A wonderful place to get good quality organic and non organic foods. The place has plenty of parking. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and willing to help you find something if you don't know where it is. Great quality meats that are out on the counter that allows you to choose which pieces you want. The also do ordering on line and then you can come to the store for pickup if you perfer thks option as well. I would recommend stopping in and paying them a visit.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Like most stores they have a meat, fish, salad bar, diary, chips, beer, wine, and large selection of uncured meats in their refrigerated section and a nice produce section. Parking lot is behind front facing street. Becoming a member saves you 20%.

I always love visiting New Pioneer, even if this location doesn't quite have the selection of the other two stores in the Iowa City area. There is a fair amount of vegan food, as compared to other local markets, though the bulk section could definitely be expanded.The cafe has a wide assortment of food, including lots of (clearly labeled) vegan options. Love the Rock and Roll Avocado Tofuwich! The bakery section likewise has a great selection, including some vegan pastries.

We ordered the Easter meal for four and it was perfect. The quiche and the cinnamon rolls were especially delicious. I also thought it was a good deal for $80! We would have paid more to go to a restaurant and the food would have probably not been as good.

So grateful to have this coop. Fresh, organic, sustainably and ethically raised food. The staff are always pleasant and the facility is clean and tidy. Some complain about the price, but it's cheaper than HyVee for organic produce. And the quality has no comparison.

The service when I check out is always really nice. I usually try to shop on deals as much as possible so I can try to pay as little as possible and I'm always surprised by the good deals they have. I usually pay a little more there then other grocery stores but I feel like the food I get is always such higher quality. New Pioneer is probably one of my go-to places to get groceries now.

Looked all over town for gluten free rolls for a holiday party. Found them here. 10/10 would shop here for niche items again, but also, they have some very high quality and unique foods and snacks that make it worth the trip.

Overall it was great. They had at least one option for everything, some stuff was reasonably priced. Other stuff was absolutely bonkers expensive. And I get it, being organic and whatnot, but $19.99/lb for New York strip feels like highway robbery to me, thus only 4 stars.

This is a great store to go to when you want to see nice fruits, nice vegetables, and products arranged on the shelf that you can see. The Meat and Fish counter is outstanding. Now having said that unless you got a big wallet with lots of money to pay for overpriced Goods this is the place to go

This shop has the heart to make it in a larger market, I'm not sure how they make profit with the "not so large" clientele in Cedar Rapids. Wonderful concept and mostly stellar customer service. The meat counter guy was a little bothered by my questions about what was made in-house, the packaged food at the end of the counter I learned. However, a man, who appeared to be the proprietor, took the time to ask me if there was anything he could assist me locating when I was scanning the tea section. The dates on some of the product were cutting it close and the prepared items were over priced, 17 for a trout and goat cheese demo, but I went for it. Support your locally owned businesses because regardless of the venue size they are still small business!!

Great health food shop with varying organic produce at great prices and lots of vegan options! I have to grab a vegan chocolate chip cookie from their bakery section every time I go! They’re packaged vegan foods are also very reasonably priced which tend to not be the case at other grocery stores.
