Stopped in to visit with Angel from Unleashed who does cat adoptions at the store. Ended up leaving with three bettas after realizing some of them had been in those tiny plastic containers for months. One on display was even deceased. The pet trade is a horrible trade, but if it must continue the animals need to be taken care of accordingly. The staff did give me a discount on the longtime resident fish, which corporate should do markdowns on the fish that aren’t moving to begin with. Some staff seemed to do nothing, nor care but others were great. Clean store, great selection of products.

Came in to buy a beta fish with my daughter. They will not sell beta fish with beta tanks... 🙄Why sell tanks for betas....if you won't sell the fish with them? Beta fish don't get bigger, and do not require a 3+gallon tank.And if these rules have changed. All of your 2.5g and below tanks should be pulled from the shelf as they cannot be used for betas...

We had a great experience overall having our German Shepard groomed here at Petsmart. They were kind and professional to work with. They took great care of my boy and he looks amazing. It really means alot to me, and I will be back. We've already scheduled his next appointment.

I recently visited PetSmart in Coralville, IA, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. As a proud parent to Parker, my 2-year-old West Highland White Terrier, finding the right products is crucial for me. This store had everything I needed and more.The highlight of my visit was discovering their Christmas advent calendars for dogs. These calendars are just perfect for getting Parker into the festive spirit. I picked up four of them, and to my pleasant surprise, the fourth one was free! This kind of deal is not something you see every day.Additionally, I was able to replenish Parker’s supply of Kong Peanut Butter, his absolute favorite. The store's selection of products is impressive, and the staff was incredibly helpful, guiding me through the various options available.I appreciate the store's commitment to offering quality products at reasonable prices, and the friendly, pet-loving atmosphere made our shopping trip even more enjoyable. Parker and I will definitely be returning to PetSmart Coralville for our future pet needs. Highly recommended for pet owners looking for a great selection and excellent deals!A quick shoutout to Dana, in the Grooming Salon. She takes wonderful care of Parker for us!

Took my poodle to get groomed which includes a bath, paw/pad and sanitary trim but none of those things occurred since her paws weren't tidied up and she still had little dingleberries and eye boogies that weren't cleaned up. Seems like I only paid for her to get blow dried and they didn't even blow out her little afro. I’m wondering what they actually did for those two hours because it wasn’t washing the dog.

They nicked my dogs skin tag on his ear (no big deal) called me and told me after completing half the hair cut they can no longer proceed because of my dogs injury and they will be taking him to the emergency vet. I said I do not consent to this you cannot take my dog anywhere. They said again they would be taking him there against my wishes. I’m very upset with this manager. They wouldn’t finish the haircut until after his “injuries” heal so I have a half short shaved half long curly haired golden doodle for the next 3 weeks. This is how long the healing time would be before they will shave him again. Very unprofessional. I will not be back.

This pet store is the best in our area! Friendly & knowledgeable staff (always masked or shielded during the pandemic), a great variety of small pets, and an extensive collection of pet supplies. But honestly, it comes back to the staff. They have spent hours with us setting up our budgies and then our aquarium. Do I have to drive out to Coralville? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

After waiting almost 3 weeks for an appointment for my puppy to get groomed, I show up with ALL of his up to date vaccines. They denied me getting him groomed because they lied and said he needed his vaccine for rabies when he's under four months of age. I was NEVER told that they couldn't be handwritten by HIS VET. Kade the manager was just unreal. My time off work, my puppy having to wait even longer to find a hair cut and the un professionalism was just astonishing.

I took my dog Leo here for a bath and brush and upgraded him to the Hempz wash. He smells and looks amazing. His fur has never been softer, and his nails, paws, and excess fur were taken care of. I could not have asked for anything better. Lori M did an amazing job and my dog seemed to love her! He has terrible allergies and he seems so relieved and happy! I will for sure book his next grooming here as well. My Pit bull- german shepherd was welcomed with open arms and he loved being there! Will go here for all my grooming needs in the future.

Their staff is seriously so great. Kudos to the associate tonight who I called at 8:50pm when our chonky boi needed his allergy meds and we realized we were fresh out of pill pockets. I called to let her know my hubs was on the way there 10mins before they closed and she was so kind to go get the pill pockets in his favorite flavor and hold them at the register until hubs got there. ❤️ People who care about animals make it happen and their staff absolutely do.

Use to bring my doodle into lady named Alyssa who did a great job. Alyssa no longer works there so I went with another associate and I almost cried picking up my dog. The haircut was one of the greatest atrocities ever committed in history. I don’t even want to post before and after pictures on here because it’s too embarrassing what that fat pig groomer did to my sweet girl. Do not take dog breeds there that require any semblance of groomer skill. The groomers are all fat tattooed cigarette smoking savages. I am sulking on my couch right now looking at old pictures of my dog like a relative just died. Awful.

I brought my dog here for the bath and brush service. After we got her home, we found her ear was not cleaned at all. The ear clean should be included in the package we purchased. So we called the store, and they told me we could bring her back the next day. However, when we brought her there, they just used an alcohol pad to wipe her ears and told us that her ears were clean. But I can still see the ear full of wax which is very obvious. I cannot believe that it is the service of a $50 bath. I bought all my dog’s treats, toys, food, and cloth here. Their service has totally hurt the feeling of a loyal customer. I would not recommend anyone bring their dog to take a bath at this location

Fun & uplifting, because of the shelter cats. I noticed a sign that said adoption, so I went inside to e what that was all about. Sure enough, they have cats onsight so you can play with them, and ultimately take them to their new forever home. They come from two local/nearby no-kill smelters. It will make you feel good and those little guys are so cute. Great job PetSmart, because of this at, and because the workers asked me if I needed anything, and were also cleaning & busy, I highly recommend this place.

I had scheduled a grooming appt for my 2 dogs which I get groomed about once a month. The day of my Saturday appt PetSmart called and said I could come in earlier (Memorial weekend) and I did appease arrived at 12:45 instead of 1:30. I got there and was told I only booked for baths and nail grinds for both. I have a Maltese who gets a haircut or trim every single time. The “girl” Amy who was speaking for the other 2 associates standing beside her said unfortunately they didn’t have time to do a cut or trim even though I came in early…This is what’s wrong with store employees these days there’s no true customer service. It would have taken 15 minutes just to trim around her face, tail and feet. PetSmart has lost my business entirely because of one employee who was smirking when I told her I’d be taking my business elsewhere.

Megan took care of my cats nail trims every month. My cat is honestly a nightmare when taking him to the vet or groomers. But Megan always handled him really well and got his nails trimmed in less than five minutes and did such an amazing job. We moved recently and we miss her so much😭

Had everything we needed and employees were super nice and helped us with tips we asked for for our new lizard. Unfortunately one of the bulbs were bought were broken. The broken shards weren't even in the box so I'm guessing it was from the manufacturer. Not their fault

This store has a wide selection of premium dog and cat food. I have recently had to stop in the store frequently because my dog had puppies and I was able to find everything the little ones have needed. The staff is very kind and helpful.

I came and looking for something specific, It's called Angry Orange. I was pleased to see that they had it. I spent a lot of time walking around the store checking out all the different animals. They are so cute. I will definitely be coming back. The checkout lady was extremely nice.

Not Happy with my Dogs grooming. I asked for the same service she's had in the past, they lady said ok It's in her file. Well apparently NOT! MY DOG WAS CUT UNEVEN IN ALOT PLACES... her ears and tail was butchered when they should have only been brushed not cut at all!!! I will not be taking my dog back here again!
