The first time that we have been here we were greeted by friendly and smiling staff. Shocked that we had never been there before they explained the menu for us. The ice cream is soft serve only, however, they have a variety of flavors, dips and toppings. Shakes, banana splits, sundaes and other treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. I felt the prices were reasonable as I purchased 2 large dipped ice cream, 2 large hot fudge sundaes with a variety of toppings and a large shake for my adult family of 5 for under $25.00. I would highly recommend visiting the next time you want a dairy treat.

I’m not sure how ice cream can taste differently from place to place, BUT IT CAN! This is a hidden gem in Clinton. The service was awesome. If it’s not on the menu, they will mix it up for you. In the words of my son, “This is amazing!” I will be back to try other things or concoctions!

I will definitely be coming to this ice cream place for the rest of my life and it would totally be worth it. They have a very wide selection of ways to have ice cream like shakes, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, and personal favorite frost bites.

BEST ICE CREAM PLACE IN CLINTON, IOWA. Our family was looking for a good, local ice cream shop when we moved out here and boy did we find one. The ice cream they make is amazing, the raspberry ice cream being my personal favorite. It has the perfect small town, welcoming atmosphere great for those humid mid west days!

Best ice-cream in Clinton Iowa! Portions are huge. First time I ordered a small twist ice-cream cone and my husband brought it out to me I thought they made a mistake but nope everything is just bigger than other places.

Prices are reasonable considering worse. Located ice cream is always good. They make a great turtle sundae otherwise it's usually just the twist dip cone

If I could rate zero stars I would!!! The owner seems like he doesn’t like people that’s different from… And he treats his employees like animals and he threatened to fire one of his employees in front of me, it was so unprofessional!! The employee was crying in front of us and he made her do some unnecessary degrading cleaning!! I felt so bad and I left I didn’t want no more ice cream and I’m never going back!! The ice cream might be good but the respect is not there!! I felt bad for the employee.

Several soft serve flavors, even more flavors of dips (I got strawberry soft-serve in banana dip, my boyfriend got vanilla ice cream in birthday cake dip. Could have also gotten a hard dip, shake, malt, or sundae. Will be coming back

I absolutely adore this place! Best ice cream I've ever had (besides home made of course!) Their strawberry ice cream deserves a shoutout, I tastes like the artificial stuff, but also tastes like real strawberries!

Nice spot and less hectic than franchises like DQ or Culver's. Outdoor seating available and friendly staff. Good prices and pet friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good local-owned ice cream shop.

Carol's has been a favorite for a long time. Great selection of dairy treats and a lot of unique items. Good prices. They now have fresh baked breads and rolls. Delicious all around!

Home made ice cream just a bit north out of town (Clinton IA) on 3rd ave north. We Google mapped it.. . many flavors. Two doors in. Visa and Master Card Accepted. There are benches outside and a few tables inside. You can eat inside because it's IOWA.🍦🍨🍦🍨🍧🍦🍨🍦

I applied for a job there and the manager said he would get back to me, nearly a month later he calls me back and tells me that we can meet so he can explain to me about the job. I have never heard back from him and heard from multiple people that the manager treats his workers horribly, tries to get them to quit so he doesn’t have to fire them, is a “pervert”, and treats customers badly. The ice cream isn’t even superior to the other options available. I’m glad that I didn’t get the job because I am perfectly happy at my job right now

Local landmark! They have common things on the menu, and uncommon things they have come up with by themselves! The staff is friendly, and we love seeing pictures of us still hanging up from when we were young!

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother and little brother and sister have been coming here for months but today I came along. We ordered ice cream and when they were all made we saw we had an extra. We had not ordered an extra, but we would’ve been happy to pay for it, however the main man didn’t wanna say he made a mistake and chunked it in the garbage can. He proceeded to be so passive aggressive, telling us that he loses a hundred dollars a day in situations like this. He told the girl working the counter(who was very sweet, I feel bad she had to deal with it)”you have to ask 5 or 6 times so this doesn’t happen and people know what they want.” Mind you, we had already tipped them the whole price of that extra ice cream. I am praying for this man to lose his bitterness. We will not be going back. So they lost much more than the price of one cup of ice cream.

The owner was so rude. He made a mistake and made an extra ice cream then chunked it in the garbage and proceeded to go on and on about how orders need to be verified 5 or 6 times because people don’t know what they want. The whole issue could have been avoided if he would have verified it once! Will never go back!!
