This place is the best! Excellent customer service and you can tell the Vet/Vet Techs care about my fur babies. We'll continue to go to CVC as long as we have pets. Leo loves this place too!

Dr. Kemmerer always takes good care of my dogsš She answers all my questions and explains any procedures she will be doing. I highly recommend her and the clinic. Also, the vet techs are awesome!

I have no words to express the wonderful care and attention that is given to our Cassie !Not only are the Drs.wonderful , but upon entering the clinic, we are greeted with welcoming smiles and uplifting attitudes full of energy and charisma via the receptionists and all employees. I truly would not feel comfortable taking my favorite "furever" little kitty sister anywhere else !!

I have used this clinic for years. I have aways been pleased with everything they do for my pets. Dr. Eslick is great with his care and concern with my pets. He is both professional and compassionate. His knowledge and skills are excellent. I would go no where else. The assistants and receptionists are outstanding. Thank you everyone.

We have went to Vet Clinic for over 20 yrs and have never had a problem or complaint. They are caring and compassionate with any of our animals. Last week Dr Eslick did aC-section on our Frenchie. Several staff members were there to assist and it was a good thing they were. She had 10 healthy babies!! Dr Eslickwas so caring with our girl and her babies. His staff kept us up to date on how things were going during the c-section. Im sure we will be going there another 20 yrs!!

I called, and they got moose in the same day! We had to wait for roughly 30 minutes, but at least Moose will stop itching now!I've taken my pets here for years! More than 10 years! Always great experience!

Dr. Kemmerer is fabulous! She is wonderful with our dog. She is very caring and listens to our issues and goes out of her way to help! Absolutely love this vet. Recently moved closer to the quad cities but I would still travel just to have her as my vet! My dog would agree!!

DO NOT take your pets to Clinton Veterinary Clinic! Unfortunately, they do not care about your pet, they only want your money. They gave my dog 2 vaccines today when he was supposed to be there for a teeth cleaning only. He had a letter from my vet in Bettendorf (which Clinton Vet Clinic acknowledged they read) stating he does not receive vaccines due to developing thrombocytopenia after vaccines 3 years ago. He had zero blood platelets and had to have a transfusion to survive. So you can see why Iād be a little upset that Clinton Vet gave him 2 vaccines today knowing he was not to get vaccines and they did it anyway without asking me! They then charged me for them and were extremely unprofessional about the whole thing. No apology, no Iām so sorry we shouldnāt have done that. Nothing, but rudeness. They knew what they were doing and did it anyway not thinking of my petās health, but money. I will never go back there! There are other Google reviews stating this happened to other clients as well.Being polite and professional would mean apologizing for not asking me (the owner) directly for authorization of the vaccines after I had brought a letter (which the manager told me they read) stating he was NOT to have vaccines because he almost DIED the last time he had them and administered them anyway. I was very upset and the office did nothing to make anything right. I was told there was no need for an apology because they had done nothing wrong and hung up on. Of course that is not going to help the situation. I was also told Iād have to wait 2 hrs to speak to the Dr. and when I did get to speak to him, I was told I would be paying the entire bill, my daughter was asked by the Dr if she was recording him with her phone (we were not), and that we would not be coming back. As if WE had done wrong. None of this is polite, professional, or appropriate.

Dr. Eslick and his team are caring and professional. The vets always explain what they are going to do. My blue heeler has allergies and both Dr. Eslick and Dr. Kimber have helped with her. She is doing very well now. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Took my animals here once. This business performs services without consent or authorization. They charge you for services not rendered. They lie to you and won't show you any paperwork until you pay. They care more about money then your animals. They forget services like nail trimming which is included in wellness check and charge you on a later date or just to charge you for them on another visit. They add services without consent and give shots without permission. I have contacted an attorney on this manner, as well as filed paperwork with the iowa attorney general and the iowa state medical board. The owner is always never there according to the front desk. He doesn't care about complaints. They show aggression toward your animals if they don't listen to there orders. They are abusive towards animals. The add fees on every visit and hound you until you pay there ridiculous fees. This business is a scam. Don't trust them with your pets. Don't let them lie and say to ask family how there business it before reading reviews, reviews are here for a reason, to protect the public from harm. Hearing the owner speak on reveiws is just another truth to there scam and mistrust. Running from the truth. This is so sad, they should be shut down.A simple rabies shot turned into 177.16 bill. With a past bill of which I have never had a past bill at a vet clinic. They will explain this negligence in court.

I have gone to this clinic for 40 years. Mostly good experience until the last 5 or 6 years. Our previous dog had to be put to sleep and they would not wait 15 min past closing so a family member could be there to be with her. Last year current dog could not get in within 2 months for 3 year rabies shot so when could get in could only get a one year shot. Then had to bring her back for a 3 year shot a year later. Lastly, our dog was suppose to get a recheck on her ears. The date given to do this they said the doctor was off. I asked if someone else could do it and they said they would check and call me backā¦..no call till next day during a snow storm to come in that day. We live 20 miles away which I explained the previous day, knowing a snowstorm was coming. I get that perhaps a doctor would not be available but not getting a call back is indicative of the lack of professionalism and client service this provider gives.

Fantastic veterinary office! I don't even ask to see a specific vet because they are all fantastic and can tell they really love animals, as do the vet assistants. I've brought both of my dogs here since they were puppies. Love the care my babies recieve here!

If I could give less than a 1 star, I would. I write this as a warning to others who are thinking of taking their animals there. I had an English Springer that was my life. I loved him more than anything. Unfortunately, he had a chronic ear infection in his left ear. ONLY his left ear. We tried countless times to get his ear healed and free of infection. After a couple years of treating it, with several medication ointments, the Dr told us that the best solution for Stolie was to have a partial ear canal removal. This would allow air to get into his ear drum and let it ābreatheā easier, thus solving his issue. After discussing it with my husband, and the vet again, we decided to have the procedure done. At the time of the surgery, I was about 8 months pregnant with our son, so my husband took him to the vet in my place. Once Stolie got home, the first thing I noticed was that he did not have a cone on. He could easily scratch or paw at it. I walked up to him and noticed he was shaking his head to one side. I reached down and pet his head and ear that I knew was ok. He yelped and started whining uncomfortably. I looked at the ear (His right ear) that was always ok. The vet operated on the wrong ear!!!! I panicked and called my husband into the room to show him. We got Stolie to lay down to examine him, and saw that she had indeed operated on his right ear instead of the left. His left ear was still full of infection and drainage. Now my poor poor boy was in excruciating pain in BOTH ears. I called the vet clinic and was told she was gone for the day. The other vet told me that there was no way that she had done that and he would have her contact me first thing in the morning. The next morning she called. She didnāt start with āHello, this is Dr Leigh...ā. She started the conversation with, āI was told that you believe I operated on the wrong ear?ā Basically calling me a liar. The conversation went downhill from there. She made up every excuse she could to place blame on my husband and I. She said we must have āissues in our marriageā that āif you knew what ear it was, YOU should have brought him inā to āhe signed a form stating which ear it wasā. Lie, lie, lie. I donāt think I need to go into any more details to show how this woman hurt my dog, or her lack of remorse in doing so. We took him to her for almost 5 years. 5 years we had him seen and treated for the same problem. Never did it get any better for him there. I love my fur babies. I did everything I could to try to make this better for him. It was unfortunate that he had to go through so much more because she couldnāt read her chart... or flip him to his other side to see a VERY VERY VISIBLE INFECTION. Instead, our character came under attack by her. After the phone call, my husband went there, insisted on seeing the charts and āformā he signed. It couldnāt be produced. She agreed to operate on his other ear, but we would have to pay for anesthesia. Knowing that it would be awhile before we would be able to afford another surgery, we agreed. I regret that decision greatly. I should have done more for my pup. I should have fought harder for ājusticeā for him. But, I just wanted him to be free of pain. The surgery did not fix or help his ear. It was a waste of money, and a lot of pain for him. We decided to take him to a different vet clinic. The vet that treated him had it under control and cured within a month. He lived the rest of his life with very little ear issues. My boy deserved so much better treatment. Instead he was just another dollar to line her pockets. He was discardable to her... but not to me. Remember my story as a warning. Think of my boy, Stolie. He deserved better... and so do you!!!!!**** I just read a response from the current owner **** I absolutely remember exactly where I took him. It was 1million percent that clinic. Yes, it was several years ago. 2007 to be exact. You may not find his name, whether spelled wrong in your system, or a simply disposing of our file. Regardless, my name is Sarah Stone.

Iāve been using services here since my cat was a kitten. My dog went here since she was a puppy. Dr. Leigh legitimately saved my catās life. When my dog was put down last year, all the staff here were super emotionally supportive. These people are awesome with pets of all ages.

Like many of the reviews already given, this clinic lacks in professionalism. In our case, specifically Dr. Eslick, the owner. We used this vet office over a span of 28 years and were not even given the courtesy of a conversation when there was an issue. Very happy to be moving on to another vet for the care of our pets; should have done this much sooner.

Dr. Kemmerer was awesome. Her vet nurse was as well. Dr. Kemmerer was so patient and explained what she was doing very efficiently at the same time giving us our options. She is better than my doctor š. The other staff we encountered on our visit were also cool. Great job doc and we will be coming back to this animal clinic again.

I live in the area and take my dogs to another loved vet. When my vets office was closed during the weekend my older lab had some serious issues going on at 13 years old. She needed help and they were so difficult to speak with and make an appointment for her. Literally cold. Iāll never forget the hurt in my heart from the way we were treated over the phone while trying to help our suffering lab.

Took MJ here for his vomiting problem and Dr M was able to diagnose him immediately. Gave MJ the medicine he so desperately needed. Took two years to find a doctor that helped MJ so happy we found you. Great place to take your very much loved furry friends. Thank you Dr. M.....

Not good, very costly. I brought the cat home sick & took him to another vet w/104 temp. I think the male veterinary doctor is good. He never ran a bunch of test & seems to know what is going on with animal. A no nonsence vet. The two female dr's are not good. I am very unhappy & will not take my animals back there again.
