Great store, but they close at 10pm on Fridays, NOT midnight. Don't trust the google hours.

I have to confess I was in quite a bit of hurry and I shouldn't have but I was.I also was hungry and I remember someone saying that there's a deli right inside HyVee. she came out from behind the counter and asked me what I needed and was attentive to my every need got me some lunch very quickly and I was on the road and eating and 😄. But wait, that's not all, Hy-Vee has everything that you need for house , home apartment or if you just visiting in your hotel room. Hy-Vee employees and wait staff instill the very character of Shenandoah kindness and helpfulness in every bag of grocery. So stop in to the deli sit down and eat or if you're on your way you will be taken care of. Right off highway 59 in Shenandoah Iowa. I like shopping there late at night. The managers and the rest of the night crew are wonderful. I see the same faces when I shop at that time of the evening and they are always ready to help and in a great mood. A great bunch of kids. The store is always tidy and clean during my late night shopping and the shelves are stock.The only reason they didn't get 5 stars has nothing to do with the employees but the prices and hours. Prices are going up and the hours are getting shorter. But these are tough time so not a whole lot can be done. Yes I will shop there again.

I called to ask about a sale i had read about in a coupon book i had gotten in the male. The gentleman that answered the phone didnt know about sale ao he out me on hold and when he came back hee told me they didnt know when the sale would be and he told me that coupon book had not gone out yet and i know it had because my 3 month old puppy chewed mine up. Im not impressed

Can you guys offer less noodles in your chicken alfredo and add back the Alfredo sauce you took away because of inflation? I like buying them but not with like next to no Alfredo on them. I always get a family size about every Saturday. Also why did you have to close at 10:00 on the weekends? That was like the time I would come in is after 10:00 lol

Waited in line to check out over 10 minutes, checkers no idea what there doing nice self checkout stand's that no one is using ,left my stuff and went to fairway won't be back

Not a place I recommend for getting the best deal. On occasion there may be one or two things on sale that pique my interest but, generally, it's best to drive 20 miles to Walmart in Shenandoah. I'm this case, I was just using the parking lot to park my car for a carpool.

Hy Vee has demonstrated support to both major political parties. As far as the store is concerned, they are similar to Home Depot in that they know the middle of the road and keep it stocked. This store has a butcher shop unlike the store in Shenandoah. A nice feature.

Went good got some sweet corn still in husk and a steak on sale, butcher was very friendly and had 30 years of service. Very professional and down home at same time.R.B.

Hyvee was great until they started advertising stuff that are fuel saver rewards and then fail to honor those rewards...I only buy certain things when I'm going to get that discount, and I feel a little cheated when they dont give them then try to say it's not a fuel saver when their ad is in their face, for their location, the same dates, and the item is right there on that ad to prove it, and they say its must be wrong...no, that's just flat false advertising

Good store. I only needed fruit and plates. I found both. The gala apples had little to no taste. The bananas were good. I didn't personally eat the other fruit I purchased.

It's not as big in the Clarinda Iowa location as most. I was hoping to get an individual cake and cookies like at other locations but they had none. There isn't as much variety either except in the frozen dinner section

Love this hyvee staff is friendly and the store is kept clean and well stocked . The guy in the mest department is also wonderful and nice to help get the meats we need.

This is my favorite Hy-Vee in our area. And the still have a meat counter or butcher shop unlike Shenandoah. The guys in the butcher shop are always helpful.

I like Hyvee. Any HyVee I have ever been in has always been clean. Most generally the staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of things I would suggest is training to pack groceries. Training that teaches about not putting raw meat in with vegetables or was cooked meat and that each type of raw meat for example chicken or beef should be packaged separately from each other as well. The only other issue I run into is the date on products such as yogurt for example, I always have to make sure I check my dates because I gotten home and had to go right back because the date had expired on the product. I am very happy not only with this HyVee but every HyVee with which I've come in contact.

Seems like they're always waiting on truck to come in or the truck forgot things. Meat dept is on point. Good deals. Avoid Dorothy if you ever go to the deli.

Have shopped Hy Vee for years. Always satisfied with product , service, and deals. It's been said I spend more there than Wal Mart. Just love it. If going to surrounding towns, still shop Hy Vee. Thank you
