 5k of tools and electrical instruments. The lady who claimed to be manager at the time, vowed to do whatever she could for this inconvenience. As I'm writing this, I still don't think they have reached out to the owner of truck with any information.Example 2. I was with the same gentleman, on different occasion, checking out in self checkout. We had several of the same item. I believe it was electrical boxes and roughly 30 of them. He looked on top of scanner gun and tried to see if there was a way to change qty. An elderly woman comes storming up to him and scolds him, "You don't know how to do that, and you're not supposed to do that!" Her tone and attitude definitely made that trip very uncomfortable.Example 3. Earlier tonight I went in at 730-8 PM to get some electrical material. As you can see in the pictures, this proved to be impossible. The four employees that were sitting and standing on and around pallets that were around the corner clearly seen our frustration. Instead of doing anything, they looked at their phones or in the other direction. When we left the store we happened to notice the gfci underneath pro parking. Not exactly weather resistant.All 3 of these incidents happened in last 30 days and have happened in consecutive trips I believe.

We needed a new stove and home depot had a nice selection on display. They had to order the one we wanted but still only took a few days to get. It was a Samsung convection oven and so far the wife loves itIt had great reviews. They delivered and set in the kitchen so I could easily hook it up and put in position. Delivery guys were great and polite. Thumbs up homedepot

Stoped in to home depot to buy plants and mulch. I had the plants and had to wait to talk to the check out guy to ask wif they had more mulch. He said it was selling fast and he was only a check out guy. So I was going to push my cart out to get it off the parking lot. The check out guy wanted to see a receipt for the garden plants. So i decided my money was good elsewhere.

Only because of Layne was wonderful to work with. The only person behind the desk. He was so busy helping everyone all at the same time. Also, he was answering the phone that never stopped. Not even another person came to help. He even offered to buy us a drink of our choice because we had such a long wait. He should be up for an award. His pleasant nature was a blessing. Home Depot should be so glad to have an employee as a member of their family.

We picked up my daughter and son in laws kitchen cupboards. They were supposed to be ready for us and they weren't. Thanks to Alfredo and Samuel they got them all picked from out back. It took awhile but those 2 guys were amazing. . They need a good little bonus. Thanks again to Alfredo and Samuel.

I’m not a fan of this Home Depot strictly due to their no pet policy. We take our dog to Home Depot back home all the time it’s good for her therapy dog training so I was surprised to see that she was t welcome at this one. We won’t be back unless or until this policy changes.

Nice store, fun place to shop. You can find almost anything you need here. You must tell the cashiers you are a Veteran to receive the discount. They do not care to ask if you are a Veteran. That part was a sad disappointment, no we didn't get our well deserved and earned Veteran's discount.Better luck next time. Thank you ❤️ to all of our Veterans and First Responders.

My husband and I went to return something that we no longer needed. We were interested in another item that wasn’t in store and we asked if it were online. She asked for the number on that item and I asked, “which ones? She rolled her eyes and looked at my phone. It was a horrible experience with the Cashier at customer service. She was extremely rude!! Her name is Heather. Don’t go with her. Shows no interest in what the customers need or want.

I had an issue with my Hone Depot credit card and the customer service center could not help me and refer me to the store. I went to the Council Bluffs location and the gentleman at the customer service counter did everything he could to resolve my issue but when he couldn’t he called the manager (Cody) and he made sure that my issue was handled to my satisfaction. Thank you for the great customer service today!
