What a nice clean store! I would recommend Dollar general in Clarksville Iowa over quite a few of them that I've been in. Everything is put away, shelves are stocked and the employees are very friendly.

Not exactly the best store. It doesn't even sell Maddie merch or anything local. It's that typical expensive store. The Clarksville Hometown Grocery was way better and deserves more than this place. Nobody even wanted Dollar General to be here in Clarksville. They're obviously gonna close soon because DG closed in Waverly and Casey's is better. You guys are also overpriced and Dollar Tree is better. I last visited this place in September, 2019.

The main reason I go up to dollar general is milk. And I end up spending a lot more while there. Go up today and the price is almost doubled!!! What happened to local, convenient and low price? You are not even competing with Casey's anymore, its the same!!! 😑
