I love taking Buddie to be groomed at Stylin Paws. They are very skilled and absolutely love the animals. He always comes home looking very handsome. I would recommend this business for your pet/baby.

Very good. I'd say they should allow to tip after we can see our dogs. You pay upfront before dog is handed to you. I don't think it would change how much but once we were not so happy with the haircut and we would've likely pay less in tip.

I was not happy with my first experience at Stylin Paws, as I dropped Honey off the stylist felt under Honeys neck and said she felt a few knots so she might have to cut her shorted; when I picked up my dog; the stylist referred to her as a boy; I didn’t even recognize her when they brought her out; she was completely shaved with lines all over her body from the uneven job; my son could have gave her that hair cut at home with our cattle clipper and I wouldn’t have had to pay $80 for a hair cut! If I would have known that this was going to happen I would have took her home right away. She went into hiding because she was so scared and embarrassed that she lost all her hair. Also a few days after I was looking in her ears and they were not completely cleaned and she itches at them all the time also her nails didn’t get filed down. I probably won’t be going back

Wynter always does such a great job with Charm and Kevin! Love bringing them here knowing they'll always be well cared for. Plus the shop is super cute and the staff are very friendly. It's constantly super busy with other patrons coming and going. And oh my goodness, the bandanas are to die for.

Nice place, was able to wash my puppy, it’s hard to find places to wash puppies as a truck driver. Great location next to the Pilot travel center. The staff are super nice and seem to love their jobs :) I mean what would you hate about playing with animals everyday. My Journey is all clean. Will definitely be back a lot now that I’ve found this place.

They do a great job! He comes home trimmed very nicely and evenly, his fur is extra soft and fluffy. So happy to be using Stylin Paws and will continue to do so!

Heard about their self-service dog wash on the Waukee Talkee Facebook page. Double checked their website this past Sunday and it stated that they did in fact have a self-service dog wash available. Tried calling the phone number, but no answer and no message to listen to. Loaded up my pup and drove 20 minutes to find the business dark, door locked, and a note on the door that the self-service dog wash was not available. The sign suggested to go to the Indoor Dog Playground on 121st in Urbandale. Nope. I drove to Perry and used the dog wash at the car wash instead.Edit 09.30.2023: I get being short staffed. I don’t get properly informing current and potential customers.

I scheduled an appointment a few days ago. Called to reschedule and good thing too since they said they didn’t have me in the system. I would have shown up to be told I didn’t have an appointment. I tried to reschedule for July but apparently they don’t take bigger dogs on the weekends. Then I was hung up on mid sentence.

Such an awesome store! Took my puppy to get her nails trimmed for the first time today and Chloe was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and my puppy’s nails look great! I loved shopping around and looking at their wide selection of cool toys, treats and apparel while Poppy was in the back. I took longer shopping than the nail trim! Chloe even took the time to help me pick a brush that will suit her fur best. Such a fun place with a super helpful team! We can’t wait to go back.

We love Stylin Paws! Our dog knows as soon as we pull up where he is and is so excited. His daily report card that we receive shows a very happy dog having fun. He comes home worn out and happy. He loves Stylin Paws and it shows! The indoor dog park is great especially with Iowa weather. Great staff that have always been very responsive to anything we need and they know and love Benny!

This place is the best. I was skeptical at first but our dog Burke loves it here. The staff is top notch and Burke cant wait to get in there to go to day stay. He also started getting groomed there and no complaints! Morgan and Paige seem to be his favorite. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, they take good care of your dogs.

I'm new to the area and have had trouble finding a good groomer. I see Stylin Paws and looks like maybe the place for me.. except approximately 1 month ago I scheduled an appointment with my dog to get groomed. I called this morning to Verify a time and they don't have me anywhere in the system or the log book. So now I have to look for another groomer and my dog is well over due for a bath and to get groomed. And most wait times are a month... So thanks Stylin Paws for this Unpleasant experience with your Company.

Literally the best place you can take your dog. I went in to get my 1yr old dog groomed and he ended up loving the people there so much! I got to chatting with the owners and workers and they are seriously the nicest people. I liked them so much that I started taking my dog to daycare there! He absolutely loves it. Highly recommend.

Make sure to call before spending a significant amount of time filling out the form for grooming if you are a potential new client. My father of 80 years spent a long time filling it out only to discover they aren’t taking new clients. Not hard to update their website to say that which I validated isn’t posted.

Mallory was great with our dog! She initially asked if there was something in particular that we wanted - haircut-wise. When we said there wasn't anything in particular - that we wanted - she then took time to tell us what her "vision" was, and asked if there was anything different that we would prefer to do. The haircut was fantastic and our pup really seemed to enjoy her time, there. We will definitely be returning, again!

Although they seem to do a relatively good job at the grooming itself, they cut my dog's neck, requiring stitches (1 inch laceration caused by grooming clippers). They comped the haircut, but charged me for my other dog, despite the inconvenience of having to now deal with a dog with stitches, sedation, and antibiotics, and totally rearranging my schedule and canceling other appointments today so I can take care of my dog and an unexpected vet appointment. Obviously not impressed. This is the second time a groomer (different grooming company) has hurt my dog, requiring a vet visit. Both my dogs are small and patient. Are there no reliable groomers in Des Moines?!Update: 7/14/21, I have no idea why they thought I should be happy to pay for my other dog (they didn't ask, they just directed me to the cash register). Also, just to be clear, the vet said that the laceration was very close to my dog's jugular (hence the sedation), so I guess I was lucky it wasn't even worse. I had to go buy a special harness because now I can't have a collar on my dog for several weeks, and I have to take my dog back to the vet to have staples removed -- that's the *best* case scenario. Nobody is paying for any of that (harness and inconvenience imposed). They act like taking my dog to the vet and paying the vet bills is something I should be happy about. That's the LEAST they could do, unless they wanted a lawsuit (obviously the dog was in their care, so having its neck cut open with a flap of skin flailing about would be THEIR responsibility. Doing anything less would be compounding *nonfeasance* on top of *misfeasance*).

Stylin Paws did really well with my two dogs. They're both pretty small and I never take them to get groomed, I usually do it myself. The atmosphere was great and my girls looked super cute when they were all finished. Sadly, they caught kennel cough and showed signs about 24-48 hours afterward. Not anyone's fault, but it's turned into pneumonia for my littlest. I would totally take them here again because they did do really well and they were very nice, but I think I'll keep doing it myself. Maybe next dog I will take here and start it off young getting groomed! That might help the immune system toughen up. Thanks for your service Stylin Paws!

Been taking my dogs here for two years. Pricing has increased, service has steadily declined. My dog was butchered today and you can’t even tell she’s a mini golden doodle. Told she was shaved due to matting which was NOT true. Stylist was lazy and took fast, easy route to groom. Cancelled all future appointments and will never go back! Extremely disappointed 😡

Absolutely hands-down the best! Everyone is so friendly and my dog always comes home looking great. Lacey does a wonderful job with her! And my dog can be quite hyper so that's pretty awesome that she still does such a great job with her.
