Why is the blonde manager always so grumpy to everyone? I come in this store quiet often and she has never once been friendly to any customer or any of her employees. So many people complain and nothing gets done about it. No wonder the store is always slow now that we have another dollar store in this town. I (and many others) will not be back until she is gone. I know people who drive to Paulina and holstein just because of her. I hope she doesn't cause the store to go out of business, that's what will happen if nothing is done.

No greeting, may I help you or thank you! I wish Cherokee Dollar General would increase their staff and move this store into a bigger building. Also, needs to organize their shelves better and neater. Poor management! Shop the new Dollar Tree/Family Dollar on the North end of town. Much more selection, organized and clean!

I was at the Dollar General in Cherokee, Iowa on Oct. 19th. The employee who checked me out was outstanding. Even though they are short handed they still had smiles on their faces. I just want them to know they are appreciated and to keep up the good work.: l😊

This is one of the saddest looking dallar stores I have seen. The interior and exterior need major repairs. It is one of the few places in town to buy non grocery items. It hard to impossible too find popular sundries in stock. Often here is a extremely long line at checkout. It appears that the store only staffs two employees at a time. One to run the cashregister and one to stock. The employees are friendly and helpful.

It was absolutely great there were a few places that were blocked off but other than that it was a great place to shop. I'm disabled and I need help getting stuff in my bags on my chair to get home and they were excellent at it so thank you Dollar General for helping me get my bags on my chair.

Good selection, but I don't appreciate the registers ringing up the wrong prices instead of the one day sale items. Resulting in us going back in to get it handled, only to have the clerk not know how to credit back our card.

It's a uniform Dollar General layout.If they have what you need, it will be easy to find.I take no negative issue with the employees or their level of professionalism or customer service.

I hardly ever miss a week without stopping at least once at the Dollar General. Everything is quick easy to find and just about anything you need from canned goods to household goods at Dollar General.

We left a bag at Paulina, store and remembered when we got home and was back at the store 40 minutes laterThe same lady that checked is out said we didnt and wouldnt even look at our receipt to prove our selve.

Cant get to 1/2 the items in the store because there are ALWAYS carts blocking everything. Went to kmart to get pet food and toilet paper because employees are to busy talking instead of stocking the shelves. Its ridiculous.

Its a joke wait in line for along time while the lady should be checking the customer out instead of getting help she talks and talks while a big line there always boxes and creates all over the floors they do more talking then working

They have great service well-priced products, & I highly recommend Dollar General, in Cherokee , Iowa...Atlantic , Iowaas I have been to these two, &have been quite happy with theboth of them.
