Have had an amazing experience here since I switched to them from using Petsmart. They even offer a rewards program for my lizard! Who knew something like that existed! They have always had his live crickets in stock and usually have pretty much all of his other items in stock as well.I wish they would carry the buffalo lungs that my dog likes though. Then it would be the all around perfect store.

Took me about 10 minutes to find an associate to help me find a product which you still don't have in stock for over a month now. When I did check out, cashier tried to charge me for more than I had and then I had to bag the cans myself. I was telling my husband about it out in the parking lot and had an associate jump all over me because I was expressing what happened inside. She also told me that I was suppose to be charged for the plastic bag I took to put my cans in, really?!?! I told her she could have the bag back, it ripped open on the way to my vehicle holding only 6 cans.

I did a walk-in for an emergency diarrhea cleanup a couple weeks ago with my little Shih Tzu, and had a wonderful experience with Sara. I made a decision to switch Martin’s grooms to Sara permanently; he had his first full groom with her this week. He’s an anxious fellow, and is very protective of his paws in particular. Sara was so patient with him, and so kind. She gave him a handsome cut, and he left Petco in a happy mood. Thank you Sara! We will see you again!

I am here just to buy crickets and a few other things and I look behind the counter at this lady, a stylist, and she is being aggressive to this BEAUTIFUL dog. She has no name tag on but she is being extremely aggressive. Never, pay petco for these things and if that is your dog I would sue!! She grabbed his paws and squeezed them, yelled at him to stop (I am behind glass and could still hear what she was saying.) She grabbed his hind leg and yanked him around like a rag doll pulling it to the side damn near out of place! That poor baby. If your dog was some sort of black doodle there on August 16th, it was more than likely your dog.

This was the absolute worse shopping/adopting experience of our lives.We came into the store as a family because my spouse doesn't drive and is disabled, and the kids are too young to leave at home alone. It was a hot spring day, not fit to leave young children in the van.My wife wanted a bird to adopt and was looking at a $450 conure. The kids were passively looking into the plastic upright cages while my wife was asking questions about the conure to an old crone employee who was cleaning the cages. The embittered dowager sales person was clearly annoyed by my spouse's question, and when she closed the cage door and came around the cage, she yelled at us for having too many people in our party.I responded that we were here to adopt a bird and was about to spend seven or eight hundred dollars on the bird and supplies for it. She crowed on that it was a "State law" only two people to a party inside the store.Now, as a resident of the state and being well-versed in COVID-19 pandemic legislation and ordinances in our area, I corrected her that the governor never issued a stay-at-home order and that the two person thing was that store's suggestion, not a law or policy. Well, she freaked out and waddled to the store manager, another dowerless old crone, who proceeded to yell from across the front of the store, "Goodbye. Have a nice day" repeatedly. We were kicked out of their store! Had they loss their minds? My wife was humiliated.I never heard of such a thing. I called Petco customer service and was on the phone almost a hour with them. They took a complaint and asked me if I wanted to speak to the district manager. I said yes and was told the DM would be given my contact information. The DM never called.Shame on Petco for treating my poor disabled wife so rudely and for not caring enough to call me back and at least explain the store manager's strange behavior. We went to three other Petco stores immediately afterward across the river while I was on hold with customer service, complaining about the Council Bluff store's treatment of us, and all three Omaha store teams were shocked and added that there was no law or policy restricting us from shopping at Petco.I want an apology from that store manager for my wife.

My past 3 experiences at Petco have been frustrating. It seems there is always at least one item that rings up a different price than what is on the shelf. Last time was a difference of $8.00. When I ask they always say we put 2 prices on shelf Rewards/non-rewards price. The dog food I purchased had a price sign with one price saying 109.99 then it ran up 123.99. Then they gave me a vital care discount to match the price listed on the shelf. Also noticed they taxed the non adjusted price not final sale price. I understand how they are pricing but it seems very misleading. I went out of my way because I knew(thought) I was going to save $8 not pay same as competitor price. I'm sure Petco won't miss my $150 monthly purchase

The staff was very helpful! They looked up the dog food I’d bought previously when I couldn’t remember and then helped me get it out to my car because my hands were full with my newborn. They even waited for me to load her and and took my cart back inside

Friendly helpful employees always ready to assist! But beware of buy some get some free promotions at this store because they do not always apply at checkout. I asked the manager why that was and he told me that I was wrong and the huge sign in front of me that said it included all of the products that I had purchased was incorrect. Not sure what's going on with the management at this store but it's getting rather pathetic,,,

PetCo is the place for all your critters needs. Dogs, cats, fish, turtles, and geckos are all on my shopping list. Fresh crickets and meal worms for Rocko the gecko , fresh live feeder fish for the red eared slider turtles El Loco and Poco, and knuckle bones for my beloved canines💕👍🏼😇🇺🇸

The staff is always friendly and helpful at this location. This is where we shop for all our cat/dog needs. The Petco Vital Care plan is also helping us save money as we typically shop here every other week. I also like that they're going green by asking shoppers to bring their own reusable bags or buy the plastic bags if needed.

Very friendly and helpful. Was looking to make a memorial name tag for our beloved cat who passed after 9 years with us and fathering 7 litters with a total of 35 kittens between 2012 and 2017 with his partner Angel. So I was very satisfied with the service I received that day. This is the collar and memorial name tag I made for our cat. Sits on our entertainment center front and center.

Worst petco I’ve ever been in. Dog pee all over the store. The manager sits in the office when it’s really busy and refuses to help his employees. Cobwebs every where in the store. Also no cashiers so you have to ring a door bell to get service and how someone will come up to check you out. Over all just a dirty disgusting store.

They have a pretty good selection on most things but have a very limited or non-existent selection for extra small dogs (Yorkshire terriers size). Sadly, they are extremely expensive compared to the same items and/or similar items sold on Amazon. I will say, the staff has always been friendly and helpful to me, which is one of the main reasons I even come back. If they could work on better pricing and selection for extra small dogs, they would have much happier customers!

Bought 5 fish last weekend. One died and when I was checking out they told me there was a 14 day return policy. So I brought it in and they told me I had to bring in a water sample.I guess I get it. Alot of people just getting into aquariums lose fish due to their own faults. But why mention your return policy if you're not going to tell me I have to bring in a water sample too. There was no print out on the receipt, nothing. So do I have to find your policies online myself.This is why you should go with a local fish store. These big chains sell bad fish and make you do the running around.

The ladies here have me at a loss for words. Their customer services sucks because they're rude. The yelled at me for trying to get my own crickets because I'm not qualified.
