We make an hour drive to come down here. The food and service (Rhonda) are both worth it!! The atmosphere Is not super fancy but that’s ok because the food/service/prices are top notch. We made a special trip for the ribs and it was worth it (go early because they will run out). For $30 we got the full rack of ribs, cheeses potatoes, garlic toast, and salad bar! The full rack was more than enough for 2 people. On prior trips we’ve had the fish and Philly sandwich which were also good.

I stopped at the truck stop for the night but I decided to get a dinner at this place and I made the right decision. This place is old school.. their calendar was set to 1997.. and I really felt like it in a good way .. wish they had those big old TVs instead of new ones lol 🙂 food is good, prices are good. 5*!

First time here and definitely won't be the last! Other reviews were not wrong...glad it was Saturday, so we got to try the fall off the bone ribs!They were so tender and delicious and the half rack was as big as some places" full rack! And we still have leftovers for tomorrow. Staff was so sweet and accommodating, that we felt like regulars! Local customers were friendly and welcoming and made us feel like locals, too! It's a small town bar atmosphere with a dining room attached. If you don't care about fancy and want fantastic food and service, this place doesn't disappoint! We will definitely be back!

We showed up when the kitchen was closing, but they happily took our order and fed us! The food was great! It was Mother's Day and they gave my daughter and me a carnation! Neat place.

Stopped in during a long drive, got the ribs. They fall off the bone! The place was full, but somehow they got everyone to social distance and keep their masks on while not actively eating or drinking. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be back! Maybe on my next trip I can stop in...

Laddy's is a staple in this area. I personally enjoy their specials. Always cooked well and something different than a pub burger. I'm more into other types of beer, and they serve just domestic, so that's the 1 star discount.Definitely worth going to if you're in the area

We wanted to stop in Chester and visit the German Heritage Furniture store. We were hungry, and I believe this is the only place to eat in town. It is a bar, but the service was good, the food was hot, and the portions generous. For a hungry wayfaring stranger, it provides a nice repast.

Indeed it is not good at all … I asked the owner or the bartender what kind of beer they got the reply was “take it easy”…I mean seriously… then he poured for himself and joined his buddies and just left me hanging…

Was in the area so stopped here for dinner, the kitchen was closing but they made us dinner anyway and was super nice!! Great food! Then they gave my mom and I a flower since it was Mother's Day. Will be back!

The place is a joke seriously !!! If you’re not local or regular don’t expect any decent service or attitude.. super unprofessional staff.. waited more than an hour for a burger that was mediocre at most the fries that come with it probably the worst ever(3 $ ) extra overall total dump

Hole in the wall bar and grill. Has great food and you can always find a friend there. Daily specials. I recommend the ribs on Sat. Nights. First Sat of the month they also have very good mouthwatering prime rib.

Stopped for supper there at 8:15 tonight, got drinks 2 mins later, 8:45 they STILL haven't taken our order! If your not from there, DON'T BOTHER STOPPIN unless u feel like waiting! They literally walked around us looking at us looking at them but not stopping to take our order so we got up n left. HORRIBLE service!!

The truck stop next door got definitely better and cheaper burgers faster service and much better attitude…!!! I like their kitchen waaaaay better…!!!
