Driving our kids back from Summer Camp we stumbled upon this little gem. Reminiscent of a by gone era, they have managed to retain the family owned (and operated) atmosphere and quality. They have an extensive menu serving very fresh burger and shakes along with several other options. I was impressed they use very fresh bib lettuce and beautiful tomatoes. The burger patty was good, not great but that didn't detract from the overall flavor. The shakes were on point and the service from the delightful family was warm and helpful. If you are in the area don't hesitate to visit and don't let the older appearance fool you.

Cute little small town burger and ice cream joint. Old school family run with delicious cheese burgers and chocolate and strawberry milkshakes. We were RVing thru and April the owner made us feel so welcome. All the locals were super friendly too.

Wow !What a cool little place.The sign says under new ownership, obviously folks who care. The food was top notch, the shake was delicious and all the staff was amazing. They treat you like family and truly care about your experience with them.Will definitely be visiting again.If your in the area don't miss out on this gem!!!

Very friendly staff when we ordered & picked up at the window. No trash laying around outside. Our son had an M&M flurry, my mom had a Twin Bing flurry and I had a Snickers flurry made with chocolate ice cream! They were very good and a nice treat at the end of our adventures.

It is such a good burger place. It’s a seasonal food place that is only open March thru the end of September. They have everything you would think of in a 1950s diner and it’s really really good. The menu is huge!

The 2 ladies working were so pleasant and friendly. Food was great (prompts) to the cook. Malts were thick like their supposed to be. We will definitely be going back.

Not a lot of food choices driving on E on US 20 in Iowa, but we lucked into finding the Valley Drive Inn and the burgers were cooked fresh, served fast, and tasted fantastic. Great spot!

Quiet little hamburger joint on the side of the road in a small sleepy town. Food was great. Kind of like a Dairy Queen without all the deserts. If you find yourself hungry and in Correctionville, stop by and have a bite to eat.

I spent 25 minutes waiting for my order. After seeing 8 people or more order, get their food I asked about my order, was told it would be right out. I saw the cook put something in the microwave and I think it was my pork tenderloin. I got the order to go walked back to my vehicle to eat. I ordered with mayo, ketchup and onion, it had onion and tomato on it and it looked like it was microwaved. Dont think I will be going back any time soon.

Got a cheeseburger, fish sandwich, and strawberry malt with extra malt. Both sandwiches were good as was the malt. We got them to go as we were traveling. Nice little drive in.

Cooks werent changing gloves and cross contaminating the food. Also noticed the cooks and waitress cough on food instead of into their elbow. One of my plates had pld crusted food underneath and along the edge. Dunno if i want to go back.. Food was either bland or over seasoned. Almost felt like no real chef love was put into the food. I am a chef so maybe im being over critical...who knows lol

Was very disappointed. We went there for supper at 730 pm on a Thursday and was turned away saying that they stopped making food because they close at 8pm.So we left.

I think that it is a good place to eat. The food is real good, the prices are reasonable, the staff are very friendly, the establishment is clean, and the atmosphere is great.

They didn't have some of the food on the menu board and my burger that I ordered with lettuce tomatoe and mayo didn't have any tomato on it. The bathroom needs alot of TLC.
