We have used Movement Solutions for the last four years and arrived this year to find out they were bought out.The new people running the show were fantastic. Easy to deal with and they actually made the trip more enjoyable.The pontoon we rented (Big Sally) was great. It was clean and in really good shape. We had everything we needed from them to enjoy our day.We will see you again next year!

We loved our experience with Clear Lake Adventure Rentals! They were very helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions for our paddle board experience. They gladly provided extra life jackets so that the kids in our group could also enjoy paddling. Drop off and return was super easy and chill! We stopped through Clear Lake to take a break from our long drive, and came upon Clear Lake Adventure Rentals. The owner welcomed us, and helped us select the right size pontoon for our needs. It did not take us long to get our pontoon delivered and settled in with our coolers and snacks. We very much enjoyed our afternoon, and hope to rent from this business, again. Thank you!

I unfortunately had a poor experience with this company. In August I had a boat rented for my bachelorette party. It was all we had planned for the day and a 2 hour drive for us. We got there and checked in to the office 30 min before we were scheduled to get onto the boat. Check in went smooth and lady gave us all the instructions. We drove over to where the boat was docked in the water, which was about 10 min away. As we were walking onto the boat ramp, we received a call from the office lady saying that we can no longer go on the boat because of the wind. We got this call at 2:01pm, and our boat time was scheduled for 2. I understand that the weather can interfere with the ability to take boats out, but it’s more upsetting at the extreme inconvenience in timing of our boat getting cancelled. It was strange that the wind suddenly changed so rapidly, deeming it unsafe to take the boat out in the time it took to get from the office to the boat. It also didn’t help seeing dozens upon dozens of other boats out on the water at the time- although I understand some were personal boats. As I said above, I understand weather can interfere with boat reservations, but I feel that the cancellation could have been communicated to us well before the exact time we were to get on the boat, and if it were, we could have made different plans for the rest of our day.

We had a great time on our pontoon boat rental, it was a beautiful day to cruise around on the lake. Carson was extremely friendly and helpful. He had the 6 of us loaded up in the boat, gave us instructions and we were on the lake in no time. When we met him back at the dock he also provided a few restaurant recommendations which was very helpful. We'll definetly rent from Clear Lake Adventure Rentals again when we're in the area. We rented a boat for a girls weekend and we couldn't recommend it enough. Booking was so easy and check in was even easier. Our driver, Tyler, made our ride so enjoyable. I would highly recommend renting a boat through Movement Solutions!

Our family rented a pontoon for an afternoon and had a great experience with Clear Lake Adventure Rentals. It is a family business and all of them were super nice. Carson was very helpful getting us on our way and helping us when we brought the boat back. We had a wonderful time on Clear Lake and appreciate the service we got at Clear Lake Adventure Rentals. We definitely recommend them for any rental!

Have had the worst experience with this company. My maid of honor booked a pontoon for my bachelorette party. The pontoon we book was capsized on 7/8 and they had no backup pontoon for us. That’s not even the worst part of the experience. They told us this on 7/16 so we had to plan a whole different party in just 2 weeks and my maid of honor has yet to get her deposit back. They “can’t find the credit card on file anywhere” and now it won’t process. Will not attempt to book again ever.

I booked a week ahead of time online and it was very easy to do. On the day of our rental, everyone I came into contact with was super friendly and helpful. My family had a great time on the pontoon we rented for the afternoon. Would highly recommend using Clear Lake Adventure Rentals!!

I’m really not sure how to start this off because I did not want to write a review at all because I normally don’t I’m usually not that bothered. However, I want to share my experience. Back in February I went ahead and booked for the oasis boat for the last weekend in July for my son’s birthday. Obviously a week before my sons birthday, I got a call from adventure rentals informing me how the oasis pontoon had been sunk and was not repairable. As I understand that this was neither my fault, nor their fault….they did not accommodate. They offered me the two small Minnow boats which was all they had available and I understood because everyone books rentals usually early because they go so fast, and it was a week before my son’s birthday. I looked just in case but everything else was booked, and normally I work weekends and I had already taken off this weekend and I didn’t want to let my son down anymore so I told them that I would take the minnows. I’m not disappointed as much as I didn’t get their nicest boats or the one that my son wanted, as I am at the fact that they made me pay the difference between the two boats for something that wasn’t my fault and that they had told my husband on the phone that they would throw in a lily pad that I ended up also having to pay for. I also work in service industry. I asked both of my owners at my employment, and other local business owners in Des Moines if I was treated respectfully or not, and they said absolutely not. Like I said, I understand it was nobody’s fault, but my son was highly upset. I didn’t get to have my family all on one boat and I had to pay the difference for two boats that I didn’t even want. It just seems a little outrageous that they didn’t accommodate to me at all but every other local business owner that I’ve talked to and even where I work, we would accommodate you so much. This is my experience I’m just upset that they didn’t offer to give me one of the boats free or throw it even the $50 lily pad for my troubles and my young son upset on his big day . I just don’t understand when I booked back in February because this is the one thing that my son asked for it, and it was the one thing that I spent the most money on to give him for his birthday and he didn’t even get it. I’m not trying to be mean, but I am telling everyone that I know about my experience and exactly what they did for me. That’s all thank you

Wow! What a great experience! We were able to book just two days in advance of our rental and got exactly what we wanted. The pontoon was very clean, engine was solid(started right up every time), and the tube we rented was in great shape. We rented the Watersport Willy for our family of five and a tube as well.We met at the rental shop to make a final payment and Becky went over the safety items about the boat, regulations, and where and how to safely navigate the lake. Becky assured us that she could be contacted by text or phone call should we have any questions or concerns. This took all of 10 minutes.We then went to one of the docks to meet Carson who had already put the boat in the water and had it tied up on the dock. He showed us a few things about the boat. One of the great surprises is that the boat had a Bluetooth stereo installed and it sounded great!The lake was pretty choppy and our kids wanted a lily pad instead of the tube. I texted Becky and Carson met us at a dock with the lily pad. Talk about great customer service!After our rental time was up, we met Carson at the dock and thanked him again for everything.We will define rent from your business again! Everything was great! Thanks again!

Rented a 12 passenger pontoon for a bachelorette party. They connect you with third party drivers which was helpful in our situation. However, the driver said that boat could only be used to go slowly around the lake because it doesn't handle waves well. Comfortably it only handled 8 people including the driver. The boat pick up location was different from the office making it a hassle to go check in and then have to drive to get the boat. Office staff was very friendly, but the overall boating experience was not as convenient as we hoped.

We cannot say enough about CL Adventure Rentals. We drove 18 hrs to be here. We really did. We wanted our kids to experience Clear Lake, as we did as children. I knew we needed a boat. And CLAR came through. We rented the 16 seater Big Sally for two days. I had no idea what to expect.It was so easy! The boats are put in water very early so we were out there by 8 am. We had the lake to ourselves. My teens tubed. We had 4 generations on the boat...including my 90 year old grandmother. We had an absolute blast. We went back and forth to the dock throughout the day picking up and dropping offThe family that owns the Rentals are beyond kind and patient. They also have a super cool dog named Hazel that wanted to boat with us. Despite owning a boat in the past we made a rookie mistake...never let rope wrap around prop. I can't believe we forgot rule 101. The owners were beyond kind and fixed it and we were able to continue on. I felt so stupid. But they never said an unkind word.We were truly blessed by Clear Lake Rentals. Clean boat. Family fun. My kids loved every second. The lake is crisp and clean unlike our local gross TX lake.Thank you so very much. Our family bonded with cousins and aunt and uncles on the water. Cannot wait to be back. And next time we won't be dumb🙈

10/10 recommend this company for water rentals! They are a family owned company and it shows! They were above and beyond amazing with us and our guests. We rented "The Minnow", it was perfect. If you are a seasoned boater, just do it, they literally take out all the work that comes along with boat days. We just showed up, took our mini safety course, and met them at the docks! Easy Peasy!***SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY*** - If you own a SD you know that in reality it should be smooth sailing, unfortunately it's not always that way. We have been everywhere east of the rockies with our doggo, including disney, and this company did everything by the books, per Iowa code. They have no idea how much we appreciate that!Thank you guys for the amazing lake day! We will see yall and Hazel girl, next time!

Loved our experience with movement solutions. The pontoon boat was great, no frills but clean and easy to use. Jennifer was very professional and very flexible given our plans and the weather conditions. And then when we finally got on the lake the weather changed and a big storm blew in. Jennifer called us, sent us to a great local bar where we were able to beach the boat and hang out until the storm passed. Will absolutely work with them again next time we’re in Clear Lake.

We have rented a pontoon boat from Movement Solutions for the last several years! First, they are the most friendly business owners :-) they are prepared with paperwork so signing and paying goes quick! The boats are in great shape and clean! They communicate every step of the way on the day of your rental so you know exactly where to meet them for pick up and drop-off. Even the one year when there was a storm which delayed us getting on the water, they were in touch with us as the weather changed so we knew they were watching out for us! Loyal customer for sure!

Jennifer and Jim were great! They were very accommodating and quick to respond anytime I had a question! This was the only company I could find in Clear Lake that would allow dogs on the boat as well! We were called in an hour before our booking time ended and were refunded the difference in cost immediately! Would highly recommend booking with them and will definitely book with them again anytime I am in need of a boat in Clear Lake!

They dropped off and retrieved our items for us, making it easy and hassle free for our family with four young kiddos! The boats are clean and well maintained. The reservation system was easy to navigate and they provided all the important information. The staff communicated with us several times as our reservation time drew near to ensure everything would be ready. The staff was very friendly when we checked in and the pontoon was in great condition. Our Florida granddaughter loved her first time tubing (no alligators!) and we all loves cruising Clear Lake again. We moved away several years ago and have a lot of good memories from Clear Lake. Movement Solutions helped us create some great new memories with our grandkids!

Other than we got on the lake about 30 minutes late due to a morning storm everything was wonderful with the pontoon. The pontoon was ready to go and had lifejackets for all, we only had to get a few child -size for our grandchildren. Our family enjoyed the 4 hours on the pontoon with the slide and we also rented a lilly pad which the kids also enjoyed playing on. Great service, good instructions and hope to do it again next year!

We had so much fun! From check in to docking at the end of our 6 hour rental we has a great time. Jennifer was great getting us out on the lake and trying to jog our memories on boat driving, she was funny and always polite-even when we obviously didn't know what we were doing! The previous party had left the boat a mess but she cleaned it up for us super quick so we didn't miss anytime out! We are already looking at doing it again next month, but with the bigger boat!
