The checker Mary was completely detached from engaging the customers. She was rude and made me feel like I should just shop at Hy-Vee instead. I felt interrupted whatever issues she has going on in her life. I apologize Mary for spending my money there.

Great sales and very helpful associates, the store was clean and I love the way it has been reorganized. The help to the car and loading of groceries was as usual a great customer service "extra", " I love shopping here.

I haven't been to a fareway in probably 25 years. I happened to be in clarinda and decided to go shopping. I can not begin to express how amazing the service was in the meat department. There was a gentleman who helped us with what we needed, I didn't catch his name but he was extremely helpful and once he found out what we were making he even took time to take us to the refrigerated section and show us the best melting cheese. He was also nice enough to give my kids a piece of fresh cheese. This store has amazing prices and such friendly staff. I will be sure to go back again.

I love this place. Always a good deal to be had, the employees there are helpful and always smiling, and it t he only place that I have found that carry Cheesecake Factory Ice Cream!!!!! Their meat department is clean, fresh and some of the guys back there if your not sure how to cook a certain meat the can tell you how. They are good at what they do. The store its self is clean and organized. Highly recommended!

The woman at the cash register was not wearing a mask. But the young man who took our cart back to the store for us had his mask on and was very polite. Prices were higher than where we live but we found a few good buys.

I have always enjoyed a Fareway shopping trip. My recent trip was a one-stop-for-all experience. I was able to get ears of corn for squirrels! Clarinda has always had an excellent store. I moved from a larger area to this part of the state in 2013. I'll seek out a Fareway every chance I get!
