Dave was so incredible to work with. He put up with our crazy cats day and night. He obviously loves animals. It was so nice to know they were in a home environment and not in a tiny enclosure. Dave continuously sent us text updates and pictures. I would recommend Dave for pet sitting and would use him again for sure!

I’m a truck driver that broke down just passing through and needed to fly home and couldn’t take my dog with me and let me tell you Dave’s Pet Care saved me in a desperate situation. He went over and beyond to help me out and even came to me and got my dog cause I didn’t have any transportation to get me around. He took very good care of my dog and sent updates and pictures the whole time. Definitely call Dave’s Pet Care if you need your dog watched you won’t be disappointed.

I cannot express enough how great the service is here! I contacted Dave at 3pm and by 3:30pm, I was dropping my pup off at one of his employees houses: Richard. Richard was the kindest person ever! He updated me the entire time Bleu(my pup) was with him, and his price was amazing. Even through the horrible storm that occurred today through Omaha and council bluffs, I didn’t worry for a second about Bleu in Richard’s care. Will 100% go back for my doggy care needs!

I came to Dave near the first of December after my sitter had fallen through for Christmas break. Dave not only picked up the phone the first time I called, he got me confirmed and booked within that same day. During my vacation, Dave sent pictures and videos of my little Husky dog and reassured me she was in good hands. On the way back home, my flight was delayed three hours and I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to pick her up at a reasonable time. Not only did Dave accommodate the crazy flight schedule, he kept my pup fed and entertained until I was able to come by at nearly midnight. Now that we’re back home and unpacked, it’s like we never left home. Dave, you continue to impress and I would hands down recommend you to anyone looking for a sitter worth their weight in gold.

These guys are awesome. I used to work around here and I always saw Dave walking dogs everywhere. Everywhere he went, they went. Walks, parks, you name it. The dogs were having a blast. So when I needed my dog boarded, he was my first go to!Don't think of it as boarding though. The pups aren't kenneled. Instead it's a doggysitting business. The dogs are made family for the time they are there! Cuddles, playtime, you name it. I much prefer my dog to be in a home where they're treated like family, and that's what happened.We boarded with Richard, and I got so many picture updates for Asha. She seemed to love it! Asha also took to Richard instantly, and she's a spot on judge of character. She came out happy as ever.Thank you guys for providing a more in-home and loving type of boarding for those of us that hate the idea of kenneling our pups for weeks. It means a lot to the community and us! We won't be going anywhere else and I'm sure Asha would be very happy coming to you guys again.

Dave’s Pet Care was the best! We went out of town last minute for the weekend and Dave answered and found us a sitter, Richard, for our dog right away! He sent lots of pictures and our dog had the best time! Dave’s was a great decision for a great price!

I was really nervous about leaving Samson with a pet sitter for a week, let alone with someone I didn’t know. I called Dave and he really set my mind at ease because he obviously cares about dogs and knows what he’s doing. Samson got some much needed socialization with other dogs and still got all the attention and pampering he needed. Dave was very accommodating with delivery and pickup times and walked Samson several times a day. Thanks Dave, I’ll definitely use you again and recommend your services in the future!

I am so happy and relieved to find Dave's Pet Care! Dave was responsive, kind, flexible and took great care of Peppy! He was walked everyday and we got daily updates. We will definitely use again and recommend to our friends needing a pet sitter.We used Dave's used again this year for an extended vacation and again were so happy with his care! Thank You Dave for taking great care of our boys! This was the first time our fur babes have been boarded. Dave made us feel comfortable as we were anxious about boarding them. Dave watched our 80 pound German shepherd mix while we went to Denver for a few days. He kept us up-to-date with photos and videos every day. I felt at ease! He did a fantastic job watching her and although she loves everybody, sometimes she gets bark friendly with random strangers, and starts barking at them, I was worried about that, but she right away was so comfortable with Dave. he truly is the dog whisperer. Walks every day keeping her active and hiding bones through the home. Haha! She was a happy girl. I was hesitant at first, but will definitely be calling Dave again when we need somewhere to board our dog.

We called Dave because we needed someone very short notice. He was so accommodating! Our dog is young and not used to new places, Dave was very patient with him and by the end of the trip, they were best friends! This was my first time to leave my fur baby so of course I was apprehensive. But Dave sent me photos and texts and videos to help quiet my anxious mind. My Benj only cried the first night, Dave reported. As far as I know, there was no report of Dave or Keianna crying so assume Benj was on his good behavior as well. SOO THANKFUL FOR DAVE!! I have an 8 month old Great Dane who is a wild child and doesn't know his size. I was worried he would be too much for Dave but he was so great with Rocky. He played with him non stop, walked him 5 miles throughout the day, and was so kind to him. The next time I brought Rocky to Dave's, Rocky went nuts with excitement.You can tell Dave just loves dogs and is really patient with them. I would highly recommend bringing your dog to Dave's for the day or overnight. I don't think my puppy has ever been as tired as he was after leaving Dave's for the day and it made my life a lot easier after a long day at work.

Dave is probably the most clutch pet sitter in the greater Omaha/Council Bluffs metro. Did some previous plan fall through, or maybe you have an emergency? Good luck getting in with a kennel, they’re booked weeks out. Rover has total randoms who may or may not be trustworthy.With Dave, he’s generally going to find a way to get your pet in the door, quickly, and for half the price I see elsewhere.I called Dave just days before a major event required our cats to be out of the house, and for quite a while… no hesitation, Dave had it covered. When circumstances required me to extend their stay not once, not twice but THREE TIMES Dave said “no problem.” You don’t find Daves out there everyday… or ever, really.Both kitties were well cared for the entire month-long stay, with photos and updates throughout. Sure, the apartment may get a bit crowded, but it’s still much bigger than a kennel. Your pet is better off here. I look forward to calling Dave the next time I need pet care, because he truly takes the hassle and worry out of the necessity of pet sitting.

I found Dave after searching local sitters. Our two dogs have never stay with anyone or outside their home. They are use to being able to run wild in the country and do their own thing. When I first reached out to Dave I had a laundry list of questions and concerns. He was very responsive and provided me with the ease I needed. Our pups were with him for a long weekend and they are a bit of hellions since they get to roam free. However, Dave provided exceptional service. He was kind, caring, and compassionate. He went on several walks a day and treated them as if they were his own.

Richard did an amazing job caring for our two labs. This was the first time we used a pet care service and he took time to go over any concerns when we arrived and regularly sent us updates and pictures of our dogs. The dogs were walked every couple of hours and Richard let us know about their business during the walks and he took the time to walk them a bit extra as he knew we were traveling after picking our dogs up again. If we are ever in the area and need pet care again we will be going with Dave's Pet Care.

I was a little nervous to leave my fur baby for the weekend. But I read the reviews on Dave's site and booked him. My fur baby ran right to him and seemed genuinely attracted to him. He sent pictures of my happy pup, they went on walks. I cannot think of a better place to leave my fur baby! Dave took very good care of Liam and will definitely use his services again! What a great experience!

Dave is awesome! I boarded my husky/boxer mix with him for about 3 days and she loved him. I was really nervous because I have never really left town without my dog and I wasn’t sure how she would react to it. But Dave seemed to make her feel really comfortable. He took really good care of her and took her on lots of walks throughout the day. He even sent me pictures and videos of her which made me feel good knowing she was in good hands. He was also super flexible with scheduling drop off and pick up times. 10/10 would recommend!
