They had the equipment to pick up our RV on a Saturday. We waited for them to open on Monday and they took care of it in two days. The team is always working to tow and repair. Forgive them for sounding tired. They know what they are doing. We were a little surprised by the price for repairs but after considering how much they did for us. We felt grateful. They are all set up for large vehicles. Good team.

Being fairly new to over the road winter driving in the Midwest I knew very little about preparations needed to drive in below 0 temperatures, of course my rig froze up…Chris with this company was awesome, when other companies didn’t risk towing my rig off the side of the road this company did. Chris was helpful throughout the entire process and even recommended diesel treatments as a future preventative measure. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I’d highly recommend Tony’s Tire, Truck, and Towing for ANY vehicle issues while in the Clear Lake, IA or surrounding areas. Thanks again to the Tony’s team.

Over all good ppl I don’t think they mean any harm . But definitely over priced took me almost a week to get my pricing they just had “ estimates “ . Took 10 days to fix my axle 3 days of it being waiting on parts .also replaced my wheels and tire when I had a spare I told them to throw on but they went ahead and bought me new pieces anyways charged me for a couple small things that was not on the list nor did I ask to be addressed . They definitely take their sweet ol time if you break down an can get your trailer/truck home I would recommend that but if your SOL an need emergency repairs an can afford any price they throw at you then these might be your guys.

Never use this service. Never. They will ruin more than one day for you, rob you of your money, and do it poorly.You will be met at the entrance by a guy who will not be very happy to see you, but he will have to. You and the rest of the guys are not welcome, because they will have to work because of you. The work takes an hour, their results take a day. After all, we need to increase working hours. Reading other people's reviews, you can see that these guys are more genuine in their local area. But when they hired you, they didn't rush or rush it, they were too busy with constant meetings between others, drinking coffee, watching videos on their phones and other related things. Out of 2 hours of work, they will give you 10 hours of work; for auto parts that cost 300-500, they will give you an invoice for thousands. Worst service that will live on everyone.

I was in horrible situation in Dow junction area or close to city called latimer Iowa but after the whole experience called Tony’s chris showed up towed my truck to their shop quickly repair it professionally put me back on the road. The price is very reasonable if I need any service in that area I will use them and I recommend to anyone passing clear lake Iowa area .they have couple of shops thank you Tony’s thank you thank you!

Legal corruption, charge me 7hour of labor...!!!to replace to airbag on trailer...better to drive empty to chicago and fix your mechanical issues for 3-4time cheaper, for reasonable price...I don't know how this shop still on business!!!?

Some of the greatest service I've ever received.To save me some time, the gal in the office made a trip to Mason City to pick up the tires I needed while the tow truck picked up the car and myself. The tires were on hand when we arrived at the shop. That's service!Tony's has multiple shops. I was somewhere between shops when the tire went flat. The staff was thoughtful enough to ask if I was headed northbound or southbound and took me to the shop that saved me from having to backtrack.My car requires special towing procedures. The professionals at Tony's did their homework and researched the process before picking up the car.Seriously top notch service.

Chris was fantastic and a true godsend. I called him at 7:15p after I found a bolt in my tire and was supposed to drive to Des Moines to catch a flight for work at 6a the next day. He had just gotten home, but agreed to meet me back at the workshop. Listen to all this man did!1) He patched my tire.2) He fixed a faulty valve stem on a second tire. (Stayed at the shop until about 9:30p to make sure I’d be safe getting to the airport the next morning).3) The next day he checked to make sure I made it safely to the airport. While I was out of town he ordered me 2 new tires and had them ready for when I got back into town.4) As soon as I got back in town, he got me in the same day and had us safely on the way with 2 new tires!I cannot say enough about how he went above and beyond for us. Thank you Chris!!

I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. Triple prices on parts, $200 an hour for labor, and all together unprofessional in the fact that there is no communication with the customer. A job that was quoted to take 5 hours took 7 instead with no explanation as to why until I started asking questions at the end of our transaction. They ran out of coolant for my A/C unit and had to wait 2 hours for it to be delivered. And to top it all off they wouldnt take a out of state check forcing me to use my debit card. Where in they put a fee just to use my card in their reader. Boosting the bill up another 80 dollars on top of an already 1800.00 dollar bill.Service: Car towing

My only complaint is that they have ZERO sense of urgency. From the first phone call, when I get there, to fixing my tire, even making payment was all done so slow and cost me valuable time/money. I stood there for about 10mins waiting yo pay while the guy talked on the phone for parts. My only issue is take care of the customers that are in front of you first, especially when they expressed to you they are in a hurry. Price was good. Service was good, faculty was clean.

They charged me for change starter and fuel filter $2.6kMy truck diesel freeze i they towed my f350 less then 1 mile said will be done today😎Full day I waited but my truck was parked outside (said don’t have time for your truck) evening parked in shop ( doesn’t ask it will work for me or no) and close for holidaysAfter four days they open the shop and fixed starter and fuel filters. This guys making money 5x more then another.Be careful with them!!!

Most overpriced towing company i've ever experienced. Tow truck driver was very unprofessional when we told him we couldn't pay his ridiculous asking price. Also, told us there was a towing ban in place as a ploy to get more money. (There was no tow ban, we checked.) Awful service, driver, and prices. Must I say more?Service: Car towing

10 pm. They arrived quickly and towed my little Honda 9 miles. The tow truck's total round trip miles was 20. Long discussion on the phone with the powers that be, and we get a total of $246.10. More if you want to use a card. Service, good. Price, I'd say it's high.

My driver had a flat tire and we drove to this shop. It was a drive tire and we were just looking for used virgin tire and because they didn't have it I had to put recap. He gave me a quote for recap 288$ for tire plus replacing fee, disposal fee around 413$. I say ok, let's do that because my intentions were to replace all 4 on that alxe later during this month because my tire guy gives me price of 500$ with instalation for Kelly Armorsteel tire. Anyway, job is done and bill is for 504$. I call and ask why is more then what he told me and then he says about casing fee for 100$ and whatever and I'm not happy with it. I told him, that I understand that prices are up but he didn't gave me right info on pricing. If I knew that recap will cost me 504$ I might just get a virgin one and pay 100$ more. This way from tire that is 288$ turns out to be 504$. That is 216 dollars in different fees. And we came to his shop. I can only imagine how much they charge for roadside assistance. Thank you for your help, but you're not gonna get any more of my business.

You csn tell a good business when the employees are happy, and they smile and talk to you. I was at Tony' Tire & Towing in Clear Lake for an hour and I might have well been invisible!Everyone looked so glum!

Had a trailer door replaced, josh quoted me about $1000 dollars for the job. I understand a quote may go up a hundred or two. I was never notified and final price was almost doubled once completed. I do not recommend this shop. Very unprofessional.

My first experience with, Tony's Tire Service, was phenomenal. Awesome JOB! road call was super fast, tech was courteous, and experienced. Office staff was super friendly and helpful. After reading the reviews, I'm adding to my review. When you break down in the middle nowhere, expect slightly higher prices. They run the show in this area, and that's how business works.

We are in Clear Lake at motel with a tire that had screw on Labor Day. Nothing open but desk clerk had a business card for Tony Tire. Thankful that phone was answered. They fixed tire and we are able to continue our way home. Thank you so much. God bless.
