This place went above and beyond. I arrived 12 hours early for my appointment and when they called me an hour later for a dock I couldn’t get my truck in gear. They helped me get my truck out from under the trailer and put in the door for me. Because of the issues with my truck they are storing my trailer for free until I get my truck fixed. This place is awesome from the guard shack yard dogs and receiving staff. Y’all are awesome

Nice store, smaller than others in DSM, Indianola, has a pretty good selection. Staff is friendly, but I believe they are short staffed too. Sometimes they're out of certain items.

Pros: Great Customer service both guard shack and shipping. Plenty of room to maneuver and dock. Clean facility. Staging area outside reefer side if shipping good for shut downs. If drop and hook no waiting despite scheduled appointment. Two mom n pops truck stops a few miles away. Organized receiving and shipping process.Free showers for drivers… yes you read that right.Cons: middle of nowhere sketchy network issues.

Please please please!!! start checking your muffins and cookies to see if they are fully baked before you sell em to folks. My wife and I love the muffins and cookies and get them quiet often. However the last few months we keep getting muffins and sometimes cookies that are undercooked in the center and have a strong oder of rotten dough.

It's a little store, so the selection isn't the best. You'd think that with a distribution center 3 miles away there wouldn't be missing items, but there were. The prices are a lot higher than I thought they should have been. Probably the "small town markup" that happens when there is limited competition.

If your going to te Hyvee DC and you have frozen goods on your trailer, then you will delivery to the Hyvee on Hyvee Drive. If not then you will deliver to the DC on Osceola Ave. Nice people. Get a green light and your paperwork is on the back of the trailer. Leave a door open so they can check on your way out. If you need groceries then take Hyvee Dr back south to 34. I think that is where the new Casey's is going to be. You can oark there while it's under construction. There is a Hyvee grocery store one block from there on the north side of the road.

You would think this would be the cheapest Hy-Vee of all since their distribution center and truck shop are literally 20 blocks away. Like maybe they would wanna show appreciation to the employees who keep the whole of Hy-Vee running, by having some lower prices for them; but nope. Most expensive Hy-Vee I think I've ever seen.

So there's the old saying pretty popular around here that if you're going to do something you might just as well do it right. Hy-Vee's bottle redemption center at their Lantern Park plaza store in Coralville is a disgrace to the organization. I would hope this isn't the public face that it wants to put out there for people to judge it by, and that the condition of the equipment has just accidentally slipped by management's notice.

Very nice staff . Even though I forgotten my medical cards they went out of their way to call the doctor's clinic and looked up available information on the computer. Was very fast service for a prescription and had lots of amazing foods and options in the store, deli and spirits area. Along with all of that they also have gifts that if your in a hurry to get back to loved ones for kids, husband or wife.

At least my OTC HEALTHY FOOD CARD worked today. Always been told in other Hy-vee stores that it was the card!!I went to Hy-vee in Chartion Iowa today. I enjoy going there, very nice store and the employees are always very friendly and helpful, if I need help finding something. They had several bargains today and I took advantage of a few of them. Very nice Colorado peaches were only $1.69 a pound, and boy are they good!!! Well not really good, because they were absolutely fantastic.It's 6 am, and I just about have peach cobbler ready to go into the oven.I made rhubarb, strawberry, black berry cobbler first and I will bake them both at the same time. I'm 82 years old and I like to cook, and I make my own dry rub for the meats we eat. It has very little salt and 16 different spices and herbs.So go visit Chartion Hy-vee for yourself. Oh, don't forget to say HI to Tom, who sacks groceries all day long, and give him a good hand shake and tell him how much he is appreciated at the Chartion Hy-vee!!!!! Have great day everyone.

The store was clean but they only had one checker trying to make everyone use their new self checkouts. Used to like the hometown feel of Hy-Vee stores, now they seem just like a Wal-Mart.Edit:. I might have changed my review if management would have returned my call. All the cashier's they do have are nice as can be but they are lacking on cashier's.

Only option in town for groceries/pharmacy and it shows. It is literally a store closest to the a warehouse and they are always out of stock! If it is a sale day you better be there the moment it opens or it won’t be there. The overpriced meat has been brown on several occasions. I also suggest checking dates for the product on the shelves due to they are often past the date. The pharmacy staff are polite for the most part, except for a couple employees. They do however mix up prescriptions and lie about amount and dates for refills. This is hands down the worst Hy-Vee location I have been to. The store suffers due to lack of competition which would push them to be better. I would never recommend this location if there is an alternative feasible.

Great experience and friendly atmosphere with Drivers lounge with 4 TV s free coffee . I wish these other grocery stores chains would follow this example. The best 👌 . Look forward to seeing you again soon

I get prices have gone up everywhere, but Hy-Vee thinks their generic food is worth gold. Wanted to buy a simple can of olives. Last year $1.40, today $2.49. I bought groceries for 1 meal today spent over $150. That's insane. Plus all the self scanner check-outs. For real Hy-Vee you have blown it.

The employees and managers are definitely Very helpful. Store is neat and set up well. Prices is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. That's just because they have no competition. If you were the manager you would probably do the same.

You should expect when shopping at any Hy-Vee to spend a few dollars more for the exact same product than you would almost anywhere else, that’s just a fact. But what’s really crazy to me is that there is nowhere else in Chariton to buy groceries, and on a regular basis the shelves will be empty of multiple types of products at this location. There is literally a distribution center in this town, and they somehow don’t care enough to have enough product for the people who live here. I used to work at other locations and left the company years ago because of the direction this company has gone. It’s sad. Too bad there’s not another option in this town for those days when I forget to buy something at Walmart or Fareway.

It's a nice store but make sure Hy-Vee pharmacy understands you clearly an repeat alot so no one has to wait long periods to get there meds .. cause obviously new people working there and they can't hear you or only interpret half what you say..

I called about store hours. They were owed but lady suggest a place I might find what I was looking for that was open. Customer service always at HyVee.That should have said...they were not openHyVee is a very clean, well stocked store all over the Midwest. Last year we were in West Des Moine for a wedding weekend and visited for breakfast. Their restaurant are really nice and really priced well.

I ordered groceries for pickup and got an email that they were ready on time. I got there and called the number and they said someone would be right out. I waited for 25 minutes and no one came, so I went inside and the girl at customer service said they forgot about me! I can't believe she told me that! So I go back out to my car and wait another 10 minutes for them to finally bring me my groceries. That girl said they weren't ready yet when I first arrived, but then why did I get an email saying it was ready? Worst experience with a Hy-vee. EDIT you can see the reached out to me, but in reality, they never answered the emails I sent. They don't care about their customers.

Seriously disappointed in the Birthday Cake I ordered for my son. It is nothing like what I ordered. My son is so upset. He is 5 and knew at the first look that was not "his cake". I expected better. If I could give them no stars I would! I attached photos above to show the difference.

Hy-Vee is my favorite grocery store! I know I will be able to purchase the freshest produce. I love their bakery! I have never been in one of their stores and found it to be dirty . If I don't find what I want I can ask anyone working there and they will direct me to someone who will order it for me.

We picked this Hy-vee to do my daughter's wedding because they knew where the venue was and they were local and I like to support local businesses. They arrived late, had no warmers for the food, and no one to help serve or clean up. We ate off of Styrofoam and plastic. The chicken was not only cold but tough. While I was co.plaining and in tears, the 2 gentleman who brought the food just stared at me. We were not offered a discount or even an apology.

It’s a smaller store, less variety. It does really well for necessary things. Good selection of alcoholic beverages. The pharmacy is quick, professional, and genuinely cares about you.

Out of mountain drive soda (Hy vee brand),& Meat shortage on done items. Prices areOutrageous.but first time out in over 3 months. Got my free mask so feel morecomfortable if I have to go out for any reason

I only utilized the pharmacy today to get my second COVID booster. No waiting in line and pleasant staff. Great place to get your COVID vaccine at least today!
