Decent store, not the cleanliness of places and the food is meh. Would much rather stop somewhere else to grab food but they do have good coffee and they also have international delight with is my favorite. The staff was also friendly and they have a seating area to relax if you need to.

This is one of the cleanest pilot store I have seen. The showers are so clean that you don't wanna come out. The ladies are nice and have great customer service. I will definitely be stopping here for a clean, hot shower 🚿.

Great location for a Pilot truck stop. The store is very nice looking and clean. The staff here are very nice and friendly. At the time of my visit, there was some hot food such as a few roller grill items, 2 Burgers, and some other items. There was a notice on the door about DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) being frozen in some truck lanes. I got a 32oz (what they call Large) Fountain Drink full of Dr Pepper and a Snicker Bar which costed 4.47. I hope this location of Pilot continues to be a great place to stop for people coming and going from Clear Lake (IA).-Shy_Gun670

It is incredible that after driving a whole day of work, one arrives at the truck stop, one of those with the highest price of Diesel, and cannot get anything to eat, at 8:00 pm and there was nothing, it is truly incredible, the restaurant closed, and nothing to eat, does the CEO of Flying J Pilot know this? that those who make them rich by buying Diesel don't have anything decent to eat? This is the essence of a Truck Stop?

Was not very impressed by this location. I've been to dozens and dozens of Pilot locations through the years, and this one definitely isn't their best example.Overall the place had a sort of run down, tired, not well maintained look to it.Thankfully the shower was clean, but the valve and showerhead literally felt like they were gonna break loose off the wall. Very loose and wobbly. Needs servicing.Then I walk out the shower and see a big out of order sign on the card reader for the laundry too. Maybe not a huge deal, but taken with everything else, just adds to this place seeming not quite up to the standard.

Friendly late night/early morning staff and i was shocked how clean this Pilot is. Arrived @11pm and had reserved parking, which is a bit tight (blind side angle with a curb kinda in a bad spot). Ran in for parking ticket and restroom, staff was scrubbing the roller grill and cleaning the drinks area. I’ve never witnessed anyone cleaning at any other Pilot! Ever. The restroom was clean, I wasn’t grossed out the minute I opened the door like most places. I can’t comment on food choices since I wasn’t looking for food, but there is a McDonalds and Arby’s at least across the street.

It's not horrible but it's not great either. Parking is kind of small but ok. There is no food here just roller grill items that look like they have been up there too long. There are 7 diesel pumps and they are in a bad location. If they get backed up its almost impossible to get into the parking area. And fyi there is a exit at the far end of the building so you dont have to try to get out past the fuel island.

Pilots have the absolute worst food. I got two cheeseburgers here and first of all they are so overpriced, but they were so disgusting. I felt sick to my stomach all day after eating them. Gross. 80% of the Pilots I’ve been to the same thing. Overpriced garbage food. Yuck!

These 2 gals working in the early morning hours are great. 22 degrees outside, clean hot showers inside with water pressure that will push you against the wall.Great job guys!! Thank you

Convenient location right off the interstate. Bathrooms are clean and large. Large selection of food and drinks in the convenience store. The fountain drink area has the ability to add flavors. Large coffee selection. Attached Subway makes it a convenient place to stop to get gas and a bite to eat.

Consistency comes to mind when i think of this location as in they consistently have more diesel pumps not working than do.

Slept here last night treated myself fuel woke up got about 69 gallons 30 min into drive truck shut off!Fuel trash do not fill here they have a bad batch of fuel ugh I’m broke down in the side of the road! It was also a day cab truck shutdown 😖🤬

What a delightful surprise!I'm so impressed! We were just passing through, stopping by chance to refuel on coffee.In the enticing entryway was a picture-worthy "Welcome" sign, with flowers and a bench. Upon entry into the gas station, we were greeted warmly with an immediate "Hello!" by the employees. In addition to the friendliness of the hard working staff, I value the cleanliness of the entire store, and the personal touches of the aforementioned entryway as well as the bouquet of fresh flowers by the sink in the women's bathroom."We do our best to keep it as clean as possible here," an employee informed me, "Our store manager gets the flowers and makes them look so nice!" That attention to detail and dedication to go above and beyond shows, and is so appreciated!A note to management and staff: Thank you for all you do to ensure such great experiences for your customers! It's a Pilot like every other. The facility was relatively clean and the people were friendly and professional. I'd be happy to never eat Subway again. There are other food options close by. Unfortunately, the Barrel is gone. It's a boring place for a reset.

Very pleasant, was greeted when I first walked into the door. The woman's restroom has fresh cut flowers, Very clean store people who worked tonight we're doing an excellent job. Only complaint is my husband is disabled and all though they have 2 spots for handicap parking they are farther from the doors than regular ones...kinda defeats the whole purpose.

terrible refueling with terrible fuel pumps, 3 pumps don't work and the rest 30 minutes are flooded. this is a mockery, take pity on drivers who are tense all day on the road and don't be soulless in such a cold season ..

The perspective from a truck driver this Truck Stop is only stopping for fuel. There’s nothing really to eat in here massage microwaved, food or those killer hotdogs that no one wants to eat depending on what shift you make it here on the store is totally disgusting.

I know this has a lot to do with lazy nasty truck drivers but considering the restrooms were in a similar state and pilot makes billions of dollars a year it's absolutely unacceptable. Get your people to clean up this dump pilot.

Big truck parking lot that's hard for the moron 'park-anywhere' trucker set to block. Lots of direct access to the exit. Ironically the reserved parking is less convenient than most of the free parking. Big c-store. Pleasant people. Nothing not to like.

Not a great selection of food. Should get rid of the barriers behind the truck parking. Makes it so you can't back all the way, which blocks a couple of the corner spots from being used. Or if they are occupied then it blocks them from getting out. Be careful parking in those corners.

This is an older truck stop and it shows. The parking lot, fuel pumps and main building are older. Despite that the main store and restrooms were clean. Furthermore, the reason for the 5 stars is the staff. I was there at about 1:00am and one of them even brewed me some fresh coffee. She was super nice and professional while we talked about the weather while waiting for the coffee.
