This place is hit and miss what really pissed me off is when I asked an employee if I could see some leopard geckos that were hidden under the hide he went into that I could not handle them. That is NOT what I asked him and he seemed like he didn't know what he was doing and reluctant to show them to me so I left and went to other location and ending up purchasing 2 from that store instead. Your store lost the sale it's too bad I have to travel out of my way to get treated like an actual customer. I highly recommend going to the other store or maybe even Petco than here!

The service here is always amazing. The food is always on point. They always remember the sauces if we order some. There are no complaints here, ever.I would highly recommend the Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap!

I got my kitty, Leo, at this pet smart. He was well taken care of before i got him and gave him a forever home. They also have lots and lots of varieties of treats, food, and toys. You can never go without! They have lots of nice things and the store is always clean. I have never had an issue at this store! I recommend pet smart. My mother also took her dog there for doggy training and they were absolutely wonderful with her!! Treated her so kind and taught her many tricks.

I can't say enough good things about Allison. She's an excellent trainer and truly cares about the dogs and families she is helping. We have also used the doggie daycamp and grooming services and the employees we have encountered have all been fantastic.

We buy our doggo snacks and food here. They always have competitive prices and there are always doggos to say hello to. I like that they let you bring your pets in. The cashiers are always super helpful and they even have doggy daycare which our labradoodle loves. Thank you !!

This place is ok. I come here to get my dog groomed. The grooming service is unpredictable. The service is dependent on how busy they are and what kind of day they are having. Its never consistent.

I can't say enough about this petsmart! All employees are friendly and knowledgeable. We take our dog for advanced training and for day camp, all fairly priced! Allison is our trainer and she is VERY good. They have all levels of training and a good over night day care!

We were in dire need of a cut for our shih tsu after having to cancel our regular appointment somewhere else. They were able to squeeze us in short notice. Amy listened to my requests for the cut and did exactly as I asked! Marty looks great!

Due to chronic pancreatitis, our little mini pin needed a special dry dog food (not prescription) and a plant based dental chew and we found both here. I had a little trouble finding the chew as I thought it would be with the other dental chews. An associate told me what I was looking for was in the wellness area. The associates are very friendly and helpful! All around, a wonderful experience!!

We went in and bought a fish tank, two fish and all the needed items for the fish tank. One of our fish died within 12 hours. We called the Clive store (within 14 days) and an employee said a photo of the dead fish and receipt would allow for us to get a new fish, we even asked that they didn’t need the dead fish multiple times. We thought it was odd to not bring the fish in but we’re thankful we could dispose before our son noticed. When going to exchange, the manager indicated that the fish was required. We went back and forth and she was very rude, unsupportive and didn’t care to help fix the problem. It’s a shame to receive this type of customer service for a more expensive fish in addition to all the money we spend for the tank, etc. I do not recommend and we will not be back.

I always find what I need in this place, staff Is always extremely helpful and understanding about my pets. I have rats and everyone is always excited to see them as I bring one specific one to shop with me. I even got my dog a hair appointment here same day care and it was fairly inexpensive for a bath, nail trim and ear cleaning. 10/10

Mandy was our groomer. I had to give my dog a bath as soon as we got home and I had to trim patches of hair that she missed.

Selection of available fish is small, many of the tanks are empty. Betta fish are always a decent price and the staff was helpful and friendly. It should also be said that many of the tanks that were stocked were stocked nicely with many fish looking healthy. However, I would advise not buying any decor from this place as the prices don't beat those of other competitors when compared on sale.

The guys there were so nice, and helpful! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, but when I got there it wasn't as simple. One of the guys who greeted me directed me where I needed to go. After a few minutes he came to check on me, and I was GRATEFUL! He immediately found me what I was looking for, and at a BETTER PRICE than what I originally had picked up too! Recommended an awesome treat for our mouse as well. I was on crutches at the time, so he even carried the stuff up to the register for me. THEN, the guy who rung up the transaction even carried my purchase ALL the way to MY CAR FOR ME!!! LOVE the service here, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make THIS LOCATION a stop for ANY ANIMAL LOVER!!!☺️

I have been bringing my pets to the groomers here for 15 years. I complained one time about a poor job trimming my dogs nails and they were upset that they had to do it over for free, and told my wife that directly before they did the work over. They took the dog and brought her back with 3 bloody nails. She has never had this before. They said she was being difficult. Which she never has been. After complaining to the store manager about the way my wife was treated and then abused my 7 year old Great Diane I asked for an apology from the employee which I was denied and offered no more assistance. The store manager said I should take my business elsewhere. Which I did and I would not recommend them for any services.

Had a good variety of food and pet accessories that we were looking at reasonable prices. Their pet training was underway and seemed to be going well. Not sure I'd recommend buying a bird from them. They looked a little rough. Feathers tattered. All other pets looked well.

Made a reservation for a vacation and was told that would not board my dog at the last minute because I was told I left a negative review, which I didn't until now. Then when I questioned this they said it was because of Dakota not liking the conversation between her and my wife. Then when this was also questioned they said it was because they were called racists( keep in mind the phone calls are recorded and this is not true, the only person to make assumptions on race was Brad) Shame on Brad and Dakota! They will be held responsible for the money I spent for a vacation that I will not be able to take and will be hearing from my attorney very soon. Enjoy your jobs while you still have them!
