The meat offered there is wonderful, but today I was concerned. The employee who handled my meat order did not wear gloves. Another employee kept wiping her nose and mouth with her hand while preparing meat to place in display case. Shouldn’t they all at least wear gloves?

I shop by what's on sale and only ever get a couple things if I need to because I can't afford large shopping trips here. The prices are high but it's always organized and clean. The employees are always nice.

#Fairway offers good fresh produce- full service #meat department in a clean - cheerful -well organised grocery store. Good selection of pet supplies. Good selection of household basics. Good selection of family needs for the kids. Checkout is always friendly - and if you need assistance with getting your items to the car they offer that too. Appreciate the precautions for Covid 19.

Customer service at the meat counter is horrendous. There were 6 employees at the meat counter and I was the only customer and not one of them acknowledged me. I ended up just leaving without buying anything from the meat counter. The customer service has been going down the last few years at the Clear Lake location and whomever is managing it is not doing a good job. It's sad to see they used to have such great customer service.

Great selection of fresh produce,and their meat department. This was the first time the the young man at the regular didn't return or bother to thank me if he didn't need to ask me paper or plastic he would not of said anything to me

We stopped in here on our recent weekend getaway for some last minute supplies. The setup was as expected and we were able to get everything that we needed. The store was nice and the staff were good. Part of our supplies were some salmon filets from the meat counter and they were very good and smoked up nicely. Next time we are in the area, we won't hesitate to stop back.

It is the same building I'm familiar with in Cedar Falls. However the layout of products are in different aisles. Mostly the same great choices. But you can tell the stock is personalized for Clear Lake customers.

I don't know….I'm from out of town so maybe I am missing something, but this place was just so-so. The guy at the meat counter practically threw our steals at us. The gal at the self check out was rude as hell. Maybe because we wore masks, and no one else there was? Who knows. But people really shouldn't be rude just to be rude. You don't know anyone else's life. Why be nasty just because you can be? This is why my wife tells me to pack a cooler for trips. Get what you need at home, where the grocery store folks know you, and are kind. We won't be back to this place again anytime we visit.

Meat department is a great bunch. All of them.. very helpful. Very clean. Always washing hands & using gloves. With out even asking..goes above normal service. Managers always trying to help order in what you need to keep you local. Groceries taken to your car with a smile & greeting. Very nice ladies at checkout.

I spend alot of of money there . Because they have great deals there . The products are top of the line or they have their on brand and their brand is pretty good . I make a habit to check on their specials . But if they don't have that much of a special . I go else where . I shop for the best deal and if there isn't a good deal which does happen I wait . My freezer is getting mighty skimpy and its time to restock . Most stores have summer deals and I stock up on those deals . But sometime there is that great deal . Its all about paying attention . I check the flyers every week . And I don't miss much . One more thing we have some of the best stores in my area and I shop at every one of them .

I found a new favorite grocery store at Fareway in Clear Lake.I will go there for whatever I need from now on.I love their self checkout because it's separate and there are only 2 so I didn't feel crowded.Their produce is fresh,and just loaded with all kinds of fresh salad fixings.Clear Lake should be proud.

Selection of items is very accommodating & everyone was so helpful & courteous, they even loaded my groceries in my truck for me. Don't see this kind of service many places these days but was very impressed at Faraway👍

The workers were so helpful and your beautifully meat deli area is amazingly, when I went to self checkout I got confused and the person behind the counter came.right.over and assist and was so polite, thanks again we are staying on clearlake, and will return.

Had a wonderful experience because the meat counter packaged all the 10lb hamburger in 1lb packages. What a blessing because of having back surgery. So thank you very much for that service.

Friendly, clean & had all our items that we needed. We're camping & stopped in for a few thing, couldn't pass up awesome looking steaks to grill tonight for dinner. Also had diet Cherry Pepsi which we can't get at home.

In and out. Very busy with all check out lines full, but was able to quickly check out at the four self check out lanes. Helpful staff there to wipe down registers after every customer.

Fareway seems to have the fresher meats and produce. The nice thing about the meat department is if I want something done special ( if at all possible ) they will do what I want. For instance I asked if they could make up some 10 Oz . filets and the Butcher said no problem.
