I go here every time I am in Iowa. Great service. The meat counter always looks nice and ground beef is better than what I get in Illinois.

Fareway is an alright grocery store, in my opinion. I've had a couple of complaints,but I keep them to myself in hopes they will be rectified the next time I come in. Until something happens on a constant basis, I'll be fair. Wish prices would improve, but that's the same everywhere, you shop.

It's like shopping in an old fashioned grocery store in a very good way.We go there for the meat counter that is the finest meat quality I have found at a reasonable price.Just outstanding customer service from the meat counter to the check out to the employee that comes out to the car with you, loads your purchased items into your car and takes the cart back into the store.Don't miss the opportunity to step back into time and experience a grocery store that went away a long time ago!

It's a shame when you get groceries then buy a 4pk of wine coolers ONLY to be carded. If you can't look at someone & THINK hey..they must be over 40 then maybe you shouldn't be selling alcohol

Brought my gift certificate in from my employer and the butcher at the meat counter politely said they were out of the brand of ham we could get. But then said the store has upgraded to the next grade of ham for same certificate. MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅 🎄 ❤

I love shopping here I always get good quality food/meats. I’m generally in and out pretty quickly. Customer service is awesome! I love their Christian values and remaining closed on Sundays to remember the sabbath! I don’t spend my money anywhere else unless I absolutely have too....

Cashier Beth in express lane is very rude, horrible customer service!! The bag of potatoes I purchased were horrible, most were bruised halfway to the middle and had to just toss a lot in the trash. Will definitely take the trip across town to hyvee next time!!!

Will organize. Fruits and vegetables very fresh shelfs each to read. Not cluttered not in wrong places, there meat deportment in will done very fresh just enough to pick from, 5 stairs for cleanliness, just the right employees very helpful Kind and caring this is our local store please shop there, large food stores only care for the profits.

VERY bright and clean store. Isles are Not cluttered with people changing, changing and rearranging products. First time shopping here for me. The cashiers are friendly. They dont ask if you need help to get groceries in your car...they just do it for you!!! So far so good.

We always shop here when we visit from Colorado. The meat department is superb. Try the smoked pork chops!! We put them on dry ice and take them home. Wish they would open some stores back home. A+++ customer service!

The store is good but the meat department could be better, they pick and choose which ads it wants to honor and some of the butchers can be rather rude to deal with too. I try to avoid going there as much as possible. The quality of the meat itself is great, the service isn't though.

We were really surprised by some of the selections. Things we could not find at Jewel Osco. Workers were super nice. Only downside was that they didn't have a good seafood selection

If it wasnt for the meat counter I would avoid this store entirely. The cashiers and other employees have been rude and unprofessional every time I have gone. Often times the cashiers will carry on personal conversations amongst themselves ignore the custome waiting to be helped for minutes at a time. Like I said the only redeeming factor are the friendly and helpful meat dept workers.

Well the store itself is really nice most of the workers are really nice and know most of the store they got a lot of what you need they got really good fresh meat at the meat counter but for handicapped people it would be nice if they had maybe another cart or two you know but overall it's really good store

My favorite grocery store. The Butcher shop is the absolute best in the area. Unlike Walmart people go out of their way to help the customers instead of running to find a hiding place.

It is always a pleasant shopping time. Checkers are very courteous and helpful. Guys who push or carry groceries to car are always polite and cheerful. Like coming, unlike my time at Walmart.😁🎈

Made a special trip to go to faraway to buy vegetables I needed. I have several of the dollar off cards for fruits and vegetables. Told the checker that I had them, showed them to her. She rang me up and said how much it would be so I started to had her the cards for the money off vegetables and she said “ oh you did say you had those. I guess you will have to use them next time because I forgot.” Will think twice about going there again when you can’t use something they give you to help out with costs of things

Called them on Friday morning for special on short loins they had going on for there weekly ad which started Wednesday through Tuesday of next week.sold out, I buy all meat from fareway but asked the man at the meat counter about ordering 1 loin for my family for pickup as they have more coming in Saturday.he said no to call or come in tomorrow. My shopping for food may change in the future. Upset valued customer 12/04/2020.

Excellent meat & meat dept. staff. I appreciate that they bring out the groceries to your car & load them. However, their prices are a bit higher than other stores in town.

Always a pleasure to shop here. Plenty of help, no long lines at checkout. Most items in stock. I don't mind spending a little more to stay away from Wal Mart.
