Poor customer service at the Coralville location. Today, I witnessed a customer checking out and the cashier scoffed loudly when he politely asked for a bag. She told him he already had a bag, which was full, and that giving him another bag was bad for the climate. The attitude she had towards this customer was disgusting.Complete disrespect. To make matters worse, I think the cashier was the manager of the store.

The Coralville Walgreens store does a good job of serving the local community by offering a convenient centrally located location that is probably on the way rather than out of the way. The staff tend to be helpful. There is a good selection with some seasonal changes for gifts and ornaments. They have a few grocery items similar to what you might find at a convenience store. For commuters coming to and from Coralville, or people driving by on I80. Access to the parking area is easy for people heading south on Mormon Trek. Those heading north on Mormon Trek will need to turn against cross traffic. There is also easy access when in the east bound lane of 2nd Street (Hwy 6).

Made an order for pickup. Didn’t have anything ready or know how to do the pickup. Said they’d grab the stuff for me. I found it before they did. Didn’t have anything in stock like the app said so I just got a refund and left. Waste of time and frustrating.

My wife and I are from Illinois and had our baby airlifted to the Children's hospital due to an illness all the while my wife and I are sick in an unknown state and scared out of our minds. So, we headed to Walgreens for Muxinex, Sudafed, etc. and as we got to the door, the woman said, “we’re closed”, closed the door and locked it at 7:57 pm. It was wonderful…

Agree with one star from most reviewers. We stop by today and wait more than 20 minutes. The lady is very rude and does not even say hi, just make us waiting for 20 minutes, while she is working on "beautifying" a photo for another guy. We would expect at least some explanation or info about how long we need to wait. So I agree with one star, perhaps for the whole store

Had wisdom teeth out today and was told my script would be ready. Was not ready until 7:30pm. Went and waited in line at 7:30 and waited behind 2 cars for 30 mins. Right before I pulled up to window, they shut off lights and closed it. Guess I’ll be in pain all night even after waiting thank you for horrible customer service

Very poor customer service from the lady behind the counter. She had no idea about the two products linked into an offer and had to call another person to help out who agreed that I was correct on the offer. When I went back to bill it, she again disagreed and called the same person who finally helped her bill the items himself. After being incorrect with no knowledge of their own offers, she made a snide comment that I was argumentative. At this point, their card reader malfunctioned and she quickly jumped to the conclusion that my credit card didn't work!

I went for taking a passport photo for my child and asked for a “soft copy”. The guy in the counter said he will ask his supervisor to approve giving soft copy. He made me to wait with the child for more than 40 minutes and said yes we could give. Finally his supervisor came and said that it’s not possible. Is this the way you treat your customer? It was the worst service I ever got

I was in Walgreens to pick up money from Western Union. I was having a hard time with putting information in correctly. After the 2nd time I was getting embarrassed and flustered. Chris the manager went above and beyond to help me. He had 2 or 3 other things going on and he still managed to make me feel welcome in the store..great customer service is hard to find lately. Chris did amazing!

Time of visit: 10/17/2017 at 7:30pm. Stopped there to pick up a FedEx package. I walk to the photo department to pick up my package. The older gentleman (gray hair) behind the counter spends 5 minutes attempting to avoid eye contact with me. He was not busy doing anything. He's looking at his phone. I finally ask him if there is anyone who maybe could help me. He doesn't say a word, he turns around and then answers a call on his iPhone. I turn around and look at other employees who are all just ignoring the fact that I'm standing there. It took almost 10 minutes to finally get someone to hand me my package so I could leave. This store is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. I'd like to hope that Walgreens would attempt to change out management at the store and get people qualified to be customer service representatives to represent their brand.

I just went through drive through to get a COVID test. I had to wait at the window for 8 minutes before being acknowledged. I then had to open ALL of the items. I then was told it would be 2-5 days to get my results. I was NOT provided the option of the Rapid test; which is advertised online. This was my second test done at this same location and the difference was night and day.

I love Walgreens as my pharmacy. I travel and it's nice to have a nationwide pharmacy to go to wherever I'm at. The employees nationwide are so friendly and so wonderful and try so hard to help you with what you need.

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. They always have a million issues with my insurance even though my prescriptions fill just fine at UIHC. Finally just transferred all prescriptions to UIHC even though Walgreens is closer because the customer service is so bad. Also waited at the register for 15 mins the other morning for a cashier, it was totally empty and no self-checkout option.

The absolute WORST pharmacy with the WORST service I've ever been to! I finally switched to another pharmacy. Every time I was there, I waited for at least half an hour. They are so slow. Even when just picking up a prescription, it was a 30 minute wait. And then there were all the times they messed up my prescriptions. They hot my doctor's orders wrong twice, gave me the wrong number of pills once, and then they lost the refills on 2 of my prescriptions. Don't go here!

DO NOT GET YOUR COVID TEST DONE HERE! very bad customer service. One day to get to the testing centers and then they do not follow up, it’s now Aegis responsibility. Aegis customer service is horrendous. They do not care and don’t meet their timelines. Missed 2 flights and had to get another COVID test (paid) which still came before their results. Would not recommend at all!

I trekked all the way here a from my dorm alone because I had a gift card and had some things I needed to buy, since I’m a broke college student. I checked the balance on my card right beforehand and had $50 on it. Their gift card swiper machine wasn’t working and they didn’t know another way to enter the gift card, so made me choose to pay a different way or to void it, and didn’t offer to have me wait for a manager, or compensate me or anything. Sad day.

Went to pharmacy in drive Thur tonight @ 6:15 then again @7:30 to pick up my order and both times it was same girl and both times she was rude , very short and hung up phone when I asked where my card was I had to knock in window. Then the pharmacist rolled her eyes at me when I asked what that girl name was DDana or Dianneshe told me and I said can you please write it down on my prescription before you hand it to me and she’s like I don’t have a pen!! Worst Walgreens ever been to.

Normally, I would rate this Walgreens a 5 stars but just yesterday I found out that the pharmacy mixed up my prescriptions with someone else's prescriptions. The pharmacist or pharmacy technician placed my medications in someone else's medicine bag. Luckily, the person who received my medications, returned them but keep the information sheet to my medications which has my personal information like my address, phone number and so on. Then, the pharmacist on duty yesterday Sept 13th, 2020 decided that they did not need to replace the medications or the bottles in which they (the medications) were returned in. There was no verification that the medications were not tampered with. In other words, the pharmacy and/or pharmacist choose not to follow protocols required when such events occur. I plan on taking this matter up with the manager of the pharmacy and of Walgreens today because I was too upset yesterday. So, PLEASE BE CAREFUL when ordering your medicine here at this location. Be sure protocols are enforced and followed to the letter.

Good selection of things BUT the bathrooms smell like someone ate rotten eggs and had explosive diarrhea. I don’t think the restrooms have been cleaned since they opened. I’d rather piss myself before using their bathroom ever again. Paper towel dispenser is broken so instead of removing it, they wrote on it with sharpie saying “ broken use this one”. Always classy.

I walked in christmas day to purchase a card right when they opened. The older woman behind the counter obviously did not want to be there, which makes sense who wants to work on christmas but if you're there you are there. She grumbled at me when i walked up to pay for the card and didnt say a single thing to me while she rung me up. She acted annoyed that god forbid i would walk into a walgreens while it was open. This is the second time i have received poor customer service from her and will drive to iowa city or north liberty next time i refill a perscription

I've had it with this place. I understand that they're pretty busy most of the time, but there's absolutely no communication between the pharmacists and the customer concerning how long a prescription fill will take place. This time I was told to wait while the pharmacist released my prescription for a packaged behind-the-counter drug. I waited patiently for nearly a half hour while others dropped off their prescriptions, waited a few minutes and had them refilled right in front of me. When I went up to the counter again and asked about mine, I was told that the pharmacist wasn't around and that I had to wait another 20 minutes. Two other times in the past I was given the wrong date for a monthly refill. I wouldn't have discovered that had I not taken the prescription to another pharmacy, who gave me the correct date that I could go pick it up. The Walgreens pharmacy on Muscatine Ave. offers much better service, but after this last experience I'm done with shopping at any of the local locations ever again. Hy-Vee will be receiving all of my business from now on.

I have always had a good experience here at this walgreens. They always have my prescriptions and I usually only have to wait 15 minutes or so if they are not ready for me. The rewards member card pays off because I shop there so much!

Every time I have gone to pick up my prescription at the time it’s supposed to be ready I have to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare my prescription, despite them calling me telling me it’s ready. I’m so sick of going there, last time I asked the man behind the counter to give me 2 months worth of my prescription so I could avoid going back, he charged me for 2 months worth and it was in a bigger bottle, but I counted the pills and there were only 30.

I went inside bleeding through my pants and out my foot and out of my arm . I was obviously limping and had just been injured. Not a single employee asked if I needed help. I couldn't find the hydrogen peroxide AT ALL and NO ONE would help me when I was INJURED. Then, when I hobbled back to the counter a customer made a specific EFFORT to be in front of me. Why was I not helped over a chick who needed to buy SLIMQUICK?! Then, when trying to just buy supplies because I was INJURED she asked for a REWARDS card and tought it was funny that I couldnt get the change in my wallet. I was an hour from home, so I couldn't just use my supplies, I still had classes to go to. If you need something more than SLIMQUICK, don'the go here.
