I never seem to find the items I need here. It is a very nice store, very clean with good looking produce. Unusual frozen meat selection: wild boar, ostrich, Yak, Bison....They have a large selection of frozen meals, desserts, cheese, dairy. I love how many different types of refrigerated uncured meats they have.I never have problems running in and out even though it is located on a very busy street.

One of the best places for a vegan to shop. Too many options to choose from, just check packaging to make sure it's what you want since vegan items are sprinkled in randomly. Wish it had a dedicated aisle for it.

We were happy to find Natural Grocers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as we have 2 stores in San Antonio, Texas, and we always are impressed with their quality and variety of healthy, organic products. Excellent store for organic produces. Good thing is that almost all items here are organic, so we don't have to look for Organic label before buying. Variety is also available among the items.

Great little grocery and OTC apothecary store that has a reading nook to boot. The sales prices are actually sales prices. Whenever I'm in Cedar Rapids I go there for healthy grain free picnic food and snacks. They have a large selection, for the size of the store, of healthy mostly organic drinks. I even use their app and my FREE store membership to add to my savings. I also enjoy their store in South Bend, IN. I just wish I had a store near me in ILLINOIS.

I like natural grocers because it's a smaller store. I can browse through items and don't feel overwhelmed. They also often have hard to find items. They're selection of supplements is unbeatable. The staff is knowledgeable about the supplements as well. They are almost always able to make a good recommendation.

My favorite! Small store, but literally has *everything* you need or want.Best produce in town; best prices, too.Most thorough assortment of vitamins & supplements you'll find anywhere. Plus, specifically trained Vitamin/Supplement staff to answer all your questions & make recommendations as needed. Shelby is *amazing*; she knows *all the things*.Best selection of items for special diets, no matter which diet you follow. I can't eat gluten, and they have more options for my diet than anywhere else in town.Clean, well-lit store. Very shoppable, well-organized + easy to find what you need. And, if you do need help locating an item, staff is readily available, super friendly, and knowledgeable.Speaking of staff -- this crew is the *best*!!! I'm in a couple times per week, so I know most staff by name, and they recognize me as well. The whole staff is friendly, kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Not only that, but they really strive to make the shopping experience feel like you are part of something. Like they value you as a customer and have a connection with you.Best of all, the food is all organic, but the prices are certainly no worse (most often, much better!) than your local Hy-Vee.

Everytime I need truly organic or gluten free foods, I can always find some here. Great veggies, especially monster juicing carrots. Great natural food and everything else store. Check it out!

Best customer service I ever had in a grocery store! I got help finding everything I was looking for since I was new to the store. I was asked about reserving a turkey for Thanksgiving before they run out. I was told about their N power club so I can save more money next time. I found organic berries here at a much better price than at other local stores. I found free range chickens humanely raised which are hard to find in local stores. I also found organic olives preserved in citric acid. Most have lactic acid. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they had no fresh horseradish or Atlantic caught/ raised fish.

Authentic products, most of the seasonal organic produce is affordable here. They also carry cruelty-free bath, beauty, aroma therapy products, and vegetarian, non-gmo supplement choices.

When shopping exclusively for sale items, one can leave here with quite an impressive haul for a surprisingly low bill....but finding the sales is an experience that resembles a scavenger hunt as they are randomly placed throughout the store. Other Natural Grocers organize their sales into particular sections. This one...not so much (despite having dedicated sections).And don't expect to be greeted, helped, or encouraged to purchase anything here. Other Natural Grocers have helpful enough staff, often times the cashiers are almost too talkative. Here, at the Cedar Rapids store, you mostly just get stares. Like, the cashier will stare at you while you box/bag up your own purchases. And that cashier will be the assistant store manager, leaving you with some sense of why no one talks to anyone else if the management acts like this. Someone call corporate.So prepare yourself mentally to be completely autonomous in this space and then, if you're like us, you'll just sigh a sigh of relief that it's all over when you leave...until you go back because those sales are so good.

After my brother had a massive heart attack, I wasn't sure what he could eat with every artery blocked he had 4 stents. I went to find heart healthy foods and Shelby was my personal shopper. She was truly knowledgeable and helped me find items that would work and gave me new ideas and suggestions s. She was kind and really was sincerely interested to know how everything worked out. When i was not sure at all how to start a new suitable diet plan, Shelby was helpful locating items through the store and offered great guidence. Now we are adjusting. Love the staff here. Great products. Also, when you just need five more minutes.....store hours are good. Thanks natural Grocer.

Had I known that purchasing 9 items was such an inconvenience to your cashier, I wouldn't have stopped in today. I've gotten better customer service from a self checkout. I'll make it easier for them by not coming back.

Great variety and selection of natural and organic foods. Healthy alternatives to typical preservative laden foods found at other grocers.Bring your own reusable bags or you can choose from a variety of their recycled boxes at check out.Fresh produce thats not beat up or rotting..Fair pricing and friendly staff.Plenty of Vegetarian and Vegan options.

Natural Grocers has a well-kept, organized environment, the shopkeepers are friendly and helpful, and they are quick to help you find anything you need no matter what it is. Their prices are competitive for organic/natural products, and their freshness is something I trust. My favorite part of this grocery store is the vitamin section and the dried herb section. They have a variety of grass-fed organic meats, milks, and eggs, vegan meat, milk, and baking options, good vegan cheeses, milks, and other natural/organic foods. They even have an Asian cooking section with sushi making ingredients, dashi flakes, miso paste, etc. No other natural foods store can compare, and I say that because they hit the mark more consistently and I always leave happy and taken care of.

Great prices and the staff is very friendly. They do have a "bulk section" but everything is packaged in plastic. If you are looking to reduce your plastic waste, this might not be the best place to shop. Despite that, they do have better prices than a lot of other health food stores.
